Corian® Exteriors For exterior wall cladding applications, Corian® is typically installed as a ventilated rain screen façade. Ventilated façades are designed to breath with a space between the cladding and the outer wall. Corian® Exteriors panels are mechanically fixed to substructure fixed to the external wall of the building.
Features and Benefits of the material • Extra large panels can be easily built up by adhering standard panels with inconspicuous reinforced seams. • Durable, long-lasting • Panels can be repaired rather than replaced • No pores to trap dirt. Even covered with the most difficult dirt and graffiti, the panels can be restored to their original appearance by cleaning and sanding. • Resistant to humidity, bacteria, fungi, salt fog and sulfur dioxide • UV stable • Excellent resistance to wind loads • Colors run through the entire thickness, so edges are the same color as the rest of the sheet and there are no black gaps. • Compatible with typical building components, structural silicone and sealants • Ventilated façade allows for thicker insulation and therefore may lower energy costs. • Low flame spread • Low smoke generation • Does not melt in case of fire • When burnt, does not emit toxic gases • Annual cleaning only with water and detergents

Marks and stains stay on the surface and can easily be removed with a household cleaner. • Nonporous: Corian® is nonporous and hygienic. Its smooth surface does not allow liquids to penetrate and that makes it easy to clean. Bacteria and mold have nowhere to take root. When Corian® looks clean, it really is clean. • Repairable: Corian® surfaces are renewable and inherently environmentally friendly. Heavy stains and scratches can be erased without a trace simply by rubbing with household cleaner. • Seamless: Color-coordinated Joint Adhesive bonds Corian® solid surface with inconspicuous seams. This results in a smooth surface that enables you to create large designs fashioned from a single element. The seamless look of integrated Corian® countertops, sinks, and coved backsplashes also means there are no crevices to trap dirt and bacteria. • Sustainable: Corian® Solid Surface has been certified to be free from dangerous chemicals (GreenGuard Gold, Red List) and with very low Volatile Organic Compounds to contribute to cleaner air and to Greenbuilding certification.
