Understanding the power of the world and the world as a power is what makes Uruguayan choreographer Tamara Cubas, one of South America’s most original creators, tick. Trilogia Antropofágica is another step in Tamara Cubas’ intertextual exploration, underlining the choreographer’s interest in assembling bits of other creations into her artistic proposals. This work is based on three brazilian works: Vestígios by Marta Soares, Matadouro by Marcelo Evelin and Pororoca by Lia Rodrigues. Première in Portugal

FADO É HUMOR Paulo de Carvalho and Marco Rodrigues Sunday, 17:30

>6 €12-€15 (discounted tickets €5-€10.50)

Humorous fado is an opportunity to show an unjustly forgotten and minimised side of fado. Besides leaving everyone in a good mood, its poems are highly literary, most of which are ignored by many fado lovers.

Mister Satie loved to walk. Well, maybe he was not so fond of it but he had no choice: being short of money, he had to make long daily walks, since he could not afford the train from home to the downtown of Paris, where he spent most of his life. He was a loner but had a great sense of humour. Who wants to know him a little better? Piano & stories: Joana Gama; Lighting designer: Frederico Rompante
