ith over 80 acres this lovely ranch land and ranch house has it all. The beautiful, expansive 360° views take in the mountaintops, pastures and a charming pond with BLM land on two sides. The outbuildings: a work-shop with 14-foot doors, walk-in cooler and attached 1 bedroom apartment; a second shop/garage; and a 5-stall horse barn make this a viable working ranch if just enjoying the ambiance doesn’t suit you. So gentleman’s ranch or working ranch, this spacious, private and convenient property is complete with water rights, making it the perfect package. Q: What style best describes your home? A: Country elegance with tons of open space and terrific views. Q: What lifestyle did you envision in your home? A: We envisioned a comfortable, ranchstyle retirement and this was the home we picked. It has great views, lots of room to roam, a fishing pond for the grandchildren, an apartment for caretaker, and two huge shops for my husband’s toys and tinkering. However, my husband did not stay retired and we’re back in the cattle business. Q: What is your favorite room or area? A: The beautiful kitchen we remodeled has everything! It’s complete with slab granite

countertops, handpainted tile backsplash, a warming drawer, a double oven, a built-in butcher block, trash compactor, a huge pantry, glass leaded windows for display cupboards, and a
hammered brass wet bar sink. Q: What is unique about your home or the décor? A: We love the easy access but private country-feel with our
expansive views into the bordering BLM land and far beyond. Q: If you could change one thing what would that be? A: I would move this home to the big ranch my husband bought to accommodate a few hundred cattle. I simply love this home. Q: What is your favorite way to entertain? A: We really spread
out and do very casual dining with family and friends. But the primary focus always draws people back to our huge homey kitchen. Q: What is an extravagance in your home you can’t imagine living without? A: There are so many special features that I love about the kitchen but the full-length slide out spice rack is a big favorite of mine.
I also have spent untold hours in our sunny walkout lower-level that I made into the world’s largest sewing room. Q: Is there a terrific feature in your home that someone might not notice at first? A: I think one of the most eye catching features of the home is the stone entryway with the etched glass double doors made of 2 ¼” solid cherrywood.
