Those are just some of the words that describe our national community of approximately 66 VARs who continually position themselves at the forefront of change and innovation. The TechSelect program is designed to nurture the success of its members through business skills education, engagement and a wide range of services and support. This program delivers numerous opportunities for vendor partners to interact with a successful and respected group of solution providers. This includes a series of highly strategic Partner Conferences, regional events, monthly communications and eMarketing campaigns. This is your opportunity to engage with leading SMB solution providers who are committed to growing their business utilizing your products and services. In fact, the TechSelect members have demonstrated over 36% growth YOY as compared to a control group of like customers growing at approximately 5%. Similarly, TechSelect sponsoring vendor partners have grown over 25% YOY within the TechSelect membership making this one of Tech Data’s most sought-after programs. Target Audience and Program Success The TechSelect Community is made up of 66 of Tech Data’s most engaged reseller partners and represents more than 11 percent of Tech Data’s current revenue in FY17. These elite VARS are a loyal and involved group who see the value in the vendor investments as well as the membership community. For FY17, the TechSelect community members projected sales are more than $140 million. “I have been a part of the TechSelect community for three years. Program Elements – Level 1 Marketing Activity Qty Partner Conferences

Activity Description

Two Partner Conference events during 2017 – Savannah, GA (in partnership with the U.S.), and the 2nd will be Canadian only. Level 1 vendor sponsors will be required to present their product and solution messaging in one of two formats.  1 hour Seminar Presentation: Group is divided based on segment messaging. Requires two speakers.  1 hour Group Presentation: Vendor addresses the entire membership with one message Also available to Level 1 sponsors are the following sessions: One-on-One, Rapid Fire, Group and Community Discussion. Interaction opportunities with all members are available throughout the conference.  Rapid Fire Sessions (1 to many: Vendor representatives will have an allotted amount of time to address small member groups with tailored messaging. The member groups will rotate to each vendor. Vendor can use this time as preferred to get messaging across. *Travel and accommodations not included. Sponsorship includes one vendor attendee. Additional vendor attendees will be subject to a surcharge.

TechSelect Vendor Advocate

Exclusive to level 1 sponsorship! You will have the ability to work with a Vendor Advocate on a monthly basis to gain useful information, discuss challenges or review common questions. It is the Vendor Advocate’s responsibility to then share this information with the rest of the member community. The goal for this pairing is to increase visibility to the vendors but also create an advocate that vendors can leverage.

Working with the TechSelect team and members in the select geographical area, vendor partners may invite key accounts to these unique events. More than one vendor partner may co-brand a regional event. Any TechSelect sponsoring vendor partner may participate in hosting regional events. TechSelect Regional Events may be coordinated as an à la carte activity during the year (incremental funding required).
