Study and live on-campus with students from all over the world. Our summer 2023 courses: Creative Writing | Women, Gender and Representation | Sustainable Futures | Summer Science and Engineering Program | College Readiness Workshop. For femaleidentified students in grades 9-12. Our courses are non-credit, without the pressure of grades and competition.

Campus Life::

In-person classes go from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. After that, your time is yours. In the evenings, students can take part in activities such as open mic night and improv, or attend workshops on publishing, finding an agent and creating an author website. The program offers afterclass activities twice-a-day to enhance personal growth and creativity. Examples include:

Our house community enhances and enriches the academic experience of pre-college. Students live in assigned housing with fellow peers and a staff of current Smith students who serve as counselors. Each house has a live-in House Manager who provides support and guidance to both staff and students throughout the program. Students may have a roommate or a single room during our program.
