Jabel Shams DAY 01: Muscat – Wadi Nakhar – Jabel Shams You leave to Hajjar Mountains. Stop in Wadi Nakhar, a beautiful small village, surrounded by date and banana trees. You can visit also old Part of Alhamra or Misfah (optional). After the stop, continue driving to Jabal Shams. Jabal Shams, the highest peak in Oman with a height of 3,009 meters. Jabal Shams means “Mountain of the Sun” and its old name is JABEL AL QANAH. The area is home to weavers of heavy woolen rugs in distinctive colors. Take a walk to see the Grand Canyon. DAY 02: Jabel Shams - Muscat Enjoy the Breakfast at Hotel. Have a nice time by doing some Activities in Hotel or Mountain. Enjoy the cool climate up in the mountains. After enjoying your Time, head back to Muscat via Nizwa. Before you reach Muscat, you can visit the old Part of Nizwa or Birkat Al Mouz.
