Hey you! Yeah you reading this magazine. these are the editors speaking and we want you to thank the cooperating classmates of 7-a for paricipating and we really hope that you like our magazine. We all know 2020 has turned out to be a little, actually a lot, dicey. We thought it would be the best year with so many things coming up, unfortunately one of those things was covid. We have been forced to stay home, away from friends and relatives, and it has been going on for quite a long time. But hey, it wasn't as bad as you think, you did learn a lot of thing online and you could still share great moments with your friends through games. Take a flip through this magazine to cure your wrecked nerves and enjoy the creativity of the class mates. The thing is, be positive, be brave and be safe.This magazine was possible thanks to the help of the

Nauman Asif 7A Australian wildfires Australia faced one of its worst fire seasons in history beginning in 2019 and continuing into 2020 — which riveted the world as flames burned a record 47 million acres, displaced thousands of people and killed at least 34. Researchers said the fires also razed rare habitats and killed more than a billion animals. Death of Kobe Bryant NBA legend Kobe Bryant was killed in a helicopter crash in Calabasas, California, along with his 13-year-old daughter Gianna and seven others, on Jan. 26. COVID-19 pandemic In late February of 2020, The World Health Organization increased its risk assessment of the novel coronavirus to its highest level. The virus, which started in China in December 2019, had by that point spread to dozens of countries. Death of George Floyd George Floyd was killed on May 25 by a Minneapolis police officer who used his knee to pin Floyd’s neck to the ground. The killing of a Black man at the hands of a white officer touched off protests against racism and police brutality across the United States and around the world. Jack And The Mysterious Bean stalk By Haja Hilal
Once upon a time there was a little boy called Jack. He lived with his mother. They were very poor. All they had was a cow and a little hut. One morning, Jacks mother told Jack to take their cow and sell her. While Jack was on the way to the market, he met an old man. He gave Jack some magic beans so he could get the cow. Jack to the beans and went home. When Jacks mother saw the beans she was so angry that she took the beans and threw them out the window then walked away. The next morning, Jack Looked out the widow and there it was. He saw the biggest beanstalk ever. He went outside and started to climb the beanstalk. He climbed all the way up to the sky through the clouds. Then, Jack saw a beautiful castle. He went inside. Suddenly, Jack heard a voice. 'Fee, Fi, Fo, Fom! 'jack ran as fast as he could into a cupboard. An enormous giant came into the room and sat down . On the table there was a hen und a golden harp . ' Lay ! ' said the giant . The hen . Laid an egg . It was made of gold . ' Sing ! ' said the giant . The harp began to sing . Soon Later the giant was asleep . Jack jumped out of the cupboard . He tried to steal the hen , and the golden harp but the harp sang , " Help , master ! The master / giant woke up and started to look around the castle Looking for them.cause they were no longer where they were usually kept . He looked around for around five to ten minutes until he found Jack trying to escape with the hen and harp . He locked up Jack in a secret room which was all the way in the back of the castle . He kept the keys with him at all times . The room was completely empty . It had absolutely nothing in it .

She went around the whole neighbourhood asking if they'd seen him . With no luck she returned home . She then got the idea of putting up fliers of him with all of the details. She went to the local mall area got the fliers and put them up. She got calls about someone who looks like him but it wasn't him unfortunately, Meanwhile, Jack had no idea that any of this chaos was happening. Then he was looking around and found a room. He shouted, 'Mother, Help me! '. Jacks mother took an ax and chopped down the beanstalk while the giant was on it. The giant fell and crashed to the ground. Nobody ever saw him after that. Jacks mother brought a ladder and got Jack down from the castle. He managed to get the hen, golden eggs, and the magic harp. Jack and his mother were now rich and lived happily ever after.
To The Rescue Nauman Asif
One fine day in England, in a shooting training center,there was man named Tom Wellington. Tom was a highly trained Black ops specialist agent who was training for a war in Russia, which will be after one year. Tom Wellington was the most courageous man in the team. He had faith and strong will, he also trained his students who were also known as “Black ops apprentices�. While Tom was testing his students of aiming a gun, he saw that one of his students fainted as they were training in cold weather. The Ambulance came in and tookhim to the hospital which was at least two hours away.Tom was very confused as he was also one of the best scientists in England, so he stopped the Ambulance, he told them to shift the patient into a sperate center where they could examine him as he was contagious. While they were studying him, Tom found out about a type of virus called Ebola. Tom told everyone that it is a disease caught from meat but it can also spread from person to person. Ebola germs can spread into body and make us all sick, so we all should not come close or touch the body. So, he warned everyone about this disease and said we all should be careful and take precautionary measures. The incoming week, Tom noticed that he was suffering with a terrible fever, fatigue and vomiting. At the same night, he died in a terrible condition. So, next was to bury the contagious body to protect the other soldiers. Tom sprayed the body with chlorine to destroy the germs.
Then, he decided to travel around the world to find an antidote for this virus, otherwise Ebola will spread. First, he travels alone to Paris to find an antidote but unfortunately, there is no sign of any antidote related to this type of Virus. Then Tom travels to Turkey. Once he reaches Turkey, Tom asks people for an antidote, the people were not aware of this virus before. But Tom got a clue from somewhere that Japan was the place to go. So, he traveled to Japan Once he reached Japan successfully, he finds a man following him. As Tom is an agent, he takes out his gun and tries to protect himself. The stranger said that, ”Can we talk in a private place?”, Tom agreed with him as they were in public. The stranger took him to his secret cabin hidden inside the walls of an ancient building. The stranger said “You see, I think I know a bit about you. Aren’t you that agent?” Tom unsure of how the man knows him. “Yes, and who may I ask are you?” The stranger said that his name is Lou Chang . Lou told to Tom to trust him. “I have a cure for the virus you are searching for. But I want something in exchange”. Tom was confused. “How did you know I was searching for the cure? Who exactly are you?” the priest chuckled.
WRECKED!!! By Duaa Naveed
‘This is going to be the best trip ever', is what we thought when we boarded the ship. My name’s John Ryley, and me and my best friend, Sam Horace, were going on a cruise (with our parents) for a week. The ship had an enormous deck and board. There was an arcade and even a hiking wall, with our very own personal apartments. Sam’s the type who’s interested in nature, sports, hiking etc. I’m more of a reader, junk-food eater and game-whiz. It all happened when we were setting of the fireworks on the giant deck. We’re 14 years old really, so we took turns lighting them. It was Sam’s turn when we heard a giant ‘BAM!’. It turned out that one of the fireworks had crashed into the ship. We were sinking fast. Screaming everywhere. And the life boats were stuck under deck where the ship had already sunk! Me and Sam hung onto the rail tor dear life. The ship was down. We were still clinging the rail and floating. Next moment everything went black. When I woke up, I was on a sandy shore. Sam was still unconscious. I went over to him and woke him up. He gasped and stuttered awake. It was morning time, and behind the shore lay a thick forest with vines, snakes and fruit trees. We were shocked and sat completely still. When finally, Sam gasped “Our parents are dead!”, and he burst out crying. I wanted to do the same, we were in the worst possible scenario. No boat, no food, on a deserted island, no parents, no clothes and no inhabitants. I told Sam “Come on, let’s explore a bit, and let’s collect some food, too.” So, we explored the forest. It was a thick, dense jungle of vines, trees and caves. And it was extremely hot. We had some fruits, but they were extremely dusty. Sam also suggested carrying dry wood because the night would be cold. We didn’t go too far in, and when we decided to turn back, it started raining! And, Oh the rain was so heavy, we couldn’t see where we were going.
Luckily, Sam spotted (He's really the outdoor type) a cave a few yards in front of us. So, we headed for it. It was dry as a desert in there. Sam started to set the wood in a pyramid shape, while saying, “We’re going to spend the night here so better get comfortable”. We ate some fruits and slept on the sandpaper ground, in the extremely cold night. In the morning, we woke up extremely early because we saw a strange man hovering above us. Maybe, the island had an inhabitant! I saw him from my first glance that he was a dark man, with dark, African styled hair. He was wearing torn jeans, but a really cool, green hoodie, made of seaweed. He asked us, in a heavily accented voice, “And who are you, of the great sea?”. We replied to him that we were kids who had just survived a shipwreck. He told us, “Well, would you like to meet The Tribe?”. More inhabitants! We agreed immediately. He took us through the jungle, to the opposite end of the island, on the shore. We saw all around us that there was a tribe here. There were huts made of trees. The people were clothed in large leaves and they were all dark. The first man, whose name was Carth, introduced us to the tribe leader Bala. He was also wearing a seaweed hoodie. He welcomed us pleasantly “Welcome, oh unfortunate cruisers, we shall try to make you home as possible, in our beachy haven!”. And he was as true as his word! We got to sleep in a lovely cool hut, all to our own. We ate fresh fruits every day. We got fresh leaved clothes and hot baths whenever we wanted. We weren’t treated like honorary guests, but like Angel’s from the heavens! One night I had a horrible suspicion that they were cannibals, as they were so nice to us. I woke up Sam at the dead of night and explained him my theory. Sam only groaned, “Don’t be stupid, these people only eat fish and fruits, I asked Carth yesterday. Let me sleep.” This comforted me enough. Things were looking great.
Then one day, after we had another hot bath. There was an announcement in the tribe. Bala announced “In two days time, we take our ship, ‘The Yala' which is behind the white rocks, and set five of our bravest, and honourable tribesmen xt to explore the utter west with our guests, to return them to their homes.” I was so excited and happy, I danced. Sam had the exact same reaction. That night, I went to the hut with a fuller heart, than the day I had boarded our cruise-ship. I was turning the corner, when I heard Cartha say “Finally the boy shall die! After 20 years! We shall be free!” My heart was pounding. I had to tell Sam. We needed to escape. These people weren’t going to help us. They wanted to kill us. I was suddenly so sweaty. Then, I did the hardest thing I’ve ever done in my entire life. I walked in front of them, as casually as I could towards my hut, and whistled a cheery, “Good night”. They looked kind of startled, but managed to reply calmly, “Good night”. I went to the hut and told him everything I heard. He looked so surprised, even more than me. I then whispered ‘Come on, we haven’t a moment to lose. Let’s go!’. I started packing some food and water in a giant leaf. He looked at me and slowly went towards the door. “Sam, what are you doing? Come on let’s go!” Then I froze. He was wearing a hood, too. I felt dizzy. We were friends for six years. He was one of them. He wanted to kill me. I choked, “You're one of them, aren’t you?” Sam was. I made for the door. And headed for the ship. But, to my horror, I heard an alarm. It was, I knew, to find me. I remembered what Bala said, “The Yala, which is behind the white rocks...” So I went to the boat.
Oh! What a large ship it was. I headed on board as fast as I could. Then to my utter horror, I saw the WHOLE TRIBE was behind me. 500 yards away from me. I didn’t know how to drive a ship, so it would be useless to me. I then saw from the corner of my eye, a coracle. It was attached to a bit of wood, which I lowered to the ground. I hopped off the ship, and took the sharpest white rock I could see and banged it to the ship several times. My hand was bleeding a lot, but there was a giant hole in the ship. The villagers were only 50 yards away from me. I hopped into the coracle. Then, I heard Bala scream, “After him, start swimming, you useless idiots, the ship is damaged.” I started rowing. I’ve never done it before, but I’ve read books in which other people have. After 5 hours, I was extremely tired. I had been rowing for so long. I was in the middle of nowhere, stranded on a boat with limited fruit. The Tribe had been out of sight for a long time, and the sun was beginning to rise. Then, I heard to my surprise, a cruise. I shouted for help. They were surprised to see a teenage boy, in a coracle, in the middle of nowhere. They lifted me up, and comforted me. I told them my story. They were very surprised, but dared not laugh. I then heard the captain say to his mates, “He's had a touch of sun, leave him be.” I didn’t understand, until one of the waiters told me, “Sorry little sir, we were past your ‘islands’ area an hour ago. There was no island.” I was so shocked, I couldn’t breathe. Then I heard a voice in my head, “Always here, never leave.” And I saw Sam in his cool, green, seaweed hood, turning towards me from the corner of the deck
The Loyal Dog By Rayde Qurayshi
There was once a dog named Ozzy. Who was once a stray dog, his whole life changed one day when these two kids just took him to there house. At first he felt a bit scared and confused but then after a few days he settled down and started loving them and thought of them as his family. He showered daily and got a nice meal without doing any effort. All day, Ozzy lived in a kennel within the compound of the house and he tried his best to guard the home of his owners. Whenever any stranger pass by he started barking at him. The family loved him and he loved them as well. When night fell, he slept on a nice blanket inside his kennel and when day broke he had his food served before him in no time. In the same way he guard his owners without them asking. These two brother and sister loved him so much they took him with them everywhere they went. The loyalty of this precious Ozzy is deeply moving and humbling. He is very protective about everybody in the house but he cares about the kids most. But one day the kids were left alone but the mother wasn’t worried because she knew that Ozzy would protect them.The kids were messing around with each other and they were playing for some hours then 30 minutes were left until their mother would come back from her job.”let’s play around the corner, ”said Alan, “Fine but we have to be back in 10 minutes and go to sleep” said Anna, the kids left and ran Ozzy was worried so he went after them, but something terrible happened when he reached , there was a man that took the kids into his truck. Ozzy was horrified by what he saw, he sneakily jumped into the back of the truck and waited until they reached. Some time after they reached the kids were in a cabin with another man inside, he waited until the other man came out and went in.
