Aspirations UK

Aspirations UK, in Barry, is the official stockist of Frenchic Chalk paint and sells furniture, home accessories, gifts and industrial items. They also offer a Commission Service, which includes upcycling furniture, front doors and kitchens. The business encourages people to upcycle instead of buying new and the process helps reduce quality furniture ending up in landfills. Aspirations are now offering client commission services, POA.

Momma Nature

Momma Nature is a small independent Cardiff based business creating skincare products using natural ingredients. The idea behind the business began after a loved one was diagnosed with cancer. Before radiotherapy sessions they were advised not to use certain skincare products as they contained aluminium. This information made us think more about the ingredients in the products we were putting on our skin. After much research into natural products and their properties and a lot of experimentation Momma Nature’s first products emerged 5 years ago. All ingredients are organic and natural, from the Shea butter obtained from a woman’s cooperative in Ghana to locally sourced beeswax. Our products include moisturising body butters, hand creams, nail creams, lip balms, face creams and soaps all hand made in Cardiff. Products can be made to order in a variety of fragrances and sizes. We promote a zero waste policy with all packaging being recyclable and we offer money back for all tins returned to us for re-use. You can find us at markets in and around Cardiff. We are at Roath market on the 2nd Saturday of every month and Indiesuperstore markets in Llandaff North and The Bone Yard.

Wildflower Kitchen

Stepping into Wildflower from the busy hustle and bustle of Whitchurch Road, you’re welcomed by the delicious smell of home-cooked goods and a friendly, relaxed vibe. Wildflower Kitchen celebrates all the good things in a simplistic lifestyle. Great ethically sourced food that focuses on nutrition as well as all the deliciousness in an arty setting. We serve a fab selection of brunch, lunch, salads and bakes, all made in house by us. Our hash-browns are absolutely not to be missed if you’re visiting us for a cooked breaky and the salad bowls are a great weekday health boost, packed with fibre, plant proteins, wholegrain carbs and all the micro nutrients we need to feel nourished! Our Kitchen runs from 9am until 2pm, including breakfast and brunch for those late starters and Café is open until 4pm serving our yummy bakes until closing. We make all our cakes in house and have a great variety of our best-selling brownies and blondies, with 8 varieties to choose from, it’s difficult to not take a box home. We serve cakes with an interesting twist, lemon and rose drizzle is one of our personal favs and we always have plant-based and gf treats on the counter. You can order our brownies, blondies to collect from the Café, perfect treat for a celebration, birthday gift or just a Saturday evening!
