Hi Friend, Here’s wishing you & your families a very Happy & prosperous 2020! Automobile Sector in India is witnessing a low phase and as per the newspaper reports, on one end the Passenger Vehicles sales have dipped against the Commercial vehicle which have shown a positive movement. After the inception of TSSDC Pune, we have worked and partnered with various NGOs and foundations in Pune primarily for mobilization along with different activities for social contribution. Over the years, we got introduced to various different NGOs and Foundations working for youth in Pune and strengthened our bond with many NGO Partners. However, during our discussions on different platforms, we felt the need to gather on a common platform to discuss and understand each others strengths on a regular basis. With this need in mind 1st ever such NGO-Foundation Meet was organized
at TSSDC, Pune where various NGOs working in youth development sector were invited. Anta Rajan, CEO Tata STRIVE gave a welcome note to all the partners through a video recorded message for this event. We received many ideas and suggestions to work upon along with our partners. It was indeed a good step towards thinking in a new direction and collaborating together for the common goal with innovation in mind. The partners received a Tulsi Sapling as a token of gratitude. A few glimpses of the event. The program was led by Shruti Rajurakar, Facilitator BDE.

I’m ecstatic to devote a few lines towards Pune Adventist Hospital. It has a spectacular journey from 1976 till date. To enunciate, it was initiated as a Dispensary and today it stands as one of the renowned hospital which is well equipped with many specialized departments. I find it inspiring! Dr. Philip, Dr. Rohini, Dr. Timothy, Mr. Anup Halder and all other respective team members who were assiduous towards the growth of this organization. It has been Pune Adevntist Hospital our privilege to provide our General duty assistant leaners for Practical training under expertise from the hospital. About General duty assistant It is a 3-month Nursing assistant course with minimum 10th pass as the Qualification with 8week classroom & 1 month of hands on training. It covers Patient Personal Hygiene, Vitals, Tubal feeding, Patient Monitoring etc. On job training is an absolute requirement to have exposure in the medical setups in order to strengthen their knowledge and confidence. And our learners get to experience the same at Adventist. I would like to write about Mrs. Maloti Tujare, who is the Nursing Superintendent at the Adventist. A person with vision who has contributed 37 years in this system and to its glorious success. So far, more than 100 learners have completed their OJT, under her guidance. This wouldn’t have been possible without her support. Mrs. Tujare with the learners of GDA Batch12 in the Hospital handing over her a Thank You Card on the last day of their OJT. She states, “It’s my pleasure to be assoGDA learners during their OJT ciated with TATA STRIVE who is vehemently empowering youth for the future. I’m elated to extend our support on this journey with TATA STRIVE.” Mrs. Maloti Tujare was present in our Graduation Day Ceremony in April’19. Seen with her in the pic is Samir Nabar, Regional Lead (PE) welcoming her with a token of gratitude. At last I would conclude with, “Time alone doesn’t depict someone’s growth but the determination and the dedication.” Mrs. Maloti Tujare a t Ta ta STRIVE - Vishwas Rajput GDA Facilitator

Prajakta Mundhekarakta belongs to a lower middle class family from Hadapsar (Pune). Her family includes father, mother and 3 Siblings. Her father was the only working member in her family. Educating all 4 kids was getting difficult for her father. It was difficult for him to fulfill the basic needs of the family. Due to financial reasons she realized that it won’t be possible for her father to pay for her further education so she started taking tuition classes for small kids at home to arrange money for her further studies. She completed her BSC in Electronics on her own.
the class she shared that this is the first time in her lifetime she spoke anything in front of people. During her rigorous training of Android, she gained confidence in herself. YDM helped her to communicate effectively and to manage relationships and plan in an organized way. Despite of being an Electronic stream student, she picked up new concepts quickly with her sharp grasping skills and cultivated growth mindset to learn new. Prajakta says, “When I went for an interview I had confidence that I'll crack it because Chandan sir told us that we will not give you a job in your hands, but will make you ready to earn it yourself”. Her Parents found a lot of confidence in Prajakta and they were happy about this positive change.
She came to know about TATA strive from one of her friend Sandhya Chavan who she met at Light house. It was her first time when she has to travel alone from Hadapsar to TATA Strive Center. Her confidence was too low to be here alone. Her At Present she is working in WNS as an Associate friend guided her with the transportations as well. operations with a package of 2.25 LPA.