He went in quietly and freed them from the ropes , after they were freed Anna called her mom and the police because her mom worked with them.The men found out that they escaped and were trying to finding them.They were hiding under the car “I found them and a dog”said the man they quickly got out from under there and ran as fast as they could but the men caught them and put them in a ship and were starting to get away Ozzy jumped and started attacking one of them Ozzy freed one of them but the man attacked him Ozzy still wasn’t down and the kids were freed but Ozzy was still fighting the other man and fell in the ocean “ the police arrived and arrested the men , Ozzy was Okay ! They were all happy. A year later The kids birthday came since they were twins there was a party with friends and relatives and with delicious food and a giant cake ! There were no presents though , of course Ozzy was there with a cute party hat on his head , after the party ended , everyone went back to their homes and the mess was cleaned up. Everything was fine until the evening , the kids were playing with Ozzy and their mother was doing her duty. But their mother didn’t return home by 8 pm , “do you think mom is okay ?” said Anna worriedly “I’m sure she just took the night shift” said Alan , then Ozzy got up suddenly and ran out the door , “where is Ozzy going ?” Said Anna , the kids got up and started going after Ozzy , after 10 minutes they reached at the police station , “Why did you come here Ozzy ?” Said Alan petting Ozzy , the police men were in a room , the kids went in there and asked where their mother was , they said that she went early to go to home but something happened , “ the kids were horrified and ran as fast as they could to home but as they were going they saw the sea ,then Ozzy dragged both of them by their shirts and got soaked. “Ozzy ! we have to go quickly “ said Anna running again. They were close to home and then Ozzy growled at them ,blocking their way to go back , but then they went back , the car wasn’t there then the kids went back home worried about their mom then they saw her with gifts they laughed with Ozzy wagging his tail.
Nightmare By Minahil Batool
A girl named Isabella, her dad Lucas, her dad’s servant David, and Isabella’s aged and mature caretaker (who has treated Isabella as her own daughter) live in a big mansion. Isabella’s mother died in a plane crash when she was almost 3-4 years. Bella is everyone’s most adored and much-loved child as she is very sensitive. Bella is a girl who is having last year of college and is claustrophobic. Bella experiences a weird nightmare almost every day which keeps her awake every night and gets her very scared. The nightmare she has is that there is one little girl who is running away with a lady at a train station but suddenly, she sees blood everywhere. She never feels safe anywhere except where her father, Lucas is. Bella’s father is very over-protective about her because he is scared if she will go way from him. After Bella completes her college, she takes a job in an oil refinery company where there are well educated people. One day, when Bella finished her night shift, David, her dad’s servant was going to pick her up from her company. As she was on her way, a very beautiful, kind and sweet girl who was as old as Bella, asked her, “Hey! Let’s go together in the lift, if u don’t mind,” asked the girl politely. Bella replied, “No, actually I’m-.” The lift had already opened so Bella had no option but to go inside with the girl. “Soo, what’s your name?”, the girl asked. “I-Isabella,” she replied while hesitating. David was still waiting for Bella to come so that they could go home. “Nice name! By the way, you are very pretty!” Bella started to breathe heavily as she was going through claustrophobia. “Are you okay?” the girl asked. “P-please open the lift,” Bella replied while breathing heavily. The girl immediately opened the lift door and asked, “Are u okay? What happened?” “I’m fine, actually I’m claustrophobic so I cannot go in lifts,” Bella explained.
“Oh, I’m so sorry I didn’t know, really sorry!” the girl apologized. “It’s ok. No worries.”, Bella said with a smile on her face. They introduced and talked till they had reached ground floor. “It was really nice meeting you, Mia!” Bella said politely. “You too, Bella!” Mia replied. Bella explained to David whatever happened. After a couple of months, Mia and Bella became best friends and they also used to hangout a lot. One day when Mia and Bella were chatting, a sudden idea came into Mia’s mind. She asked Bella, “Hey Belle, how about we go on vacation next week? Anyhow, we have holidays for a month. What do you think?”. “Great idea Mia! I’ll ask daddy and I’ll let you know!” Then after some days they started packing their stuff and headed off to vacation! After they reached, they were very excited about how everything will go because it’s their first vacation together! When they were driving to their hotel, Bella heard a strange voice. She ignored it at once, but after she heard it for about 3 times, she found it similar. It was a train passing by. Bella kept looking here and there and Mia found it weird. “You good, Bella?” asked Mia. “Yea, all good,” she replied with a fake smile on her face. After they came and rested for a while, time passed by and it was sleeping time. When they were sleeping peacefully, Bella saw that nightmare again after weeks! She started talking in sleep and Mia woke up. “No! Stop it!” said Bella in fear. “Hey! Bella! Wake up! You’re having that nightmare. Wake up!”, said Mia while shaking her trying to wake Bella up. Then she woke up and was freaked out! She kept on saying, “They will kill us!”. Mia comforted her and got her back to sleep. That night, Mia couldn’t sleep, thinking of why Bella has that nightmare every day. Does it have a link with her life? Who was that child and lady? Who was the killer? Why does Bella only have that nightmare in her whole family? Mia was filled with questions. The next morning, they both woke up all bright-eyed and dynamic. They sat down for coffee in the pretty monsoon weather.
