FRENCH BISTRO BEEF STEW • 2 ½ lbs. (1.13 kg) beef chuck, cut into 1” cubes • 2 Tbsp. flour • 1 tsp. salt • 3 Tbsp. olive oil • 2 slices bacon, cut into 1” pieces • 1 medium onion, diced • 1 large carrot, diced

• 4 cloves garlic, minced (or 1 Tbsp. Oh! So Garlic)

• 2 Tbsp. tomato paste • 1 pkg. French Bistro Spice Blend • 2 cups red wine or beef broth • ½ cup water Toss beef in flour and salt to coat. Heat oil in a skillet on medium; brown the beef. Transfer beef to slow cooker with remaining flour. In the same skillet sauté bacon, onion, carrot, celery and garlic for 2 minutes. Add to slow cooker. Stir in tomato paste. Sprinkle in the French Bistro spice blend; add the red wine or beef broth and water. Stir, cover and cook on low for 8 hours or on high for 4 hours. CLASSIC POT ROAST
Make Now: In a bowl, whisk together warm water and beef bouillon. Add Oh! So Garlic, Garlic Pepper with a Twist of Lime and Sunset Seasoned Salt. Add chopped onion, sliced mushrooms and • 3 - 3 ½ lbs. (1.36-1.59 kg) boneless Worcestershire sauce. In a slow cooker, place roast. Pour seasoning/ beef chuck roast onions/mushrooms mixture over top. Cook, covered on low 6-8 hours • 1 cup warm water or until meat is tender. Remove roast to serving platter when done; tent • 1 Tbsp. beef bouillon with foil. Strain cooking juices, reserving vegetables. Skim fat from juices. • 2 Tbsp. Oh! So Garlic In a large saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Stir in flour and salt • 1 tsp. Garlic Pepper with a Twist of Lime until smooth; gradually whisk in cooking juices. Bring to a boil, stirring • 1 tsp. Sunset Seasoned Salt constantly; cook and stir 1-2 minutes or until thickened. Stir in cooked • 1 large onion, coarsely chopped vegetables. Serve with roast and potatoes.

Add chopped onion, sliced mushrooms and Worcestershire sauce. Place roast into large Ziploc bag and pour contents of seasonings/onions/mushrooms mixture over top. Seal, secure Cooking Instructions and freeze.
