We had the honor of catching up with PatBO’s founder and creative director, Patricia Bonaldi, to delve deeper into her journey and vision for the brand:
Would you walk us through your creative process when designing a new collection?
I often say I’m a mix of ever-changing ideas—I really think everyone’s got a bit of creativity in them, it just shows up in different ways. When I’m in my creative zone, I love to soak up everything around me and find those little sparks of inspiration in everyday things. As a designer, my desk is a real collage of textures. I’m always playing around with fabric swatches, imagining how they might come together. What I love most is the process of layering them up, mixing and matching. The real challenge, but also the best part, is figuring out how to make all these elements work together— like blending embroidered flowers with different trims and textures. That’s where the magic happens for me.
What inspired your Summer 2024 collection and how do you continue to stay inspired?
For our Summer 2024 collection, we’ve dipped into a blend of fashion and art with a good dose of nostalgia. Every time I design a new line, my goal is to bring back distinct vibes from the past and give them
a fresh twist. This time, we’re channeling the 90s and 2000s, infusing those years with new energy and adding silhouettes that are comfy, versatile, and chic. Our prints are really special—they feature exclusive hand-drawn designs that combine artistic influences with the music and trends of those decades. We’ve transformed these elements into unique watercolors and graphics, making each piece a wearable piece of art. Staying inspired is all about mixing these creative ingredients to reimagine something timeless yet new.
Rumor has it, you love being at the happiest place on Earth. What is your favorite thing to do at Walt Disney World?
It’s tough to narrow down my favorite thing to do at Disney, because every part of it is magical! But if I really had to choose, I’d say just wandering through the various theme parks is my top pick. There’s something special about soaking in the unique atmosphere of each park—exploring the exciting rides, meeting those iconic characters, and just getting lost in the magic. Every visit feels like a brand-new, unforgettable adventure.
Are there any exciting new collaborations or upcoming projects for PatBO?
I’m fully immersed in preparing for NYFW in September. We’re exploring various themes and planning to unveil something surprising at this runway show. Additionally, I’m excited to share that we’ll have an exciting collaboration with a dear friend whom I deeply admire later this year. Stay tuned for more details coming soon!

The Artifact Exhibition

This section represents a tiny fragment of the Titanic's hull and weighs two tons. Originally from the starboard side, the portholes looked into the ship's dishwashing and china storage room.
The year is 1912, Spring has recently sprung. While some are preparing to stay local for social season in England, about 2,240 people are getting ready to embark across the sea, on a voyage to New York amidst the R.M.S Titanic.
At TITANIC: The Artifact Exhibition, you can step into a world of wonder, a world that takes you back 112 years ago to day one on April 10, 1912, when thousands made their way up the Southampton White Star Line Dock to board the Titanic, to day five of the journey, April 14, 1912 - the last grand dinner, and eventually, to the final moments of the unforgettable Titanic.
Before you travel back in time, you are greeted with a White Star Line boarding pass that allows you permission to come aboard the grand Ship of Dreams. For a day you assume the role of a real passenger. Listed are your name, age, class, final destination and reason for travel, along with an interesting fact about you. At the end of the tour, you are met with your fate. Were you among one of the roughly 706 survivors, or were you amongst the 1,500 who unfortunately did not arrive in New York?
You can embark on the journey guiding yourself, or you can opt for a guided tour, ranging in an hour to hour and a halflength in time.
As you enter the hallways of the Exhibition, you may be greeted by those in character aboard the Titanic, like first female theatre producer on Broadway, Mrs. Henry B. Harris, or other artifact experts.
And, as you step into each room, you uncover another piece of history. The Exhibition features more than 300 authentic artifacts and historical memorabilia. Some of the rooms are full-scale re-creations of actual landmarks on the Titanic, for example, the Verandah Café, the Grand Staircase, and the First-Class Parlor Suite.
You are now a part of the Edwardian era, a time when innovations were booming and
men could be found dressed in three-piece suits, while women would wear their most ostentatious hats and ribbon-belted dresses. And the Titanic, well, it was no exception. You are shown the many advanced features of the Ship, like the cold and hot faucets from a bathroom on deck during a time when not even all homes had such features. Or, the precise tile flooring that, for even a basement in Third Class, looked as lavish as if it were hand-crafted today.
And, if you really want to get into character, you can even elect for the Titanic Teatime package afternoon teatime experience exemplifying the Edwardian tea traditions surrounded by elegance in the First Class Dining Saloon. The experience features a
at bringing you right back to the last night aboard the Titanic. The entire experience is 3 hours and it is well worth it. You are presented with a multi-course dinner, and a performance by the very notable Titanic personalities, each giving you a glimpse of what it was like that very night in 1912.
My inner child was just as excited touring the galleries of the TITANIC: The Artifact Exhibition as I was the day I was on my way to watch James Cameron’s Titanic in 1997. And the experience lived up to the expectation. Near the end of the tour, you can even touch an iceberg that replicates the temperature of the water on that fateful night. For those especially interested in the most immersive reinvention of the Titanic, the Exhibition is one of the closest reimagined experiences brought to life. In summary, the experience is a combination of history, education and entertainment - there’s something in store for everyone ready to embark on the journey.