Mia thought it was the right time to investigate about her nightmare. “Umm Bella? I’ve got a question for you,” Mia said. “Yea sure, go ahead,” Bella replied. “What did you look like when you were young, like 3 years old?” she asked. “I don’t really remember though, but I think I had short hair and I used to where red and pinkish colors a lot,” Bella replied. “Oh ok,” Mia said, and it had brought her in shock. That night, Mia recapped everything Bella had told her about the nightmare. “Isn’t Bella’s mom’s death too sudden, I mean like why would her mother be travelling alone? And she told me that she used to where pink and red a lot, and about the nightmare she was telling that the little girl was wearing a red fur hoodie with a pink scarf. So, does that meanOmg! Is that little girl Bella with her mother?! The girl in the dream is Bella! And the lady is her mom! So that clearly means that someone killed her mother without letting her know! Omg I have to tell Bella tomorrow!” Mia was thinking all of this through her mind. The next morning when they woke up, without any further due, Mia just said to Bella that, “I think someone killed your mother!” “What?! What are you saying! You mean my mom did a crime that’s why she got killed?!”, Bella exclaimed furiously. “No! I didn’t mean that!” Mia said. “That’s enough! Let’s go back home! Right now! Pack your things!” Bella shouted. Mia kept silent and just did what Bella told her to. As they were going back, they passed that train station again and this time, not only did Bella hear the noise, but also, she could kind of relate her dream to it! After she reached home, she immediately ran and hugged her caretaker who was like a mother to her. Bella started to ask a ton of questions! “How did mom die? Was she killed? Was it really a plane crash? Is my dream related to it? Please I want to know the truth!” Bella said while sobbing. The caretaker had been with her mom, so she knows what exactly happened. The caretaker started sweating and was speechless. “It’s time to tell her the truth,” thought the caretaker. “Ok, sit here darling. Now listen carefully and keep patient. The truth is that…...YOUR MOM WAS KILLED!” said the care-taker. Bella was completely lost. She couldn’t believe what she just heard.
“And you want to know who killed her? YOUR DAD! And the dream which you see every day is related to you! You are the little girl in it and your mom is that lady! Your mom and dad had a very serious argument that day and your mom was taking you and running away so your dad got mad and killed her. He told all of the servants to keep this a secret, but I couldn’t hold it in anymore,” said the care-taker while avoiding eye contact with Bella. Bella couldn’t believe what she heard so she stayed in her room the whole day. Late at night, when her father came back home, Bella came out as well with a gun in her hand. “Why are you holding a gun?! Are you crazy?! Give it to me,” said Lucas. “Don’t come near me, killer,” said Bella with a death stare on her face. “W-what killer?” said Lucas while his heart was beating fast. “You killed mum, right? There you go, you get your reward!” said Bella. She shotted David, her own father with her own hands! The next day Bella went to Mia’s house and apologised to her for being rude and then she learned how to not trust people blindly even if they are your relatives or your close ones. She is now a successful woman and runs her own company. The change in this story is that, the one Bella trusted the most, felt safe with and who used to comfort her when she used to have nightmares, was actually the one who was the main criminal in the story!
The Deadly Forest By Tahreem Amer
I woke up to the sound of my alarm ringing. It was time to go to the forest. I had packed my bag earlier that night and now I was ready to leave. I arrived at the bus station at around 9:30 am. They only took me till the city near to the forest and wouldn’t go any further. I wondered why? But anyway I just walked for 1 hour till I reached the forest’s entrance. There was dried blood everywhere, dead leaves on the ground and it smelled like rotten fish. At that moment I felt like I was going to puke. But I still kept walking further. As I approached a cabin, the smell got even worse. As I opened the door, a gush of foul smell hit me in the nose. I saw what looked like a man lying on the ground dead. He had teeth marks on his neck and scratches all over his body. And there was blood everywhere. I got scared as to who could have done such a thing? I ran out of the cabin and heard growling from the bushes. I tried to go back to the entrance but forgot where I came from. At that moment I realized I was lost! Then I blacked out. When I woke up, I felt a sudden sharp pain on my arm. I rolled up my sleeves to see a bloody bite mark and it hurt so bad. Again I wondered what could have done such a thing? Then I remembered the growling from the bushes. It sounded like a wolf’s growl. Then I heard my stomach grumble, I was starving! The only thing that mattered to me right now was to find something to eat. Then I remembered the cabin. There would obviously be some food in there. So I walked a little and saw the cabin, But there was someone or something right in front of it. I didn’t see and stepped on a twig. It made a crack sound and then I saw the full body and face of the creature. It was definitely not a human, It had deep red eyes, a long snout, razor sharp teeth, long claws and dark black fur. I couldn’t even move at that moment.
Adrenaline rushed through me. I felt like a statue. The creature was about to attack me when he heard a howl of what sounded like another wolf. The creature then ran towards the other direction and disappeared into the darkness of the night. I was confused and mostly scared. That was the thing that had killed the man. I immediately ran into the cabin. And pushed a heavy table in front of the door so that nobody could come in. I started searching for something to eat and found an apple and raw pasta lying on the kitchen counter. I grabbed the apple and sat down on a chair and began to think. What was that creature? What did it want? And where did that other howl come from? I was tired from such a long day and decided to explore more of the forest tomorrow, but right now it was time to sleep. I woke up in the morning feeling fresh. I went outside the cabin and there was a note on the doorstep. I picked it up and it read “ If you want to save your life you can get out of this forest but if you want to die a murderous death like that man you saw you can stay here. We have warned you, you have the time till the sun sets, after that you will be our dinner”. I was shocked but mostly scared. But I wasn’t gonna back off so easily. So I waited until the sun sets and stood on my doorstep. As the last ray of sunlight hit me in the face I heard a growl in front of me. I looked into the darkness of the night and saw a 2 glowing red eyes staring back at me. The wolf stepped out of the bushes and suddenly started running towards me at full speed. I quickly ran into the cabin and locked the door. I felt a sudden thud on the door as the wolf tried to get in. I pushed the heavy table in front of the door. And then heard the wolf saying “You can’t hide in their for ever. Sooner or later I will find a way in and kill you”. I was horrified and locked all the doors and windows of the cabin. Then I knew that I was safe. I decided that tomorrow I would find out where that wolf lived and why it wanted me to leave the forest so badly. Then I went to sleep. The morning came and I opened my cabin’s door and yet again their was a note on the doorstep. It read “I see you have not given up yet. But I am still giving you one last chance to save your life.
