Welcome to Telitec Line Rental Thank you for choosing Telitec as your Line Rental provider. Please read through the following, which provides you with some useful information to help you enjoy our fantastic service.
LINE RENTAL SERVICE Telitec will now apply to take over your line from your current provider. Please ensure that you have provided Telitec with the correct information (full name and NIE or passport) and where possible please provide a copy of a recent invoice. If the application is rejected due to an incorrect name or NIE/passport the client will be charged an additional admin fee (15.00€) for each reapplication. The application to take over your line can take up to 20 working days and you will be notified as soon as the line has transferred to Telitec. Any calls that you make during this time will be charged by Movistar or your current provider. We will notify you by email to confirm when your line has transferred to Telitec.
If you change your account details (Name/Passport/NIE/Telephone Number/Address) in future with Movistar then please contact us to inform us of the changes. Any free calls that have been selected as a part of a package will begin when the ADSL and Line Rental are both active. Until this point the client shall pay for all calls. If the service activates before the 16th of the month the free minutes will be backdated to the beginning of the month. If the service activates after the 16th the free minutes will begin on the first day of the following month. If you have chosen the unlimited call package then the fair usage policy on this package restricts usage to 1000 minutes a month.
If you rent a telephone from Movistar, this will need to be returned to them once your landline rental has been transferred to Telitec. We have a range of telephones available should you wish to purchase one. Please contact our Sales department for more information on 965743473 or via email sales@telitec.net.
If you have any call packages with Movistar for international calls ("Planazo International") you must make sure this is cancelled with Movistar or it may stay active and you will continue to be billed for the package, even when the line is ported to Telitec. If you have problems cancelling any packages then please let us know at this point and we may be able to cancel them on your behalf. Telitec will not be responsible for claiming back the charges for these packages once the line has ported, as Movistar will not refund them.
Telitec will send you your monthly invoices by email. Please ensure that you have given us the correct email address and remember to inform us of any changes in future. All calls are billed per second. However, please note that when calling to mobiles you will always be charged the first minute and then per second thereafter.
If you dial service numbers abroad (for example 08xx numbers in the UK) please note that these are Premium rate calls. Please be aware maintenance includes basic support of the line. If there is a higher level technical problem that may require a visit by a Movistar engineer to rectify, this could result in a charge.
Telitec cannot be held responsible for any such charges as the network remains the property of Movistar. The charges incurred will be at the same level as any charges had the line remained with Movistar.
