Open Oasis Vacation Resort I wanted to design a vacation resort for all types people. I have come to realize that there are people that wish to travel with family members that can find it dificult to do so. Some people have physical disabilities which should be concidered when designing, but what about the people that have mental or sensory disabilities? For some designs we think about accoutics, some we think about the use of color and pattern but that is not thinking of how a certain group of people would react to the space. This what I wanted to acchive with this project. I wanted to make inclusive design truly designing for everyone.
Next Life NEXT LIFE is inspired by the regenerative propertiesof coral reefs. In the same way that we help coral reefs heal and regenerate, NEXT LIFE believes we can apply the same amount of care to our own lives on order to prioritize wellness and rejuvenation. Scope: Plan and design NEXT’s new satellite office space, measuring approximately 11,500 sf. Do not plan,design or alter building core elements, such as restrooms, elevators, stairs, and utility rooms labeledNIC (Not in Contract) which are shaded on the floorplan.

Wellbeing: Wellbeing is a guiding principle when designing for the Post-Pandemic workplace. The new NEXT space should approach wellbeing in a holistic way, considering not only the physical needs of employees but also their emotional and cognitive needs. Offer a variety of postures such that users may stand, sit, lounge, and walk throughout the day. Finally, be sure to shape an environment that supports positive emotions, employs meaningful safety factors, fosters a connection between users, their in-person as well as remote colleagues, and the NEXT organization.
Jewel Micro Apartments Description: Create a micro apartment layout using the WELL Building standards thinking of the people that will we living there. The target audience for micro-apartments is single twenty-somethings with relativel lucrative jobs in the city. Micro-apartments are smaller-than-average studios intended for a single resident. Ultra-efficient design packs a kitchen, bathroom, and other necessities into a unit of 200 to 400 square feet, while high ceilings and large windows create the illusion of space. Young renters generally stay for a year or two as they start a new job or move to a new city, then move on to larger units.Millennials are less inclined to stay in one location or one career in the long-term. They’re waiting longer to settle down, so they’re living alone longer. They want to live, work, and play in the heart of the city. The best-case scenario is to find a studio apartment in a vibrant neighborhood that’s convenient to work, and also allows them to spend their free time how they choose.
Concept: My concept is more than meets the eye. This using the idea of a chameleon and how they change color. This is also how the walls have storage with things hidden inside, like the bed.
Balance Digestive Health Clinic Inspired by balancing rocks and yoga, this clinic provides a calm, serene and peaceful environment to promote healing. I did this with a light and bright colors and utilizing natural light. I wanted the space to look clean but not institutional. The essence of the space should feel like a spa with light colors and the use of environmental graphics.