Get out of this place before midnight or this time I will bring my whole family to have the most delicious dinner called human meat”! I once again ignored the warning because I had a plan. The wolf had given me a very big opportunity. He said that he had a family and if I didn’t leave until midnight he would bring his whole family. So I gathered a few essentials in my backpack: A torch, A sandwich, a bottle of water, a knife and a lighter. Then I cut my self a little from the my finger and started dripping blood all around the cabin. Then I realized it was close to midnight . So I ran out of the cabin and hid in some nearby bushes. As I had imagined the wolf along with his family had come to the cabin and smelt the blood that I had dropped. The started searching all over the cabin for me. But what they didn’t know was that I was running in the other direction form where they had come. I reached a cave and inside I saw a green diamond with treasure engraved onto it. I picked it up and immediately heard the growl of the wolf behind me. He bit me on arm and I dropped the diamond. I immediately grabbed the lighter from my bag and threw it at the wolf, he roared in pain and then died on the spot. I picked up the diamond and threw it on the ground and it shattered into a million pieces. Then I went back to the cabin and their I saw the dead bodies of the wolf’s family. I then realized that the wolf and his family were controlled from the diamond. I broke the diamond and they died. Now I was free and no longer in danger. I went into the cabin to sleep and decided that tomorrow I would find out the entrance of the forest. I woke up the next day and luckily I found the entrance of the forest. I went back home and said to myself that I would never go back into that forest again.
ITS TIME TO TRAVEL! BY SYED ARMAAN DANISH
It all started when there were two boys name josh and Fred, they also had a pet dog called tank. Tank was a German shepherd and was really playful. One day, josh and Fred were playing in the yard with tank but whenever they told tank to fetch something he would just go on a specific spot and wag his tail or bark at the ground or run in circles around the spot so this time josh and Fred went to check it out and to their surprise it was a secret door. Luckily, they found a hatch and they opened it suddenly a big gust of wind flies out. When the dust disappears, it reveals a secret passage way but it looked very old because there were cobwebs everywhere and the dust explained it. But Josh and Fred were bold enough to go down the passage so they grabbed tank and a flashlight and went down the stairs. When they reached the end of the stairs they found a big looking object covered with a blanket. They looked at each other and lifted the blanket of, of course there was a lot of dust flying around but they were not focused on that they were gazing and focusing deeply on the object what looked like a machine. It had clocks attached on it and trust me I think there were ten of those things. But they were parts of other machines attached to it but there was one big compartment in the middle which was attached with everything in the machine. The brothers found a label at the top of the machine. They cleared the dust off and it read “the time machine by mr.____ “the creator’s name was scratched off but they figured out it was a time machine. They investigated it more. They stepped in the compartment which was attached to everything but tanks careless paws accidently pressed a big red button in the compartment. Suddenly the machine started to shake then they started feeling dizzy
then after a few minutes it stopped, the door opened by itself and then there were big lizards with spikes and long necks then they realized that they were in the age of dinosaurs. The brothers and tank were really scared because they knew about the t-rex but they tried pressing buttons but none of them did anything so they decided to split up. Fred was guarding the machine and josh was trying to find some food so they won’t starve. After a few searching, josh found a trail of seeds and there was a chicken next to them so josh picked up the seeds and lured the chicken over to the time machine. Josh and Fred met but tank seemed to just be playing around. They started a fire and roasted the chicken also the two brothers were boy scouts so they knew how to do the stuff. The brothers did not give up hope on the machine they pressed all the buttons again but there was one button which josh and Fred had a bad feeling about but they did not have any choice so they pressed it and suddenly the machine started to shake again and doing the same thing. The brothers sighed in relief but then tank started barking at something and unfortunately the brothers had stolen a dinosaur then the doors opened and then there were huge robots flying around, really high tech buildings and flying cars everywhere and they just realized THEY WERE IN THE FUTURE
The Maid Called Belle By Faria Haseen There was a huge castle in the old city of ascando. There are hundreds; in the castle. In there, there sits the King and the Queen. They had a maid called Belle. Belle had to clean day and night. One day, the king and queen decided to give a quest to themaid. They told to the maid that she have to go to the cave of gold and bring some gold from there and if you do they will give Belle some money. The maid was curious and she asked that, but why didnt the Queen and King asked a strong and wealthy person. They said that, you should go so you can have some house or be wealthy and have some rest after all that day and night cleaning.Then the maid accepted the deal and did one week of training and while she was doing that, the King and Queen have another maid. After Belle was done, she was ready to go. She went into the horse-working-carriage and WHOOSH she goes. After a few hours she arrived at the mountain where the cave was. She hopped off the horse-working-carriage and started climbing the mountain. Then finally she reached the top of the mountain. She saw the black dark cave. Luckily, she had a torch with her this whole time. She went inside slowly. As she went in the cave, she saw the gold shining with the reflection of the light. She was amazedand thought of taking one of the gold bricks for herself too. But then she thought,''what will she with the gold bar?''so she changed her mind.After she collected some gold bricks for the king and queen, she saw a glowing blue portal. She thought of two things, should she go in there or run away. She thought that OK i may go in there and see what is in there. So she jumped bravely in to the portal. The dumpster spitted out belle and she fell on the ground. ''OUCH!'' she screamed. She was in a big city! BUT, there were so many stray cats and dogs!!!She ran for her life and the people there started staring at her and whispering,''Oh my gosh, who is she.'' and people were were so amazed of the gold people even asked for it but Belle refused and RAN.
She didnt know where she was going but she was running. After all that she saw another portal by the dumpster so she decided to go in it. After she went in there she fell in to the cold water.She was at a pond FULL OF TADPOLES. She quickly came out of the pond and saw the Queens and Kings castle. She went into the castle, but the guards by the door refused. they told her that you are too messy to go in. So she went into her old house and took a bath and cleaned herself and then she was allowed to go. !THANK YOU THE END!

