Isaac BusutilL wildlife warrior Isaac Busutill is a student from Victoria using social media platforms to raise awareness of issues. He’s passionate about the protection of wildlife and endangered species.

Rachel McPhail postcode campaigner Rachel is a proud Gomeroi woman who used the power of social media and online petitions to get Australia Post to recognise and include traditional Indigenous place names in addresses. Her campaign has grown into something even bigger.

Malala has been campaigning since the age of 11 to promote girls’ and women’s access to education. You might have read her book, I am Malala.

Molly was sick of seeing single-use plastic straws clogging up the NSW environment – so she built her own digital campaign to combat plastics called Straw no More.

INFLUENCING STUDENT INTERNET USE Following some online incidents, Year 5 students chose to help parents and students at their school learn all about the most popular sites/games/apps being used by the students. Their aim was to influence students to be smarter and safer online. They also wanted parents to be better informed about student internet usage. Let’s unpack their process:
