Dennis and Kathy Johnson did plenty
of careful planning before the retreat was built. Extraordinary even at first glance, this beautiful log home is fully wired for technology. Even the home's heating system is wired into the phone for convenience so that they can call ahead during the two-hour drive from Boise to set the temperature. When they walk in the door the house is warm and toasty.
The Johnson's Rivermyst is from the Tennessee Log Homes Elk River Collection. Located in the beautiful mountain paradise near McCall, Idaho, the vistas captured within these windows are breathtaking.

Customer Satisfaction – Volume 3 Tennessee Log Homes – The Greatest Log Home on Earth™
The Williams are solid proof that a marriage (be it long or short in duration) CAN survive building a house! After 10 years of marriage and planning, Roger and Tiffany Williams have accomplished what amounts to an amazing feat.
Tiffany drew up plans 10 years ago for a classic farm house. Her dream home conflicted with Roger's desire for log. Did they compromise? You bet they did! Thanks to The Williams for sharing their home with us! What we are sharing with you is Tiffany's plan executed in handcrafted log. Her stipulations? Everything is round (as opposed to square) and it is NOT country. The only notable exception is the mounted deer head proudly displayed above the fireplace mantle. Tiffany explained that the deer was shot on their property - she graciously hung it herself! The floor plan stayed the same. Nestled at the foot of Starr Mountain in beautiful East Tennessee, this home would be a traffic stopper (if there was any traffic to speak of). The property, a good sized farm, was sold off in multiple acre tracts a few years ago. Tranquil describes this beautiful setting.

Customer Satisfaction – Volume 3 Tennessee Log Homes – The Greatest Log Home on Earth™
It all started on a bike ride along a beautiful mountain lake in Northern California and a side trip into a wooded golf course community. Two years later, after 7 ½ months of construction, Marc and Cheryl Vieira are now enjoying the beauty and comfort of their single story Yellowstone model.
The Vieira’s have found that their log home dreams have truly come true!
Their experience with Tennessee Log Homes has been a very positive one from the design phase to the move-in. Construction was headed by a local general contractor who had already built a Tennessee Log Homes' Tellico model for the Vieira’s dealers, Jerry and Gil Moreno. The beauty of the knotty pine doors, log walls and the tongue and groove is emphasized by the contrast of dry wall throughout the house.
