Masterplanned as one of the Maharashtra’s first fully planned agricultural community, 350 acre Urban Harvest project would be fully centered on organic farming, growing of food, support and maintenance of farms through an organized co-operative.
The project will primarily focus on urban dwellers looking for a retreat into nature and are passionate about growing their own produce. The business model looks to provide Organic farming plots with Cabins/Cottages, animal sheds and stables and informal sitting areas with a dedicated agricultural support through a co-operative which will maintain the farms and provide services for the maintenance and upkeep of the farm plots. The agricultural community will also consist complimentary areas such as animal farms, a visitor’s center, horseback trail, health and wellness center amidst farms and more importantly a market square which will house weekly farmers market, culinary school, organic restaurant and a farmers/members co-operative.
