Ed's Note Hey everyone, I have a love-hate relationship with exercise. In secondary school, I’d fake excuses to avoid PE lessons, and when it came to the annual 2.4km runs, I walked and came in last – that’s how much I dislike cardio. Even now, I recognise the

importance of keeping fit, but the thought of exercising is always instantly followed by “I’ll go tomorrow”. Spoiler

alert: “Tomorrow” never comes. As such, this fitness issue is an opportune one for me, as it is for you.

From outdoor fitness apps (p. 14)

to looking fab while keeping fit

(p. 28) to interesting exercises to pick up (p. 68), to the perfect fitness playlist (p. 60) there’s no excuse not to start working out. And for those who require a little motivational pick-me-up,

we suss out the peppiest fitness health gurus (p. 58) as well as the most body positive celebs to follow (p. 56). Last but not least, we speak to two millennials – a football player turned sports journalist (p. 82), and a professional male pole dancer (p. 84). Although they might not fit into the mould of

conventional athletes, they’ve certainly worked hard to pursue their passions. I hope they’ll inspire you as

LOVING THIS MONTH

much as they inspired me.

As a #Lipstickaddict, I’m pretty stringent when it comes to trying on lippies. With NYX’s Lip Lingerie series ($20 each), I was impressed with its smooth application and non-drying formula; a rarity with liquid lipsticks. French Maid, in particular has become an everyday shade for me – it’s a pretty nude-mauve shade that offers the perfect amount of colour without screaming for attention.

Love,

Johanna 5

Healthy Go Lucky Just because you’re eating clean doesn’t mean you have to miss out on the good stuff – from power bowls to organic hot pots to sin-free ice cream, we dig out the hippest joints where you can get your superfood fix. By chew hui ling

An Acai Affair 101 East Coast Road, Singapore 428796

There are plenty of healthy establishments jumping onto the acai-wagon, but this new kid on the block is one of the few specialty outlets dedicated to the Brazillian superfood. Nestled along the stretch of gyms and yoga studios (psst, flashing your gym pass gets you discounts! #DontSayBojio), An Acai Affair boasts five berry-delicious options of acai bowls for you to dig into. Get snap-happy on the Tropical Coconut Bowl ($6.90), which is served in an edible coconut husk along with a big heap of fresh fruits, superfoods galore and coconut shavings. If that isn’t enough to satisfy your aesthetic needs, there’s even a secret outdoor garden complete with cushions, mats and a faux grass backdrop – all the better to pretty up your Instagram shots with!

A Poke Theory 27 Boon Tat Street, Singapore 069623

Once upon a time, rainbow anything and salted egg yolk everything were all the rage amongst local foodies – until these Hawaiian bowls of raw fish goodness rode the wave onto our Instagram feeds. The pioneers of the local poké bowl scene, A Poke Theory allows you to concoct your own poké combi: select your choice of carbs from sushi rice to lemon herb quinoa; load up on the flavours, whether you fancy traditional shoyu tuna or a spicy kick of mayo salmon; and finish it off with a dollop of fresh tobiko or a handful of cherry tomatoes on the side. While poké bowls are the specialty here, these guys also serve up energy-boosting smoothie bowls ($6), generously topped with superfood ingredients like sunflower seeds, quinoa puffs and raw cacao nibs.

Beauty

Next To Nothing

Forget matte foundations and heavy concealers; fake your way to an IG-ready glow by constructing the perfect ‘barely there’ base. Think opalescent microspheres to achieve that luminous #IWokeUpLikeThis complexion courtesy of M.A.C’s Next To Nothing Face Colour ($58) – following up with the Next To Nothing Pressed Powder ($46) to set and boost that effervescent glow. #NoFilterNeeded

What A Scent-sation

Fun fact: Released in 1981, The Body Shop’s White Musk fragrance was one of the first to pioneer the use of ethical vegan musk. And this crueltyfree beauty brand has now reinvented the classic into the White Musk L’Eau fragrance (from $29.90), combining its classic floral notes with delicious fruity notes and the freshness of Spring. What better way to speak to new generations of cruelty-free supporters than with a whiff of the scent that started it all?

Whip It Back & Forth

Stuck between the dilemma of a thorough (but drying) cleansing routine versus one that doesn’t slough impurities entirely? Senka’s latest additions, the Perfect Cleansing Water ($19.90) and Perfect Oil Whip ($17.90) rid dirt, makeup and excess sebum buildup easily, leaving you with moisturised and refreshed skin. Formulated with Senka’s ‘Natural Cocoon No-Mitsu Care’, the Perfect Cleansing Water removes light makeup and effectively reduces shine and greasiness, while the Perfect Oil Whip penetrates deep within to dissolve heavy and waterproof makeup.

