Aptly titled as “The Boulevard” this 112 acre project on the outskirts of Pune is conceived as a mixed use township with an overall program of 7,500 residential units ranging in type from affordable to luxury segment, a towncenter with commercial and retail space and amenity space totalling 17 acres which will include a school, hospital, hotels and a sport medicine/wellness center.
The project aims to become a model for sustainable development in Pune by promoting an environment in which walkability, transit and over 15 acres of open spaces which are prioritized over automobiles. The overall Masterplan is organized around a multi-lane “grand boulevard” inspired by the boulevards of Paris but redesigned to reflect the local context. The boulevard will be complemented by a storefronts and restaurants with well-connected pedestrian paths and public spaces including a plaza at the towncenter. Collectively, these elements will deliver a strong sense of place and community.
