After its restoration, today, Bastakiya is known as a hub for tourists to visit - art cafes, museums and sculptures.
On approaching the site one can observe an invisible barrier of ISOLATION, that barricades the working community from the new tourist neighbourhood of Bastakiya from the rest of Bur Dubai.