Draw The Line

Kate Tokyo’s beauty products have earned their spot in our makeup kits and the latest 2017 Spring Summer collection will be no different. From the range of eyeshadows, mascaras and lip glosses emerges our favourite of the lot: the Kate Super Sharp Liner EX ($17)! With a super-fine brush tip jointly developed by Pentel (yes, that famous stationery brand) and designed with a nonagonal pen body for extra grip and control, this multifaceted eyeliner will have you drawing the thinnest and most elaborate of designs with ease.

22

Eye Am Powerful

As if an arsenal of cult-favourite beauty products weren’t enough, IT Cosmetics’ most recent follow-up, the Superhero Eye Transforming Anti-Aging Super Palette ($68), conquers yet again with 12 brand new superhero inspired shades. Comprising four eyeshadow sections – Superhero Eye Foundation, Nudes, Neutrals and Liners – this limited edition palette is formulated with hydrolysed collagen, real silk, peptides and antioxidants for intensely gorgeous pigments that won’t budge throughout the day.

A Hairy Situation

A familiar brand on the female grooming front, Veet is upping their game with the Veet Sensitive Touch Beauty Trimmer ($44.90) – an all-in-one device that’ll help women trim hair on the eyebrows, underarms and other sensitive areas easily and gently sans the plethora of waxing, shaving and tweezing tools. Whether it’s tossing the beauty trimmer in your travel bag or shaping your brows on the go, this handy device covers all the bases. Perfect for any situation!

One Lippie To Rule Them All

Gone are the days of matte, chapped lips! Touted to encompass everything we’d ever need in a lippie, Rimmel’s latest The Only 1 Matte Lipstick range ($18.90 each) boasts nine long-lasting, non-drying shades that’ll glide on your pout comfortably while delivering highly pigmented colour. And they’ve got a superstar collection of bold reds, sweet pinks and everyday nudes – we’ve got our eyes on Salute and Take The Stage – totally perfect #MyLipsButBetter material!

Sun Shielders

Putting on sunscreen has thankfully become a skincare norm, but reapplying it throughout the day? Not so much. Enter Bioré’s improved UV Aqua Rich Watery Gel and Watery Essence ($18.90 each), lightweight sun protection gems that minimise the hassle of reapplication thanks to their long-lasting UV protection and sweat- and waterproof formulas that leave skin feeling refreshed. Say goodbye to unsightly tan lines and sun-damaged skin!

The Hallyu wave’s still riding strong and there’s no denying that fourth-gen girl group TWICE is cruising right at the top. despite their meteoric rise to success, their journey was quite the bumpy ride. Ahead, we chart the highs and not-so lows of K-pop’s reigning sweethearts. Chew Hui Ling

I

t seems like it was just yesterday that we had iconic girl groups like Wonder Girls, 2NE1 and 4minute running the world. Fast-forward to 2017 and there’s a new bevy of young pop mavens gracing the stage, but how

many of these budding divas are capable of filling the stilettos of these second-gen legacies? Just ask TWICE. Arguably the brightest ladies in K-pop right now, the ninesome has been dominating the scene

MAY 2015

with their colourful brand of funky pop anthems, girl-next-door charms and top-notch visuals – all while infecting everyone under the sun with the TWICE virus (sha sha sha and neomuhae, anybody?). While it did seem like TWICE was set on the fast track to stardom – after all, the JYP darlings were expected to follow in the footsteps of their ‘Tell Me’ sunbaes – their road to success was far from smooth-sailing. Being thrust into the cutthroat entertainment industry at such a young age, their every move came under the scrutiny of the public eye, on top of struggling with naysayers and the constant pressure to out-do the competition. Yet it’s precisely because of these ups and downs that shaped TWICE into who they are today. Sit tight, we’re heading on a trip down TWICEcoaster lane.

43

2013

Before TWICE even happened, JYP was in the midst of preparing for its new six-member girl group, 6MIX. Rumour had it that Jihyo, Nayeon, Jungyeon and Sana were originally part of the lineup, but plans were scraped due to two of the candidates dropping out. We can’t imagine TWICE without ‘em, but it’ll be interesting to see the chemistry between 6MIX and TWICE.

