Design Concept: Water. Not only is it an essential nutrient for all of nature and our surrounding environment, it’s very important for human beings too. It helps us survive, but more importantly, it allows for present and future growth. In life there is constant ups and downs, but in the end you have to have balance. Through its energy, regulation, and ever flowing flexibility and movement, water creates balance through a journey of self care, self reflection, and overall self improvement. Taking this idea of water, NEXT uses it as inspiration to help define and drive its business and company office. Through the use of guided meditation, relaxation and sleep aids, and educational classes and articles, NEXT blends the true essence of water, technology, and design together to create one’s own personal journey of self discovery and self improvement.

Rooted
Design Concept: Rooted is a new health clinic that specializes in gastroenterology. Here, we have created a space, inspired by the enviornment around us, to enhance ones feelings of ease and tranquility throughout their medical experience. At Rooted, our mission of designing to heal and nurturing through nature can be seen through our use of regional plant boxes and soft, natural materials and finishes. Each design element throughout the facility encourages distraction and allows all users of the space to feel welcome and comfortable during their visit.
