Vegan Cherry-Chocolate Cheesecake Sundae

8 each Sysco Simply Plant Based Cheesecake – Chocolate 2 cups coconut whipped topping 1 cup dark chocolate chunks ½ cup Sysco Classic sliced almonds

Warm Sweet Cherry Compote 2 cups Sysco Classic frozen pitted cherries, thawed 1/3 cup Sysco Classic granulated sugar 2 tablespoons cherry liqueur 1 tablespoon Sysco Natural lemon juice

METHOD

Warm Sweet Cherry Compote: Heat all ingredients and 1/3 cup water to a simmer in a saucepan over medium-high heat, stirring occasionally; reduce heat to low and simmer until cherries burst and mixture is thickened, about 15 minutes. Makes about 2 cups.

To serve, garnish the Sysco Simply Plant Based Cheesecake – Chocolate with warm sweet cherry compote, whipped topping, chocolate and almonds.