The remaining 6MIX members had a second shot at debuting along with 12 other hopefuls through reality survival show Sixteen, where they were pitted against one another to secure a spot in JYP’s upcoming girl group. Competition was tough; and by tough, we mean dividing the girls into Major and Minor teams in which participants in the former received star treatment while the rest were treated the opposite. After rounds of brutal eliminations, only nine of the girls managed to rise above the challenge. From there, TWICE was born and the rest is history.

The AOMG Movement Get ready Singapore, Jay Park’s all set to tear up the stage with his aomg crew. get to know the names leading follow the movement before their first gig here. By Chew Hui Ling

Jay Park

From a former boy-band member who emerged from the ashes of a scandal, to a bonafide extraordinaire helming his own independent record label, Jay Park’s success story is truly one to admire. Building the Above Ordinary Music Group (AOMG) into the powerhouse business it is now, the 30-year-old represents the new wave of hip-hop talents out for global domination. And Jay hasn’t slowed down one bit since his entrepreneurial fame – he’s been hard at work delivering new tunes, appearing on broadcasts and embarking on world tours with his AOMG crew. After Show Me The Money 4, the AOMG leader’s returning to the judging panel for the sixth season. Jay has been confirmed to partner up with Dok2 as a producing team – all the more reason to catch the show! Psst...

52

Don’t miss Jay Park and the AOMG crew at their Follow The Movement concert on 1 May at the Suntec Convention Hall! Tickets from $161, www.asiaboxoffice.com

Simon Dominic

Despite being the most seasoned rapper on the AOMG roster, Simon D has had quite the turbulent career – walking out from his Supreme Team shadows, being embroiled in one of the most epic diss battles in K-history, and dealing with a very public breakup with his celebrity girlfriend of six years. Becoming the co-CEO of AOMG was probably the best decision he’s ever made, as he soon staged his long-awaited solo comeback and scored a certified all-kill on the charts with his self-titled pre-release single. We can only foresee bigger things ahead for Ssam D!

Loco

No stranger to any Show Me The Money fan, Loco first made a name for himself after attaining champ status on the rap competition in 2012. But things didn’t go exactly as planned – the rookie rapper signed on to a company that was barely scraping by and was forced to pay a 200 million won penalty for breaching his contract before he was permitted to leave. That was when he met Jay Park, who promised to cover the hefty fees for Loco in exchange of him joining AOMG just so “we could make music together”. Now that’s the kind of friendship we’re talking about... Not only does Loco boast a massive string of collaborations, the talented rapper also lent his swag to the soundtracks of your favourite K-dramas including My Lovely Girl, The Girl Who Sees Smells and Scarlet Heart: Ryeo. Psst...

Photo: Launch Group

Gray

Who’d have ever expected a computer science geek to be spitting flows alongside some of the coolest names in hip-hop? Dropping out of university to pursue his passion in music, Lee Sung Hwa – but just call him Gray – is the first artiste to be signed under AOMG and also the first to put out his debut EP, Call Me Gray, in 2013. Although the record didn’t yield any chartbusting numbers, it was a solid effort that helped to launch Gray’s career as an up-andcoming producer. Some of his notable works include Gary’s ‘Shower Later’, Crush’s ‘Red Dress’ and Shinhwa’s ‘Alright’. Aside from AOMG, Gray is also one-fifth of the VV:D collective which houses Zion.T, Crush and more. Talk about double squad goals! Psst...

DJ Pumpkin

No AOMG show is complete without their resident DJ taking charge of the decks. This EDM maven spins, mixes and hypes seamlessly on the set, ripping up the dance floor with his sizzling beats. Recently, DJ Pumpkin held his first European showcase along with AOMG soloist ELO, which kicked off with a sold-out crowd in London followed by a successful second rave in Paris. Hey DJ Pumpkin, we’re expecting some seriously bangin’ drops at the upcoming Follow The Movement gig!

Positive Body Moves

Don’t give in to societal pressures to look a certain way – even Hollywood stars are bucking the unrealistic trend to become advocates for body positivity. By Bryan Yeong

Joe Jonas

Amy Schumer

Adele

Grant Gustin Television’s resident speedster Grant Gustin zips his way into our hearts as The Flash, but who knew that the handsome actor in his skin-hugging suit would get detractors on social media? Grant called out critics on his Twitter that commented he “should put on 10lbs”, and proudly stood up for his lanky frame by saying he would do as he pleases. It served as a stark reminder that while many keyboard warriors make derogatory comments about celebrities having to lose weight, the opposite should not be neglected either. Hey, even superheroes come in all shapes and sizes.