Its harder to drive a polar bear into somebody’s living room than you’d think. You need a living room window that’s big enough to fit a car. You need a car that’s big enough to fit a polar bear and you need a polar bear that’s big enough to not point out your errors. Like the fact what you’ve driven into the wrong house.which, when it comes to cars in living room, is bad. I should back up.(the story not the car. All right, let’s get the boring stuff out of the way. My name is failure. Timmy failure. My family name was once fayleure. But somebody changed it. Now it is spelled as you see. I’d ask you to get your “failure” jokes out of the way now. I am anything but, I am founder, president, and CEO of the detective agency I have named after my self. The next day I go to gunnars house in the failure mobile (aka my moms Segway) and knock on the door and Gunnar opens the door and let’s me in and tells me the spot where the crime was committed on a empty table and he tells me that the candy was inside a plastic pumpkin head. He starts listing the candy that was in the plastic pumpkin.”two mars bars, a Twix, seven 3 musketeers, five Kit Kat’s , eleven almond joys , five snickers, an abba-zaba, and eight Hershey’s kisses.” Gunnar looks up at me.” You getting all this down.” “Course I’m getting it down.”I note in my detective log Candy Gone. So I say let’s start with the basics, I tell the client, I take cash, Cheques, and credit cards.”I don’t actually take credit cards, but it’s sounds professional so I say it. He says how much will it cost? I say four dollars a day, plus expenses.” Expenses?” Asks Gunnar. “Chicken nuggets for the big man.” I say, pointing at total (aka my polar bear). Total roars, which looks intimidating until he falls backwards crushing gunnars desk. “That I know will be coming out from his chicken nuggets. I tell Gunnar I’ll let myself out. As I walk down the hall I see Gabe (Gunnars brother) with candy wrappers. There is chocolate smeared all over his face and a empty plastic pumpkin on the ground and as soon as I see it I am happy with the work I had done so I found the culprit in under 1 minute and got a profit in under a second. And I tell this to Gunnar and he is furious and before I leave I give Gunnar advise to get candy insurance if that were a thing and I walk home with nothing in my mind I use the failure mobile to get home. Once upon a time there were 3 friends mike, Jacob and bill they were taking a walk through the woods they were tired and it was dark they found a camp site that belonged to a person name john they ask if they could stay at the campsite he agreed and they sat down by the fire they all started telling scary stories when john came with some juice he sat down and told them a story about a gem that is a cage for a demonic source of power that would make a person unstoppable the story started with john telling them about a demon who used to go around killing people taking their souls and becoming stronger then the wizard made a gem that could cage the demon he trapped the demon and made a sword that could kill the demon as a last resort they say whoever wields the gem gets infinite power then john said I will find the gem and become unstoppable the others think it’s a joke and laugh but john said come with me and he led them to a cave saying at the end of this cave is the demonic gem and I will pass through it John runs through the cave but falls down trap door the others decide to continue through the cave because going back would be much worst they got through the tunnel of darts and bombs then they must get through a very big maze and at the end of that very very long maze they find a door which they all get sucked into in under the maze there is the gem but also a guardian which they fight and all of them almost die but when they find the gem john falls out of nowhere and he reveals that he isn’t a human but a minion made by the demon then john grabs the gem but Jacob throws his sword and accidently breaks the gem than the demon is released and the demon goes to kill more people the friends realise they must find the sword the wizard made that could kill the demon they find a map in johns backpack and john tells them that the sword is in the wizards desert temple they start their quest they reach the temple and guess what it filled with more traps
They get through the traps and pass the super very mega long maze it took hours then they fought countless enemies such as zombies,skeletons and demons after beating all these enemies they get the sword and go back to their city they see the demon has built a huge castle that was filled with a demonic army they tried to reach the castle before the demon regained all its power or else he would be almost unstoppable so they start fighting the demons mostly undead army but the army was too much and there was still more so bill an mike stayed back to distract the demons army while Jacob sneaked into the castle to defeat the demon he reaches the top of the castle and is ready to fight the demon he starts looking around he hears the demons voice he looks up and the demon is flying down the battle begins the demon summons some small undead soldiers Jacob kills them and defeats the demon but the demon get more energy and becomes more powerfull the demon summons a few more undead soldiers but Jacob defeats them again but the demon reaches full power and summons a lot of undead soldiers but Jacob kills the demon and he and his friends become heroes THE END OR IS IT?
A Moment Too Late

A best friend is someone who’s there to share the good times and support us through the bad times, but when that friendship falls apart, it can cause horrific pain. I think it’s important to know that friends can break your heart just as much, if not more so than romantic partners. I lost my best friend last year, and it was undoubtedly the most painful loss I have ever experienced. I dont quite know where else to start other than... I miss you. You were a piece of my heart that seemed to chip off and disappear. I feel irritated by your absence, Im not quite sure what to do with myself, I dont know whether to hide under the covers and bury myself from the world or keep myself busy to the point of combustion. I never realised how much I needed you until you were gone. I took you for granted and now look where I am. I was going through my memory box today and a lot of the stuff in it, involved you. It sent me back to the good times and I almost texted you….. until then, I realized that you’re a stranger to me now. It’s been months now since, we last talked. It’s crazy, right? In just a year, we went from being inseperable to complete strangers. If someone would’ve asked us a year ago, if we could see our lives without each other - we would’ve laughed and said, However, here we are. I would be lying if I said that,
I haven’t thought about you or I didn’t miss you. ‘Cause I do miss you, a lot. So many things have happened since we last talked, I wish that I could share it all with you. And there have been times when I picked my phone to text you but, it would strike me then that you’re not that person anymore; It’s especially sad because for the longest time, it seemed like you’d be the person who’ll be a constant in my life. I also miss being close with your family, being able to call your home, “my home” as well. It’s crazy how things can change in such short time. I hope that you don’t hate me for walking away like, I did. I hope that one day, you’ll understand that “had” to do it or else, we would have never known just how toxic our friendship had become. There are things that I know I shouldn’t have done, same goes for you. We are both to blame for our Friendship being as unhealthy as it was. Though it was unhealthy, we shared a lot of great memories and I’d like to think that, it was as good as it was bad. So, I’m sorry. I’m sorry I hurt you. When I ended things, it wasn’t because you didn’t have value as a person. I just didn’t see the value in continuing our friendship. It sounds mean but it really isn’t. Friendships are about enjoying each other’s company and gaining strength and supportcfrom each other. I stopped getting those things from you and it didn’tcfeel right to continue on pretending like I did. But I realize that probably hurt you, and for that, Im sorry. Although I didn’t want to continue our friendship, that doesn’t mean I wished you any pain. If I’ve caused you that, I’m truly sorry. I’m sorry that we’re not best friends anymore, and that I had to walk away. I’m also sorry, if I caused you any pain. Sorry that I couldn’t be “your” person anymore, that we couldn’t do everything we wanted to do. I’m sorry that I tried to blame you for our friendship coming to an end. I’m sorry that I tried to hate you, because damn, did I try. I tried so hard and for awhile it worked, because hating you and being mad at you was easier than missing you. But then I realized that I could never hate you, no matter how mad I was about what happened.
