Customer Satisfaction - Volume 1 Tennessee Log Homes – The Greatest Log Home on Earth™
Cindy & Matt Vince of Michigan built their retreat in order to enable their family to enjoy the beauty and wholesomeness of nature. The whole family has loved every minute of helping out with the construction on this vacation home. When it is not in use as a retreat for their family it will be rented to folks who want the experience staying in a log house in the woods. With access to a lake combined with abundant nature trails, this quality built home is a great investment!
Imperial Log Homes specializes in satisfied customers. Good things come in pairs. Paul and Ellen Price have joined forces and made their Tennessee Log Home dealership a success. These photos are the vacation retreat/rental property of Matt and Cindy Vince. The Vince's chose to build the Hollyview, a small floor plan with plenty of pizzaz! This retreat will be enjoyed for generations to come.

Customer Satisfaction - Volume 1 Tennessee Log Homes – The Greatest Log Home on Earth™
Don and Sue McKay, Mt. Horeb, Wisconsin “We have changed our minds, we just can't do it," Don and Sue lamented. Shocked into silence, Jeff Grundahl waited at the other end of the phone line for the other shoe to drop. With construction on their home due to begin in only 9 days, Jeff Grundahl of JG Development stood poised to break ground after 6 months of planning on the McKay's home. Don and Sue had decided to change from a conventional cedar home to their dream, a log home. Not quite knowing what to say, Jeff just said "Great!" He also reassured them that they wouldn't be disappointed with their decision. As a Tennessee Log Home Building Consultant, Jeff was well equipped to "change gears" and provide the McKay's with their heart's desire. Today Sue will still tell you "Every day when I come home, I feel like I am on vacation." The house is a custom design, nestled into a hill overlooking a calm valley, abounding with wild life. The interior boasts a grand stone fireplace with custom inlaid stained glass. The kitchen is hickory and is clad with solid granite counter tops. There are many features that make this home a dream come true.

Customer Satisfaction - Volume 1 Tennessee Log Homes – The Greatest Log Home on Earth™
Ellen and Paul Price really did their homework. When they decided they wanted to build a log home, they started looking around, researching log home manufacturers and making comparisons. Because Paul is a builder, they did careful comparisons. “We soon realized that TLH was the one for us. From it being a family owned business from the start, to the friendly staff and Building Consultants, we decided to be part of the Tennessee Log Home family, and that's what it's been for the past 11 years, FAMILY. Paul says the quality of materials impressed him. He couldn't hand pick the lumber any better. From the logs being log wall grade 40 to the Douglas Fir beams and rafters, we knew we made the right choice!!
The Price’s of Imperial Log Homes are very accomplished in pleasing their Tennessee Log Home Customers. They not only sell log home packages to their customers, but also act as project managers for the job. Paul has been in the construction business for 26 years. He now specializes in Log Homes. The home that they wound up with is truly unique, as is their story. Ellen and Paul not only became happy customers, they decided to join our company as Local Building Consultants in Michigan. What a dynamic duo they turned out to be! Their happy customers are interspersed throughout these E-Mags.
Customer Service and Happy Homeowners are what the Prices, otherwise known as Imperial Log Homes, are all about. “Through the years of building peoples dreams, we became very close friends with all of our clients. We were hands on with them through the building process, and a lot of them made the comment that they were surprised Paul didn't come with the house!!! Still to this day we visit with them and they are all still very happy with their Tennessee Log Homes,” Ellen said.

Paul and Ellen make great use of the wrap around deck and porch. Because this modified Lakeview plan is situated on a walk-out basement, they have plenty of living area and storage space.

Customer Satisfaction - Volume 1 Tennessee Log Homes – The Greatest Log Home on Earth™
Bill and Sandy Gallagher began in 2000 developing their plans to retire in 2003. These plans included a log home overlooking the Blue Ridge Parkway Mountains in Virginia. Today, as a result of careful planning and research, they bask in their sunwarmed living room as the cold winds howl up on Afton Mountain. They are sharing with us some of the experiences that they had. Building
their retirement home while living almost 400 miles away posed a few challenges! "We could not have done it without a trustworthy Building Consultant and a skilled, honest builder (like Rich Mencl and Scott Bendle of Wintergreen, VA)! We love the outdoors and wanted to feel close to nature while enjoying the comforts of a custom, modern log home in which we could live the rest of our lives. Rich worked with us to effectively incorporate changes into the Lakeview model which would compliment our lifestyle. Since we value the outdoors we wanted more deck so we could enjoy the beautiful views and soak away pains in our hot tub. 'No problem!' was the standard answer we got from Rich when customizing the kitchen, adding doors and windows to take advantage for the view, adding a skylight, etc. TLH incorporated our changes flawlessly and delivered our log home package to Banksiana Ridge between the many rainstorms in June of 2003."

Customer Satisfaction - Volume 1 Tennessee Log Homes – The Greatest Log Home on Earth™
Mike and Lynn Briggs from Alpharetta, Georgia contacted local Tennessee Log Home Building Consultant, Freddie Pethel early into their planning stages for their retirement home on a beautiful lake in North Georgia. With a sketch on graphed accounting paper, and ideas based on experience, they made an appointment with our Design Center to sit down and begin. This quote from Mike Briggs was sent to us. Mike praised Robert Lambert, General Manager or TLH and Dianne Wilson, VP of the Design Center for their help as well as everyone he has dealt with at TLH.
“Besides the unique design of the home, there are a couple of features that I think will attract attention. The stone work and fireplaces are outstanding, the stairway with bar and wine room will be different. The kitchen is a William Ohm, complete with island and will be an eye catcher as well as the outside kitchen with a spectacular view. The library is a two story to be accessed by an elevator. In addition we will have a 1500 sq ft garage with apartment over it. On top of that we have worked hard with a company to make this a "smart home" in regards to lighting, audio visual and security. I will be able to access all the info on these items by computer at remote locations. I could light the fireplace from the San Juan Islands if I so desired," Mike said.

The gazebo and pavilion overlooking the lake are favorite relaxation spots. Views and outdoor living are priorities for the Briggs at their lakeside retreat in Georgia.