Joe Jonas has made leaps and bounds to promote awareness for body positivity – and we’re not just talking about the shirtless images he posts on social media. His band DNCE’s music video for their hit single ‘Toothbrush’ might have you initially mistaking it for yet another clichéd MV – with its steamy party scenes being all too familiar. But instead of casting a typically skinny chick as Joe’s onscreen love interest, the band requested to work with bootylicious model, Ashley Graham, showing that love and beauty is universal. Way to go, Joe!

You see her receiving countless awards onstage and tear up to her soulful voice when it’s on the radio; but rarely would you notice anyone pointing out Adele’s bigger frame. Attribute this to her nonchalant brush-offs about questions regarding her weight early on in her career, consciously making it a nonissue and driving attention and the conversation back to her insurmountable talent instead. She once explained to the Daily Mail, “I’ve never had a problem with how I look. I’d rather have lunch with friends than go to the gym.” Can we be invited for this lunch too, please?

56

The sassy comedienne might not fit into the stereotypical impression of a blonde, bikini babe, but that didn’t stop her from clinching the titular role for the upcoming live-action Barbie movie. While she had to eventually drop out due to scheduling conflicts – which we’re totally bummed over, we still enjoy her motivational musings about body image. Take her comeback to weightshamers on Instagram, where she proudly attested “Is it fatshaming if you know you’re not fat and have zero shame in your game? I am strong and proud of how I live my life and say what I mean and fight for what I believe in and I have a blast doing it with the people I love.”

“Learning to be grateful for our bodies and taking care of them are the best ways for us to empower ourselves physically, mentally, and spiritually.” - Demi Lovato

Chris Pratt

Lady Gaga

Demi Lovato

From #NoMakeupMonday posts on Instagram to hitting back at haters leaving unsolicited comments about her weight and body, Demi Lovato has been serving inspiration all round with her no-holds-barred approach. Besides overcoming bulimia and continuously winning the fight against bipolar disorder, she has also made fitness her priority – regularly uploading photos and videos of her progress while killin’ it at the gym. Even Demi’s latest music has reflected her winning streak, showcasing fearless self-assurance that earned her a Grammy nomination with Confident. What’s wrong with being confident? Certainly nothing.

There are a ‘Million Reasons’ to love Lady Gaga, but even more so after witnessing her stand against bodyshaming trolls who emerged after her Super Bowl 2017 performance. Despite her medley receiving rave reviews, it also gained attention for something else – her weight. We aren’t going into the ridiculous details, but these criticisms prompted a defensive outcry from her legion of Little Monsters. But it was Gaga herself that put an end to the negativity, powerfully stating in an Instagram post, “I’m proud of my body and you should be proud of yours too. No matter who you are or what you do. Be you, and be relentlessly you. That’s the stuff of champions.” Truly spoken like one, Gaga!

57

Firing up the silver screen with his abs and sense of humour as Star-Lord in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, who would have thought that funny man Chris Pratt would also have body image insecurities? The charismatic actor initially lost weight and then bulked back up for the Marvel role, but he has openly declared that he misses his old, “fat” self and admitted to emotional eating. He even confronts unconstructive criticism head on with wit, posting a “selfie” of a T-rex skull (presumably from the set of his upcoming film Jurassic World 2) as a joke, in response to comments that he looked “skeletal”. Well if there’s one way to deal with body issues, we could all learn a thing from the Pratt man – with honesty and tons of humour.

Channing Tatum He might be dancing shirtless on the big screen in the Magic Mike movies, but Channing Tatum has not shied away from admitting that those washboard abs were unrealistic and totally temporary. In fact, the charming actor revealed in interviews that he would much rather pursue the ‘Dad bod’ trend, where it encourages males to be comfortable in their appearance and not always aim for a ripped physique. The media makes it easy to assume unrealistic body standards applies mostly to women, but we’re all for a male celebrity like Channing shedding light that guys suffer from it too.

So Good – Zara Larsson

While Zara Larsson’s been sweeping the airwaves with hits like dance-pop anthem ‘Lush Life’ to Ed Sheeran-assisted ditty ‘Don’t Let Me Be Yours’, the Swedish beauty has yet to cement a unique sound. With that being said, we’re positive it’ll only be a matter of time before the girl with the “big voice and even bigger personality” releases an album that will truly do her talent justice.

