JUNE 2013 Monthly Meeting It was the blizzard that finally persuaded me to return from Spain for the next monthly meeting on Tuesday June 4th at the Royal Ocean Racing Club at 20 St James’s Place London SW1A 1NN as usual. People tend to meet from about 7 pm in the friendly bar and there’s a good supper option. The next ones will be July 2nd August 6th and September 3rd. There’s usually loads of rides & spectacle plus food and trade stands. Full details are here : http://www.thesupercarevent.com/index.php/2013-event. It is a fund-raiser for the Children’s Trust at Tadworth who do fantastic work with the severely disabled and well worth supporting. Blenheim Palace - Sunday June 16th What could be more spectacular than visiting one of the world’s great stately homes with a drive full of Ferraris. If you can help on the day by providing passenger rides for example that would be great or if you just want to turn up and support them that would be appreciated too. http://www.havenshospices.org.uk/little_havens_care
Stags Head House Whittlebury One of the longest sagas since Lord of the Rings is almost concluded since the Club has finally succeeded in purchasing permanent premises as above. I believe they will provide a very worthwhile home for our organisation. Full details will follow after the move and should also be in August Ferrari News.

The Ferrari Owners’ Club are pleased to offer their Summer Picnic at the stunning Blenheim Palace, situated on the edge of the village of Woodstock on the A44, 7 miles north west of Oxford. This World Heritage Site, built in the early 18th Century was the birthplace of Sir Winston Churchill. The beauty and tranquillity of Capability Brown’s landscaped parkland created in the 1760s and the Formal Gardens, created more recently, are unrivaled anywhere in Britain. The Blenheim Palace Management have kindly allocated the ‘Great Court’, surrounding lawns and approach road to the ‘Column of Victory’ in which to display our Ferraris. We have negotiated a Club discount for Palace Park and Gardens admission along with picnics. This offer is available by completing the application attached. Just complete your preferences on the application and we will send you the appropriate tickets. If, for some reason, you do not arrive in your Ferrari, parking will be available in the public car park only. We would like you to book in advance so that we can plan the areas to park Ferraris. However, if you are unable to do this, you can arrive in your Ferrari but will have to pay the full un-discounted entry and will be parked amongst other Ferraris.
