How to make Bratislava a better place for living? For over two years, more than 70 experts, under the leadership of Matúš Vallo, have been trying to find an answer for this question. The result of this effort is the book Plán Bratislava, which presents a specialized manual for improvement of our capital city. On its 300 pages, we’re resolving all of current problems in Bratislava. Now, we’d like to present some of the most important solutions to you:
1. Bratislava transportation
2. Bratislava and developers
3. Inclusive Bratislava
4. Enviroment
5. City and its functioning
The people of Bratislava will be able to move across the city more effectively, spend less time in traffic jams and find a parking space much faster.
City development and creation of infrastructure should be in the hands of the city and its residents, not the developers. The city will become a confident partner, who’ll set the rules for new construction and oversee the compliance.
Bratislava will be a city that focuses on its seniors, disabled citizens and those who are less fortunate
The city will know the extent of water pollution and connected risks, and transform this knowhow into specific measures and its protection. There will be more greenery in the city, and it will be better maintained.
The mayor will cooperate with the council members and focus on creating solutions together. Residents will be freed from unnecessary arguments about who’s causing more harm to Bratislava. I will bring professionalism and quality back to Bratislava.