Memories… Do Not Open – The Chainsmokers

Who would have known that the duo behind the widely panned 2014 track, ‘#SELFIE’ would have gone on to gain as much success as they did, but boy did they shatter expectations. If their positively received first three singles, ‘Paris’, ‘The One’ and ‘Something Just Like This’ (featuring a collaboration with Coldplay), are any indication, we think their debut studio album will be the start of an amazing musical chapter.

Pirates Of The Caribbean: Salazar’s Revenge

Flight Log: Arrival – GOT7

The fifth installment in the long-standing series will see Captain Jack Sparrow on the search for the legendary Trident of Poseidon while on the run from Armando Salazar – an old rival who is on a mission to kill every pirate at sea. While we’re glad to see Orlando Bloom reprise his role as William Turner, it’s the promise of a Paul McCartney cameo that has got us buzzing!

King Arthur: Legend Of The Sword

Guy Ritchie returns to the director’s seat with his stylised twist on the classic Excalibur myth. With no idea about his birthright, a young Arthur was left to his own devices on the streets – until the fateful day he pulled the sword Excalibur from the stone. Instantly confronted by the power of the sword, Arthur is forced to embrace his true legacy, whether he’s ready for it or not.

A year into their aviation-themed journey that began with Departure and followed up by Turbulence, the South Korean boyband is finally closing the book on their Flight Log series. One major highlight off the heavily EDM-inspired album is ‘Sign’, whilst a ballad, is arguably one of their most vocally mature ditties to date. It’s safe to say the boys stuck the landing with this one!

Games Begin! Trampoline parks and laser tag aren’t the only ways to have fun while working up a sweat. Here are five unconventional ‘sports’ to get into! By bryan yeong

If you’ve always wanted to try an alternative water sport, or simply wondered what it’s like to be a gondolier, Stand-Up Paddling offers a similar experience by allowing participants to balance on a board while rowing at sea. It might look easy enough, but one go at the sport will have you realising that the simple act of coordinating your body to stay upright isn’t as smooth sailing as you thought it would be. The recreational sport trains your arms, thighs and balance too, so it’s no surprise that adventurous celebrities such as Rihanna, Nicole Richie and Ed Sheeran have taken to it.

Land Paddling Should you have a fear of water, or simply just do not want to get your hair wet, opt for Land Paddling instead. Like Stand-Up Paddling, Land Paddling requires you to stand on a skateboard with a Kahuna stick in its stead. Imagine rowing your skateboard in the heart of the city between appointments – not only will you attract confused looks from passersby, but it’ll likely make motorised scooter enthusiasts seriously envious of your cooler transportation!

How to Participate: Lane Paddling equipment is available for rental from outerquadrant.com. Find out more at www.facebook.com/LandPaddleSingapore

Mermaid Swimming Who says you can’t be a part of Ariel’s world? Sign up for mermaid lessons with Singapore’s first mermaid Syrena, and experience firsthand what it takes to become one through intense swimming sessions while encased in a mer-tail, all while getting toned abs to boot. While you’ll be able to learn all about the mythology and culture of mermaids, there are four progressive levels that train you to gradually become graceful underwater – you won’t even need to know how to swim like a pro, just basic swimming and treading skills are enough for a splashing good time!

How to Participate: Mermaid School classes are available upon enquiry at www.themermaidsyrena.com

Quidditch Potterheads rejoice! With a little imagination, you can now play Quidditch IRL. Already an ‘official’ sport and college staple overseas, this Harry Potter favourite was first introduced in Singapore back in 2012. While there haven’t been any licensed events organised yet, it shouldn’t stop you from trying your hand (or wands) at DIY-ing your own Quidditch pitch at the park or beach over the weekend with your friends.

How to: Similar to Captain’s Ball, replace the conventional goalposts with three hula hoops of differing heights and fashion volleyballs as the ‘Quaffle’ and ‘Bludgers’. Toss a tennis ball into a sock, and attach it to a random player, for the ‘seeker’ to nab. The scoring system works same as in Qudditch. For true fanatics, take the game a step further by tucking a broomstick between your legs as a makeshift Firebolt so you can pretend you’re flying!

Doga Here’s an activity that won’t just benefit humans, but pups as well! Introducing Doga which, you guessed it, combines the serenity of yoga and accompaniment of dogs to make for a fun-filled session. And no, the furry friends won’t be sitting idle while their owners bust out yoga moves – there are also customisable poses that the pets can partake in. The initiative has already made waves in Hong Kong and Taiwan, so it wouldn’t be a surprise if the trend catches on in Singapore soon.

