VITOR RAMIL
Sunday, 9pm +6 years €12-€15 (with discounts €5-€10,50)
The délibáb is an extraordinary phenomenon in the hungarian plain, similar to the plains in the south of our continent, transporting us to far-flung landscapes and almost desert-like horizons. Délibáb is also a record by Vitor Ramil, who brings together his milongas, composed from milongapoems by the argentinian Jorge Luis Borges and verses by the brasilian João da Cunha Vargas.

FILIPE RAPOSO E FILIPE MELO Friday, 9pm +6 years €12-€15 (with discounts €5-€10,50)
These composers and pianists from the same generation are united by a common characteristic – an eclectic musical vision without barriers or preconceptions. Their careers are so versatile and protean that over the years they have been sought for countless projects and collaborations, from jazz to erudite music and fado to pop-rock. It was in their rich stylistic diversity that they constructed their language and the freedom that reigns in the music they create. It was this common vision that motivated the two Filipes to come together on the stage for the first time and celebrate this union. And playing for children, the combinations of sounds are the toys and a stage is a playground.

Friday, 9pm +6 years 12-€15 (with discounts €5-€10,50)
United by their classical musical training, Mário Laginha and Pedro Burmester embarked on different careers – one closer to jazz and a cultivator of multiple types of world music, the other more oriented towards the performance of a classical repertoire. Just over 20 years ago, they combined their musical inclinations, experiences, and penchant for risk and began a collaboration that resulted in a record (Duetos, 1994), numerous concerts all over the world, and participation in the 3Pianos project, along with Bernardo Sassetti. This concert includes a work by João Paulo Esteves da Silva, a short sonata by Mário Laginha, and works by Claude Debussy and Maurice Ravel. By way of a tribute, Bernardo Sassetti’s music will also be included in the concert.

CELUI QUI TOMBE
Yoann B ourgeois
With A Tarumba – Teatro de Marionetas Saturday, 9pm; Sunday, 5.30pm Suitable for: +8 years Subject to CCE rating €12-€15 (with discounts €5-€10,50) With no words
Six artists challenge the law of gravity, attempting to keep their balance on an imposing suspended platform that tilts, spins, swings, and lifts. They have no control over what happens. The only way of countering it is through agility. In the face of such instability, bodies rise, climb, hang, and fall, together and separately, in this perilous dance for survival. Yoann Bourgeois is like a giant puppeteer full of humour, operating the strings of an enormous platform, a flying carpet or infernal carousel, which pushes the bodies to the verge of falling.

SÍ NDROME Friday and saturday, 9pm Sunday, 5.30pm Subject to CCE rating €12-€15 (with discounts €5-€10,50)
Here we are talking about the great portuguese choreographer and dancer Olga Roriz. The public doen’st forget those great moments when she has integrated the Gulbenkian Ballet cast under the direction of Jorge Salavisa, and where she was the first dancer and the main choreographer. Now she brings us Síndrome her brand new piece. Men and women of lime, in a war-torn city, carry the memories of gestures. Dust infiltrates every crevice, penetrates the lungs, and finally settles on the soul. There is truth, expectation, aspiration, and disillusion. Bread is eaten, there is talk about human dignity, about solitude. There is singing, kissing, smoking... and time so real becomes symbolic.
