Tacoma Community College

Tacoma Community College is located in Tacoma, Washington. It serves the city of Tacoma and the Pierce County portion of the Kitsap Peninsula. Approximately 15,000 students attend TCC each year. Campus Locations: main campus in west Tacoma, Gig Harbor Peninsula campus, Madison School, The Evergreen State College-Tacoma, Washington Corrections Center for Women, and Mission Creek Corrections Center for Women. TCC offers 52 state-approved professional/technical programs. Creation of the college was authorized by voters in 1962, and it opened in fall 1965. As of 2009, nearly 1/2 million students have attended TCC since its opening. Tacoma Community College (TCC) is accredited by the Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities.