How to Participate: Keep up with local Doga activities at www.facebook.com/DogaSingapore

Squared Off Some ‘deskscaping’ will help you stay motivated. To make these Instagram-worthy frames for your air plants, all you have to do is spray stone-textured paint on wooden photo frames with the glass panes removed. Leave to dry before stringing them up with twine for hanging.

Play Tag These leather cup tags are perfect for spicing up your afternoon break. Measure the diameter of your cup, then cut out a leather strip 4cm longer than the diameter size. Print out a reverse version of your chosen word on a piece of paper. Apply acetone on a cloth and press down the printed side of the paper onto the right side of the leather tag. Once done, punch a hole on two ends of the leather strip and pin the two sides together. Finally, slide your cup into the leather strip.

Happy Birthday – taurus –

20 apr – 20 may You’ve been getting rather short-tempered with a good friend, which is puzzling as you’re usually pretty easy going. As much as you’d prefer to suppress your emotions, it’s time to get to the bottom of what’s been bothering you – the reason might be unexpected, but you’ll gain the perspective needed to fix the situation.

– Virgo –

– Gemini –

21 May – 20 Jun Your financial situation will take a hit this month, so it’s time to get wise about your spending habits! Keep a daily log of the items you spend on and try as best to cut out the unnecessary items from your expenditure, and do away with impulsive buying. While it’ll be tough, you’ll be grateful for those extra savings in time to come.

– Libra –

23 Aug – 22 Sep

23 Sep – 22 Oct

A multitude of options are headed your way and even though this is clearly your decision to make, get ready for an influx of opinions from everyone else. That’s not to say you won’t receive useful input, but the choice is ultimately up to you, so don’t feel pressured to buckle down to expectations. Follow your heart, you won’t be sorry!

You’ve been under immense pressure from a seemingly endless workload, but now that you’ve checked those off your to-do list, it’s time to reward yourself with a break. Take a week off to focus on yourself, go for a short vacation to a nearby country or indulge in a weekend staycation. You’ll return refreshed and ready to go!

– Capricorn –

– Aquarius –

An issue that you’ve put on the backburner will rear its head again this month. Take the time to address the problem once and for all, lest it spirals into a bigger problem. As frustrating as it may be to deal with it all over again, your close friends and family will offer their unfailing support during this difficult time.

Your relationship has gotten stuck in a rut and despite your efforts, seems like it’s headed for the gutter. Perhaps it’s the lack of communication, or maybe it’s because you’re headed on different paths – it’s time to share your thoughts and sort things out. You’ll feel better once you’ve done so, even if it leads to a breakup.

21 Jun – 22 Jul

23 Jul – 22 Aug

Things have been going rather well with a close friend, and you’ve been secretly wanting to take the relationship to the next level. Despite the fears that come with confessing your true feelings, do it anyway! You may end up finding out that he/she has been feeling the same way about you the whole time.

Being preoccupied with other people’s issues lately have caused your own priorities to take a backseat, but it’s high time to refocus your efforts and start working on yourself. While that spells less availability for friends who’ve been taking up too much of your time, they’ll soon realise the importance of putting your goals ahead of their admittedly minor problems.

– Scorpio –

– Sagittarius –

Scorpios aren’t afraid to be blunt, but your trademark honesty mayn’t be everyone’s cup of tea. While you may think it’s absurd having to reign in your opinions, learn how to express your thoughts in a less candid manner. You’ll realise that there’s always a better way to get your point across, and still see a positive change in their behaviour without hurting the other party.

With work, your social life and other personal commitments to attend to, the past few months have whizzed past without you spending quality time with your family. Instead of trying to squeeze more events into your schedule, redirect your focus into planning activities where the entire fam can join in. There’s nothing more important than family!

– pisces –

21 Mar – 19 Apr

It’s rare to see the usually placid Pisces all restless and ready to go, but this month will have you bouncing off the walls with energy! Channel this flow to good use; check off all the items on your todo list, meet up friends you’ve not seen in awhile, clean up your perpetually cluttered space... You’ll breeze through it in a jiffy!

You’ve been so caught up trying to fit into the cookie-cutter mould that you’ve lost sight of the fact that you shine brighter with your individuality. Ditch the odd behaviour and start reflecting on why you started acting out. Whether it’s to get accepted by your peers or to achieve online popularity, you’ll soon realise there’s nothing worth losing your unique traits over.
