A childâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;s first steps into a new world are always shaky. But the affection he recieves from evryone around him gives him the courage to move ahead fearlessly. This affection and aaceptance stays with us even when we are grow -up and helps us face new things throughout

Mowgli was lost by his parents in the Indian jungle during a tiger attack, he was adopted by the wolves Mother (Raksha) and Father Wolf, who called him Mowgli the Frog because of his furlessness. Shere Khan the tiger demanded that they give him the baby but the wolves refused. Mowgli grew up with the pack, hunting with his brother wolves. Bagheera befriended Mowgli, partly because Mowgli, being a human, had the power of dominion over beasts: Bagheera could not withstand Mowgli’s gaze. Also, as Bagheera often mentioned, he was “raised in the King’s cages at Oodeypore” from a cub, and thus knew the ways of man. Baloo the bear, teacher of wolves, had the thankless task of educating Mowgli in The Law of the Jungle.

A CHILD HOLDS NO BOUNDARIES WHEN OFFERED AFFECTION A wolf accustomed to moving his own cubs can, if necessary, mouth an egg without breaking it, and though Father Wolf’s jaws closed right on the child’s back not a tooth even scratched the skin, as he laid it down among the little cubs beside the mother.

It is uncertain if Mowgli was in reality the returned Nathoo or not. while Messua would like to believe that her son has returned, she herself realised that this was unlikely.While herding buffalo for the village Mowgli learns that the tiger was still planning to kill him, so with the aid of two wolves he trapped Shere Khan in a ravine, where the buffalo trampled him. The tiger died and Mowgli sets to skin him. Seeing this, a jealous hunter goaded the villagers into persecuting Mowgli and his adopted parents as witches. Mowgli ran back to the jungle with Shere Khan’s hide but soon learns that the villagers were planning to kill Messua and her husband, so he rescued them and sent elephants,buffalo and others.

I LEARNED THAT COURAGE WAS NOT THE ABSENCE OF FEAR, BUT THE TRIUMPH OVER IT. THE BRAVE MAN IS NOT WHO DOES NOT FEEL AFRAID, BUT HE WHO CONQUERS THAT FEAR.

THE BARE NECESSITIES OF LIFE WILL COME TO YOU IF ONLY SOMEONE GIVES YOU THAT PINCH OF AFFECTION. The first two stories starring Mowgli show him being raised by the Wolves and his mentors, Bagheera and Baloo. Together, they teach him to survive, and Baloo makes him learn all the “Master-Words” so that he can communicate to any creature in the jungle. And what does this get Mowgli? It gets him expelled from the Wolf Pack. See, most of the wolves aren’t that bright, and they let themselves be manipulated by Shere Khan into voting Mowgli off the island—err, out of the jungle. So Mowgli goes to live with other humans. He cries when he leaves the jungle: “I do not know what this is. Am I dying, Bagheera?”, he weeps. Animals, like big boys and baseball players, don’t cry, so this show of human emotion is strange for Mowgli. Mowgli is an outsider in the world of man, too, though—the kid just can’t catch a break. He has to learn the rules of man and their language, because the villagers think he is “as silly and dumb” with them “as a man would be in the Jungle. Of course, they mean dumb as in silent, not stupid; Mowgli is far from stupid. The villagers on the other hand are just as bright as the wolves, so they kick Mowgli out as well after he kills Shere Khan and defies the village’s top hunter.After being rejected by both his tribes, Mowgli ventures into the jungle basically by himself, and must survive as a true lone wolf. Shere Khan continued to regard.

The law of the Jungle, which never orders anything without reason, forbids every beast to eat man. The reason for this is that man-killing means sooner or later that men will come with guns and set the grass alight, and hundreds of men will scour the jungle for the killer with gongs and rockets and torches. Then, everybody in the jungle suffers.

Father Wolf: The wolves are a free people. They take orders from the head of the pack, and not from any striped cattle killer. The Man’s Cub is ours, to kill if we choose. Shere Khan: You choose and you do not choose! Tabaqui the Jackal: What is this talk of choosing, O master?

Shere Khan: Am I to stand nosing into your dog’s den for my fair dues? Tabaqui the Jackal: Fair dues! Shere Khan: It is I, Shere Khan who speaks! Mother Wolf: And it is I, Raksha the demon who answer. The Man’s Cub is mine - mine to me! He shall not be killed. He shall live to run with the pack, and to hunt with the pack! And in the end, look you, hunter of little naked cubs, frog eater, he shall hunt you. Now get hence, back to your starved cattle, branded beast of the jungle! Go!

The Law of the Jungle, which never orders anything without a reason, forbids every beast to eat Man except when he is killing to show his children how to kill, and then he must hunt outside the hunting grounds of his pack or tribe. The real reason for this is that man-killing means, sooner or later, the arrival of white men on elephants, with guns, and hundreds of brown men with gongs and rockets and torches. The Law of the Jungle lays down that if there is any dispute as to the right of a cub to be accepted by the Pack, he must be spoken for by at least two members of the Pack who are not his father and mother. The Law of the Jungle says that if there is a doubt which is not a killing matter in regard to a new cub, the life of that cub may be bought at a price. As I was sitting outside this morning sipping my coffee and watching the sun climb over the horizon, I looked down and saw a curved stick on the ground that reminded me of a boomerang. Suddenly I was caught up in memories of me as a kid playing for hours on end in my grandfather’s backyard with a small wooden boomerang he had given to me as a gift. Remember when you were a kid, how fascinated you were with boomerangs? (At least I was) You take this flat, curved piece of wood and throw it and then watch in amazement as it curves around in the air and comes right back to you.As ‘miraculous’ as that seemed when we were kids, I’ve found that most of our life is like that. Whatever we throw out there, comes back to us.

If you smile at someone, in almost every case, they will smile back. Try it now with someone nearby and see if it works. If you’re kind toward someone, they will usually be kind in return. Of course, this also works in the other direction.If you complain to someone, they will share their complaints with you. In fact, you may quickly find yourself in a subtle competition to see who is more miserable. If you get angry at someone, they will usually get angry with you. And so on.The fact is, whatever you decide to throw out into the world will usually circle around and land right back at your feet, much like the boomerangs we played with as kids.I have a choice about what I decide to throw out into my world. I have a choice about what I want to land at my feet?

So today and for as many days afterwards as you want, make a conscious choice about what you want to throw out into the world. By doing this, you will be making a choice about what is going to come back and land at your feet. Remember the boomerang and that whatever you throw out there, will come back to you many times over. But here’s the good news and this is really the miraculous part, we actually get more back than what we throw out there. Plant a seed and you don’t just get one seed back. You get hundreds - maybe even thousands!Remember the boomerang and that whatever you throw out there, will come back to you many times over.

We live in a boomerang world If you want more joy throw it out there to someone else and watch it miraculously come back to you. It even works with money. Need money? Give some away. The spiritual leaders from the beginning of time have been telling us this, but most of us are afraid to believe it.It works in just about every area of our life. When we give something away, when we throw it out there it comes back to us.But here’s the good news and this is really the miraculous part, we actually get more back than what we throw out there. Tomorrow is the most important thing in life. Comes into us at midnight very clean. It’s perfect when it arrives and it puts itself in our hands. It hopes we’ve learned something from yesterday.
