In this month’s Home magazine, we look at the allure of the Labyrinth. Taos has its share of labyrinths dedicated to personal and world peace. Some are in public locations, or private places you can visit with permission. Taos homeowners have built their own labyrinths for use in seasonal celebrations and walking reflection. Inside find a beautiful assortment of Labyrinth’s built at Taos Inns and local homes.
Our feature home this month is located 50 miles west of Taos in El Rito. The 3,800-square-foot sustainable, artesian-built straw bale house is eco-friendly. The 10-acre property includes a guest house with raised gardens, a goat pin and chicken yard, but it’s the house on the hill made of straw that radiates energy, intention and even history.