I’m just sorry that this is how it had to end for us but then again that’s life for you, right? Not everything goes the way it should, no matter how much you want it to. Besides I would also like to thank you. Thank you for being my “person”, for as long as you were. Thank you for being patient with me while, I learned how to trust you. Thank you for the memories that I’ll never forget. Thank you for caring enough to break through the walls that I had built, all these years. Thank you for being the person I could run to, for being the person whom I could count on, for being the person I could confide in without any fear. Thank you for teaching me how to love and be loved, for showing me that I can still trust others and be trusted. For proving that, people come into our lives for a reason and though they may not always stay.... Despite that the lessons learnt are a blessing, anyway. So, thank you. I would say that I can see us being friends again in the future but that’ll be a lie. It would never be the same again and if I happen to see you one day, I’ll smile and walk away. And although, my heart will break a little and memories will hit me like a train, I’ll be grateful for the time that we spent together. They say that, some people just aren’t meant to stay in your life forever unfortunately, you were one of those people. But they also say that, some people come into your life to teach you a lesson and leave, but the important ones leave a mark. Well, you left a mark on me and I am grateful that you came into my life, when you did. I also know that you may never see this but, I just needed to get it off my chest. Sure Albert Einstein was one of the greatest scientists, and sure Benjamin Franklin made light, but what about the thing that woman have contributed in? So I'm gonna tell you about why I think woman are more intellegent than men. At first they are good in many things just like all of us but they have downfalls and so do we. Sure in sports they might not be good at some stuff like some sports like football and basketball. But they have they're own range of sports they're better at. Like volleyball or hand ball, so they have basically the same as us, volleyball to basketball and handball to foot ball. They are also so many female inventors like: Marie Curie: Theory of Radioactivity, Maria Beasley The Life Raft and believe it or not a female made the COMPUTER So this proves that men are using the female inventors ideas and they are using the invention of the Female inventors and do a few changes to their items and they get the credit. The world doesn't highlight what a woman has done to help the society and what they have provided to our world and our society Only the men have took all the work do a little bit of work and it becomes a big invention. Thank you teacher for the opportunity to talk about a very important subject. I am in favor of the subject and genuinely believe that women are stronger than men. Definition of strength should be a subject to debate on its own and can be used in many different contexts. But allow to bring to table facts to prove women are literally stronger than men. Starting from the basic women are stronger and can endure more strain as a person. Out of 43 people who have ever lived over 100 years, 42 of them were women. Combination of a stronger physical endurance with strength to fightagainst disease, infections and viruses make them stronger beings as compared to men. Intellect. Women are scientifically proven to be more intelligent proven via statistics and higher average rating IQ throughout the year. We can see several examples of Women in key roles in our society where innovation and creation of game changing technology is accredited to Women. Combined with a strong emotional intelligence enables women to be great at handling crisis and recovery from it.Women are role models when it comes to multitasking and handling complex multi-dimensional situations. They are playing a vital role in running the operations of our society and running world leading organizations like Coca-Cola, eBay or even being Prime minister to countries like New Zealand. The list goes on. Talking about handling crisis and working under stress, it has been proven then when our society faced global crisis like the COVID pandemic. It is the nation’s ru by Women which are doing the best for examples New Zealand (Gacinda) and Germany (Angela). Proving yet again that Women are better leaders.

My name is Nauman Asif from 7-A, today I will be speaking as a member from the affirmative side and providing evidence and persuade you that women are smarter than men. Some of the reasons why women are considered to be more intelligent are as women are having better memory than men, smarter, being able to handle stress better than men, having the ability to multi-task more, being better leaders, more careful drivers, better students by being more focused. “Women having a lot of patience and well organized helps her to be a multitasked, they manage all of their work single handedly. From raising children to managing finance at home along with maintaining good family and social relations etc. If a woman is a mother at home, at the same time, she can also be a C.E.O of a company. The controversial (and probably not very surprising) result was uncovered by the Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis who found that women’s brains were approximately three years younger than men of the same chronological year on a metabolic scale. “It’s not that men’s brains age faster – they start adulthood about three years older than women, and that persists throughout life,” explains the famous author Manu Goyal, MD, who is also the assistant professor of radiology at the university. The studies were based off tests of reason, memory and problem solving and revealed that older women tended to score higher than men of the same age. Furthermore, there are many other additional research study journals which have proved my previous points. Such a recent research suggests womens brains are about four years younger than men of the same age, and as they age, they remain mentally sharp for longer than if they were men. So basically, various different scientists in different medicine departments have proven the fact that women are smarter than men neurologically.
Men Are Smarter By Minahil Batool Good Morning everyone! My name is Minahil and today I will be telling you why I disagree to the statement, ”This house believes that women are more intelligent than men.” As we can see that most of the state heads are males. There are so many reasons behind that but the main reason is that “MEN ARE MORE INTELLIGENT THAN WOMEN”. Scientifically it is also proven that a part of the brain in men is larger than women. This part is associated with solving mathematical problems, judging speed, etc. This is the reason why men’s decisions are spontaneous and precise. Studies also show that men are good in calculations and financial issues as compared to women. This is evident from the fact that in financial sectors, male power is dominating. Risk of error is also least when it is done by men as their brain works more actively in this field. I agree that women are multi-taskers, because they can think in different directions at a time. But there is a drawback of this property. When women try to finish so many tasks at a time, not even a single task is done with full attention. As compared to that, men can focus in a single direction and they can complete one task at a time, and with full focus. So if we want to do “a job well done”, it is mandatory to compile it with full focus. Now, if we talk about sports, most of the team players in sport teams are men. The reason behind this is again very valid and accurate. Men can hit and throw on a mark more precisely as compared to women and it is the key to success for any sports to be “on mark”. One more evidence of men intelligence is their driving skills. It is a very common observation that men’s driving skills are way better than women and the credit again goes to the precision and accuracy of men’s brain and on time decisions which can save so many “wrong turns” and accidents.
