Vertical Gradient

Journey through the vertical gradient from reflective, ideative to productive.

Cleansing the minds of a visitor before they grasp new information, finally giving them them the creative space for liberation of ideas.

The user experience begins at the Line of Control - once the visitor taps out of the metro station, he is taken into an under ground channel into the reflective zone.

The reflective functions here allows the user to enter a zone of mental cleanse where they are exposed to functions that trigger healing and peace.

The next zone of ideative functions allow the users that are now mentally calm, to pick up concepts and grasp ideas better.

The final spatial experience involves being in contact with natural elements for productive isolation.

Through the section, the impact of the built elements dusrupting the existing landforms through height is quite evident.

This disruption results in three scenarios :

- THE UNDERGROUND coccooned atmosphere, complete isolation from surroundings, free to create, without external disruptions, distrubances

- THE GROUND hosts some interactions with surrounding site

- THE SKY isolation with the added elements of views, water, sky

Experimenting with barnacles -

The adaptive nature of barnacles has been applied to this facade to test what happens at these junctions of where the interior of the building meets the exterior atmosphere.

The possible use of spaces at this intersection.

UNDERGROUND

Reflective, the luxury of being able to impose a new feeling as this space is completely isolated as is

ON GROUND

Productive functions that liberate and creat an impact, receptive to surrounding activities
