Section 35: 5 shares of Divide Creek Highline Ditch Co. water (322 total in the Co.) The Highline Ditch has the following water rights: 1. 150 cfs from West Divide Creek 2. 14.43 cfs from Alkali Creek—this creek runs early and dries up fast (available for 4-6 weeks only). 3. 33.3 cfs from Clear Fork of Muddy Creek (tributary to the Gunnison River). This is imported water for late summer use when West Divide Creek is low. Because it is imported from a basin different than the Colorado River it has special value and can be used to extinction. It can also be sold for use within other basins with the proper augmentation plans. 4. 18.9 cfs from Owens Creek. This imported water is tributary to the Colorado River and can be used to extinction but only within the Colorado River basin.
