JAMES COUGHLAN will lead Munster out in the first of their Christmas back to back derbies against Connacht tomorrow night at the Sportsground and the Mayfield man believes his side’s season may come down to how well they go over the next five weeks, writes SEAN McCARTHY. The host Ulster on Saturday week in Thomond then play Cardiff in Musgrave Park before going back into back-to-back Heineken Cup clashes against Edinburgh and Racing Metro. “It’s a massive five weeks for the club, the derby games are always massive occasions,” Coughlan said. “If we don’t get what we want out of the next five weeks we’re going to be struggling for the top four and won’t have qualified for the Heineken Cup.” Rob Penney has rung the changes, with Coughlan one of five players to retain their place from Sunday’s defeat to Saracens.
