International Day of Yoga: Yoga Day celebration

In collaboration with

From the Desk of Editor Hi, June month talks a lot about giving; giving back to the nature, giving back to the society. 5th June 2019 which the world celebrated the World Environment Day, we too at Tata STRIVE Pune, did our bit to plant around 100 trees saplings at strategic locations. Tata STRIVE team managed to plant close to 1160 saplings in June month at their respective locations, across India, which averages to around 3 saplings per Employee. There is a lot of talk happening around environment, growing more trees, saving water and we do see many initiatives that people are driving to save the planet from the repercussions of depleting resources. Use of sustainable sources of energy, conserving available energy, optimum use of available resources and promotion of renewable sources of energy have gained pivotal importance as many nations have started witnessing the situation when nature throws back. Its about time, we start practicing more of this as a routine of our lives, only then can we give back to the nature. Resources will always have a expiry date and it becomes very important for us to realize this now. This edition will also talk about the World Blood Donor Day organised at the Center. June 14th is celebrated as World Blood donor day. As many as 44 donors including 30 first time donors did their bit to give back to the Society! It's very encouraging to see such a huge response and talks a lot about what the learners imbibe at the Center. Have a good read!

Think about it It's important to celebrate your failures as much as your successes. If you celebrate your failures really well, and if you get to the motto and say, 'Wow, I failed, I tried, I was wrong, I learned something,' then you realize you have no fear, and when your fear goes away, you can move the world.
