The magazine was inspired by the stories of affluent Black women Fancy encountered while trying to find her way as a mom, college student at Southern University A&M, server, and exotic dancer. While on this journey, she experienced homelessness and discovered her bipolar disorder, but she has not allowed that to stop her from growing the business to over 100K years and building a team of five.