I used to adore short skirts, but these days I’m really into midi lengths.

The Swim & Yacht Wear fashion shows during Orlando International Fashion Week (Swim Week) have served as a reference point for designers and trend-setters. The 2024 show this year was innovative and influential. Designers presented an array of exquisite, functional pieces such as sarongs, cover-ups, casual-elegant apparel, and the hat with a wide brim - that is always trending in Florida. They also highlighted the return of the preppy aesthetic and the micromini pleated skirt, which caught the attention of all the fashionistas. Predominately seen were readyto-wear collections, especially in terms of color schemes. Sage green, butter yellow, baby blue, and light lavender graced the runways. Surprisingly, there were a wide variety of headscarves. There are numerous ways to style a silk headscarf, and nothing says “unique spirit” like one. Silk scarves of all sizes, square and tie-shaped, were displayed on the catwalks. In addition to being worn as tiny sarongs, scarves were also worn as wrist and neck ties and, in certain cases, as complete cover-ups. Regardless of how you choose to wear it, this is undoubtedly the season’s must-have accessory.

Nina Magon gained national attention in 2011 when she was invited to compete on NBC’s television show, American Dream Builders, featuring twelve interior designers vying to be named the best in the nation. Magon ended up placing second, which propelled her into the spotlight and led to prestigious opportunities. Saks Fifth Avenue Houston enlisted her to design their 51Fifteen restaurant in the affluent Galleria area of Houston, Texas.
Magon’s unique ability to bridge fashion and interior design has led to collaborations with renowned brands. She designed a collection with Bergdorf Goodman and was featured in the 97th edition of Neiman Marcus’s iconic Christmas Book, known for its legendary fantasy gifts. One of the standout items was a Milandesigned experience with Nina Magon, priced at $380,000. With its purchase, Magon personally donated $10,000 to The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center.

How is your personal style linked to your work?
My personal style serves as a direct manifestation of my design ethos. I am drawn to bold, edgy, and contemporary aesthetics that stir profound emotions, whether in fashion or interiors. I love that the Houston Chronicle named you as one of the most stylish people in Houston. How would you describe your personal style in fashion?
In the realm of fashion, my personal style epitomizes edgy modernity, bold refinement, and timeless sophistication, all underscored by an enduring sense of elegance. I relish integrating distinct statement pieces that echo my confidence and boundless creativity, mirroring the ethos evident in my design endeavors.
Name a fashion designer that understands your everyday daytime look and one that understands your glammed night out look.
In 2022, Nina Magon won gold, silver, and bronze for best product design at New York’s prestigious BDNY Awards. She was also a finalist in the BOY Design Awards, won Lux Magazine’s Readers’ Choice Award, and was named Entrepreneur of the Year by the Asian Chamber of Commerce. In 2023, Magon published her book Evoke, which explores the connection between fashion and interior design. This work underscores her belief in the synergy between these two fields. Balmain’s Olivier Rousteing collaborated with Magon on a special project at the Mandarin Oriental Residences in Beverly Hills. Magon’s curation of the penthouse complemented and highlighted the signature elements of Balmain’s Spring/Summer 2024 collection, demonstrating how interior design and fashion can inform, enhance, and elevate each other when details align, and visions are unified.

