Name: Mamta Pagare Course: Beauty Advisor Batch: 1 / 2019-20 Mamta Pagare a Bengali girl born and brought up in Birpara. After completing Bachelor of Arts from Birpara College, she wanted to support her family. She moved to Bangalore and started working in local salon as beautician for 2 years. She got married in 2017 and had to shift Pune. A very shy girl had entered into fast- paced world. Lots of changes, responsibilities and challenges were waiting for her that she wasn’t even aware of. She started moulding herself into the new environment with different culture, different language and of course with new family. With tears beneath her smile, and a heart so pure that bleeds from inside, she started her journey. Her journey started with nine family members. She realized that, her family needs her financial support. Her hunt for new job began and stopped when she came to know about Tata STRIVE. She already had basic knowledge of beauty culture, she decided to enroll herself for Beauty Advisor course.

Placement with Employer: Designation:

She had to complete household work of her nine family members including her eight month old child. She used to travel for an hour from Dehu road to centre. During training initially she was very shy and reticent, as the training progressed she started expressing herself. She expresses herself, ”I learnt so many things in domain training like Make up, Skin analysis, Report maintaining and specially customer interaction. YDM was helpful to amplify my confidence level, to change my attitude towards professional life and coaching gave me a third perspective to look at my challenges and solve it by my own” Her problem was her accent and pronunciation. She was trying to develop herself in all perspectives that are required for Beauty Advisor Profile. In L’Oréal product training she gave her 100 percent and proved herself in theory exam, practical exam and product knowledge. She got selected as Beauty Advisor in L’Oréal’s Brand i.e. Maybelline.
