e1.5m funding boost for library Full plans on display at Terence MacSwiney Community College FINE GAEL councillor Joe O’Callaghan has welcomed the grant of â‚Ź1.5 million by the Department of the Environment, Community and Local Government for the development of a new library in Knocknaheeny. “The new library will be built on the grounds of Terence MacSwiney Community College and work should start this summer,â€? he said. “This will be a wonderful building with the library having two separate functions, the library itself as a series of connected but identifiable spaces centred around the main desk, and a multi-purpose community space which can be accessed independently from the library outside normal hours. “All library functions will be on the ground floor area as a single story building with community