Should Teen Tech Be Limited
By Duaa Naveed Good Morning. My name is Dua Naveed from Group 1, the affirmative side. I am here today to convince you that: Yes! Parents and Teachers should limit the number of time teenagers spends on computers. Many people believe that these days, during social distancing, teenagers need computers more than ever as they cannot attend school physically and NEED a way to learn. I am not against them, but its necessary to continue our education even through these trying times, but it should be limited. As we study online, we spend more and more time on our computers, even after school. First, we take our six-hours-of continuous-school-on-computers, and then its finished, right? Nope, not at all, as classes are online, so is everything. Many teenagers and students use online textbooks after school to do their school work and assignments are also online. This would make a total of 9 hours of continuous screen-staring and sitting. This causes the young students to have backpains, neck-pains, shoulder-pain, headaches, eye-strain, and even knee-pains. 85% of students are suffering from this and if you ask your parents or some other grown-up if they had these pains at this age, they will always reply NO. Too much screen time makes us moody. I have noticed this in myself and my siblings. If teachers took away just 10 minutes of every period and break then it would give us 1½ less screen time, which we should take the responsibility to rest our body in. Studies have shown screen time: disrupts sleep and desynchronises the body clock, it induces stress reactions, overloads the sensory system, fractures attention, and
depletes mental reserves. We should also limit playing games because it actually makes them more fun. Let me explain, when you play with a toy too often it becomes boring right? But when you play with it every now-and-then then it more fun and attractive. Its the same for games. Teenage is the epitome of your youth. They should spend appreciate and spend time with their family. Teens should also spend time outside. Yes, you've probably heard this 100 times by mother, but she is saying this for you own good. Going outside will stretch and strengthen your muscles and bones after all that sitting, and why not kick a ball with your brother? And as teens are young they need to be active, to be healthy when they are older. Studies repeatedly show that excessive electronic use leads to lower grades, lower ability to be attentive and lessened social interactions. Parents act in your best interests, and in this case, limits are necessary. I'm not saying that teens should be banned from computers but limits are compulsory. In conclusion, teachers and students do need to limit screen-time for the future generation, because if they don't, there might not even be one. I would like to end my dialogue by saying to the students, please spend some more time outside and lesser on the screen. It will be better for your health and you will feel more refreshed, respectful and happy then you have in ever in the past year.

Good morning everyone today I will be telling you about why parents or teachers should not limit the screen time of a teen. So let us get started It is often thought that parents and teachers should limit the screen time of a teen but I disagree with this point. First of all parents or teachers should trust the children especially teens because the teens are old enough to understand. Sure they can get a little addicted at times but they are teens an sometimes they do not play really violent or bad games they usually text or do something other than games Second of all sometimes the teen can make friends or develop something good because games are not the only thing that is in smartphones or computers there are also some really educational stuff in there take google for example when was the last time you used google?. Probably today because google is being used all around the world and it is educating students a lot. Also if a teen does not have a friend a computer or device will help that because to make friends you have to talk a lot to get to know each other and if you are meeting someone new it can sometimes be online and you have to talk for a long time online and if a parent disturbs their talking then it will cause some issues Third of all did you know that 57% of the world has made friends online! Also nowadays because of covid-19 students are now using online to go to school and school is at least 6 hours a day and I think that is too much screen time. Sure they are having breaks in the middle but most of the time a student needs to complete something during the breaks in online and that something can be really important. So take this for example you are probably using a computer or a tablet to listen to me now.
There might be some parents who allow their teens to only use their device just for school but what about all your homework we are doing homework online too and I think most of the time it takes the whole day to complete your homework so just think. Sometimes internet can relieve your stress I think many people in the world just watch some satisfying video or cat videos on YouTube to make them less stressful and a teen should also deserve some fun in his/her life and computers and electronic devices are there to make you happy and entertain you I think many of the world are you tubers and YouTube can also be a career at times and you cannot quit your career even if you have 2 hours to complete a video it will be hard because then the video will not look as great and like a normal career you do bad you get less earnings you do good you get more earnings. The average screen time for a teen is 2 hours and you think and tell me can you educate yourself, entertain yourself, spend time with your friends, in 2 hours? If you can wow I am impressed if you cannot then that is what I am trying to say if a parent or a teacher limits the screen time then it will be hard and cause a lot of issues for a teen and I think teen is the age of when you have your own rights and you understand what a bad thing is and what a good thing is In conclusion I think parents or teachers should not limit the screen time of a student or a teen because you have to trust your child or student and devices can also be used to educate people and your teen and devices can also make friends and a teen should deserve so fun and entertainment because many teens face through social pressure. Today I will tell you about why parents and teachers should not limit the screen time for teenagers.As we know for every thought there are two perspectives, first one which everyone knows and the other which is not highlighted much. I am here today totalk about the second perspective. It’s a very sensitive yet very important topic in today’s time. But I don’t agree with this preposition. As we know technology is not going away or becoming less popular. They should let their teenagers to learn social and technical skills through screen time. Regardless, we are in a different era. Today, technology is so prevalent, it’s hard to keep it away from teenagers. But I don’t think they should even try. If they restrict their teenagersaccess, while emailing from an Apple Watch, teen’s won’trespect the rules they are trying to set for them.Some children grow up wanting to play baseball all day, but Some wanted to play Castlevania and Super Mario Brothers. Sadly, their parents believed they had fry their brain for the love of videogames but the vast majority of digital gaming today is a social event. They need to give them ways to use their phones that are also productive, which offer them great experiences and help them learn and develop their abilities. Eliminating screen time is a thing of the past.