You’ve collaborated with a lot of amazing luxurious brands. Which brand has been your favorite to partner with to date and why?
Partnering with Balmain has been an exceptional journey in fashion collaboration. Their daring, opulent, and edgy designs seamlessly resonate with my own aesthetic sensibilities, elevating every aspect of our collaboration. When it came to the launch of my coffee table book, EVOKE, the decision to collaborate with Balmain was a natural fit, not only because of my profound admiration for their brand but also because I adorned their designs in the book's photography. Their creation of custom book bags from Balmain fabric added an unparalleled sense of luxury and exclusivity to the event, perfectly merging my passions for interior design and fashion into a truly unforgettable experience.
Can you tell us about a new trend that we're expected to see in the fall within interior design?
Anticipate a revival of sumptuous, earthy hues intermingled with sleek, contemporary accents this fall. Envision a palette adorned with deep greens, terracottas, and inviting warm neutrals, complemented by striking, organic patterns and indulgent textures such as velvet and brass. This trend embodies a seamless fusion of tranquil, nature-inspired serenity and refined, modern sophistication.
Any chance we may see your designs in Orlando soon?
Continuously seeking new horizons and ventures, I find myself drawn to the potential of Orlando. While details remain under wraps for now, I am eagerly contemplating the prospect of infusing my design ethos into the vibrant fabric of this city. It's a thrilling possibility that ignites my imagination, and I look forward to sharing more as plans unfold.
You have had so many incredible accomplishments in the last decade. What’s next for you, Nina?
Embarking on the next phase of my journey, I am poised to extend my brand's reach across the globe, introducing innovative product lines and spearheading real estate ventures under our brand name. Dr. Michael P. Strolla is a board-certified addiction medicine physician and a Diplomate of the American Board of Addiction Medicine. He is a Fellow of the American Society of Addiction Medicine with over 20 years of experience in the field. He has excellence in clinical practice as well as enjoyment in teaching fellows and medical students (from UF, USF and NOVA) and has maintained his status as a leader and advocate in the addiction field of medicine.
He was the Medical Director of an addiction treatment program in Tampa for 15 years before he opened his own private practice. He is now the owner and Medical Director of Tampa Bay Recovery Care and for 16 plus years has also been the Medical Director of ACTS (Agency for Community Treatment Services). Dr. Strolla specializes in treating the disease of addiction as well as maintenance medical therapy which includes detoxification and stabilization. He is a top evaluator in the state of Florida for the licensed professional monitoring agencies including PRN, IPN, FLA and including the corresponding Boards involved for medical professionals in need of support. He also assisted many facilities as their Medical Review Officer.
He has been published in The Journal of Addictive Diseases and many internet articles including the Penny Hoarder as an expert reference. He has also been used as an informative source for many TV news stations in the Tampa area on the current addiction subjects and issues plaguing society.
Dr. Strolla was born in Yonkers and then raised in Monroe, New York. He graduated Cum Laude from Union College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology, while also playing college football. He then graduated from NYCOM with his medical degree and completed his initial training in Family Medicine at Westchester Medical Center serving as chief resident. After focusing his medical career on addiction medicine, he moved to Tampa in 2004 and completed his fellowship training in Addiction Medicine at the University of Florida.
Among his many accomplishments, Dr. Strolla was instrumental in assisting the U.S. Drug Czar in formulating the prescription drug monitoring system used today to help reduce the current drug epidemic. He has assisted many people in their fight against the disease of addiction, helping them in many ways by giving a compassionate, honest and humble approach. His passionate treatment includes not only office based but home detoxification and maintenance. He works with many local and national medical societies and served as a board member of the Florida Society of Addiction Medicine for many years.
In his free time, Dr. Strolla enjoys his family, consisting of his mother and sister. He also collects fine art, enjoys fine cuisine and loves to spend time with his animals and local sports teams.
DR. DEREN GOKER, DO
Internal Medicine Physician, Hospitalist
Dr. Deren Goker is a board-certified Internal Medicine physician that received his medical degree from Touro University California College of Osteopathic Medicine. Prior to this, he attended Georgetown University for his undergraduate degree, then earned a Master’s of Medical Science at the University of South Florida in Tampa. He completed his residency at SkyRidge Medical Center in Denver, Colorado prior to moving to Tampa where he currently practices as a Hospitalist with Optum Florida. He is credentialed at 6 hospitals in the greater Tampa area but is mainly stationed at St. Joseph’s Hospital Main Campus, as well as AdventHealth Carrollwood.
Throughout his journey in medicine, he has been exposed to patients of varying socioeconomic statuses and levels of health literacy. He prides himself on developing a trustworthy relationship with his patients that is rooted in empathy and
compassion. His overarching goal in the care of his patients is centered around listening and teaching. He aims to equip his patients with knowledge regarding the causes and consequences of their current and chronic health issues, as well as the rationale behind the therapies indicated for them. He believes this will provide patients with the confidence needed to make major lifestyle modifications and adhere to treatment plans, thereby avoiding future hospitalizations and achieving an improved quality of life.
Outside of the hospital, Dr. Goker enjoys spending time with his significant other, who works as an RN at AdventHealth Tampa, and their French Bulldog, Andre. Dr. Antonio Luis is a primary care physician who is board-certified in internal medicine and has specialized training in HIV/AIDS care. Dr. Luis then attended the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, Georgia, where he earned his medical degree in 2009. He completed his internal medicine residency training 2012 at Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
In 2012, Dr. Luis began working as an Academic Hospitalist at Lankenau Medical Center. He spent five years educating residents and providing quality patient care. His dedication to addressing daily challenges was clear, as was his emphasis on effective communication, particularly when working with specialists and nurses from different hospital systems. In 2017, he joined Mazzoni Center, an LGBTQIA+ community center, where his focus on HIV/AIDS and gender-affirming care grew. Here, he became an HIV/AIDS specialist recognized
by the American Academy of HIV Medicine and established a High-Resolution Anoscopy Clinic to increase preventive care in the community. In 2019, he took on a role at Spruce Internal Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania, where he led their LGBTQIA+ program and trained other providers.
In 2021, Dr. Luis moved to Tampa, Florida, to work as a Medical Director at the AIDS Healthcare Foundation. Here, he focused on providing quality care to a neglected patient population.
Dr. Luis opened Inclusive Care Group in 2022. Here, he focuses on providing specialized care and preventive maintenance to individual patients. His goal is to offer quicker access to care and make healthcare more cost-effective. He is committed to delivering high-quality care to everyone, with a particular focus on ensuring the LGBTQIA+ community receives proper care. His passions include LGBTQIA+ care, HIV/AIDS care, genderaffirming care, and supporting his community.
FARYAL MALLICK, MD

