ENFORCE YOUR TEATOX WITH DAILY LITTLE SIMPLE THINGS BREATH Each time you have a cup of tea, take a few minutes before to practice deep breathing. If you are not familiar with it, search the web for information and videos.

METABOLISM BOOSTING SHOWER Change the way you shower. Start under hot water for 1 minute. Then cool down the water for 1 minute and then use cold water for an other minute and come back to hot water. Do this twice during the whole shower (finish under cold water). If you have a hand shower, apply the cold water from the ankles, going upward to the neck.

In this fast-paced day and age, it is becoming increasingly more difficult to remove ourselves from our electronic devices, even if it is for just a few minutes. However, giving your mind a breather for just 10 minutes a day while coupling it with the power of tea will actually make you more alert and focused so you can get more done. Each day, take 10 minutes to completely tap out of technology and tap into tea. Most of us have at least a 10 minute break during the day, so you should have plenty of time to steep a pot or cup within this timeframe and reach a state of purpose-driven mindfulness. Turn off your cellphones, computers, tablets etc. and put them out of sight. Begin your tea ritual in a safe-haven of your choice. (ie: break room, your desk, outside, etc.) As your tea steeps, take this time to focus inward, deepen the senses and tap into each moment.

HONG JING TUAN 2006 PU’ERH Pu-erh tea has become best known, however, for its ability to inhibit an enzyme complex called fatty acid synthase (FAS), which is linked not only to obesity but also to cancer (elevated levels of FAS are found in a wide variety of human cancers). Pu’erh tea is fermented and it contains a probiotic bacteria called lactobacillius gasseri. This probiotic helps to keep healthy intestines and well balanced intestinal flora, which leads to weight loss. A Japanese study drove in double blind random placebo has shown that, after twelve weeks of lactobacillius gasseri treatment, 87% of over weighted patients had lost an average of 4,6% of abdominal fat, 1,4% of waist size and 1,8% of body weight.
