Crunch time for Kidney RUGBY
IRELAND’S RBS 6 Nations game against Scotland tomorrow in Edinburgh may well decide Declan Kidney’s (above) future as Ireland coach. Win and Kidney’s gamble of playing two debutants, Paddy Jackson at out-half and Luke Marshall at first centre, in key positions will have paid off. Lose and Ireland are out of the running for the Six Nations Championship. That loss will severely weaken Kidney’s hand as he goes in search of a new contract with his current one running out at the end of the season. Meanwhile, Felix Jones and James Downey return to the Munster starting XV to face Benetton Treviso at Stadio di Monigo tomorrow. MUNSTER: F Jones; D Hurley, C Laulala, J Downey, J Murphy; I Keatley, D Williams; W du Preez, M Sherry capt, S Archer; I Nagle, B Holland; P Butler, T O'Donnell, J Coughlan. Replacements: D Varley, J Ryan, BJ Botha, D Foley, CJ Stander, C Sheridan, JJ Hanrahan, I Dineen.