Dr. Mallick is a distinguished psychiatrist, triple board-certified by The American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology in General, Child & Adolescent, and Forensic Psychiatry. She earned her medical degree from King Edward Medical University in Pakistan and initially focused on cardiovascular pathology and pharmacology research before returning to her true passion, psychiatry. Dr. Mallick completed her General Psychiatry training at the University of Louisville, followed by a Child & Adolescent Psychiatry fellowship at the University of Florida, and a Forensic Psychiatry Fellowship at Emory University. Additionally, she completed a twoyear core program in Psychoanalysis at the Emory University Psychoanalytic Institute and pursued further education in psychodynamic psychotherapy and psychoanalysis with the Washington Baltimore Center of Psychoanalysis.
Recognized for her contributions to research, clinical practice, and quality improvement, Dr. Mallick is the founder of FMP Mental Health Spa. She is lauded as a “healer of the mind and soul” and is a
staunch advocate for a holistic approach to mental health, emphasizing psychotherapy and minimal medication use. Dr. T’s medical journey began before his move to the United States in 1989. Initially a practicing general surgeon, he decided to transition to anesthesiology, a field where he has since made significant contributions. He began his residency at Tampa General Hospital in 1992 and has remained there, serving in various capacities and consistently enhancing the quality of care provided to patients.
Dr. T’s dedication to his profession is evident in his pursuit of continuous education and specialization. In 1998, he obtained a certification in pain management, broadening his expertise and ability to treat patients with complex pain conditions. To further augment his skills, particularly in the managerial aspects of operating room operations, he earned an MBA from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, in 2006. This combination
of medical and business education has made him a valuable asset to the hospital, where he adeptly manages both clinical and administrative responsibilities.
Teaching is another passion for Dr. T. From 2011 to 2013, he shared his knowledge and experience with Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) at the Wolford School of Nursing, contributing to the development of future anesthesia professionals. His dedication to education underscores his commitment to advancing the field of anesthesiology.
Outside of his professional life, Dr. T enjoys spending quality time with his family and engaging in various recreational activities. He loves beach outings, fishing, and has recently started exploring the game of golf. His diverse interests reflect a wellrounded individual who values both personal and professional fulfillment.

Senior Attorney Kelly Grace Urbano has the distinct honor of leading the Brown Immigration Law Tampa office. Kelly joined Brown Immigration Law in 2021. She received her Juris Doctorate from the University of Maryland School of Law and is admitted to practice law in the State of Florida and the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals. Kelly graduated from Florida International University Magna Cum Laude with a double major in Political Science and Philosophy.
Prior to joining Brown Immigration Law, Kelly worked for six years in a highvolume practice with a well-known immigration law firm based in Orlando, Florida, representing clients in cases involving removal defense, asylum, appeals, family-based immigration, naturalization, and inadmissibility waivers.
Kelly is deeply passionate about helping and advocating for immigrants.
