George Roy has these kind words, "Dealing with Tennessee Log Homes has been a great experience for Patti and me from the very first time we met with Bob Carper, a little over a year ago when we were just in the thinking stages of building a log home. We had no idea of what was involved in building a log home, we just knew we wanted one for our second home.
Patti and I are very pleased with the
quality and craftsmanship of our new Tennessee Log Home and would not hesitate to recommend one to anybody that might be thinking of building a log home." What a fabulous retreat they have created! The Trenton is a great choice.

customers like Rick and Kayla Patenaude.
THIS BEAUTIFUL HOME IS A MIXTURE OF OUR NATURAL ELEMENTS MATERIALS WITH HAND HEWN LOG WALLS, TIMBER FRAME ROOF SYSTEM, AND NATURAL STONEWORK.
"We were inspired by the timelessness of the log homes in Cades Cove in the Smoky Mountains. When you walk into one of those log homes, you just want to sit down, watch the fire, chat, feel cozy - just be there. It was on that vacation that we decided a log house would create the kind of long-lasting home that we could pass on for generations to come. One night shortly after we moved in,
Rick said, "I think we have created something that will outlive us." That timelessness is what the settlers in Cades Cove created, and we feel we have done the same with our Tennessee Log Home. People who come to visit say they feel at home right away, and that's what makes us sure we made the right choice," Kayla said.
Kayla added, "Our builder, Jeff French, who also lives in Henniker, had an excellent experience working with Bob. Any project of this scope requires a lot of logistics and engineering. Bob made things run smoothly. Between Bob and Jeff, our homebuilding experience was anything but stressful; it was fun, rewarding, and downright easy. Jeff couldn't say enough good about the quality of the materials in the log home package. The quality shines right through in the finished product." Bill Long is quick to sing the praises of his builders. He recognizes the excellence of North Georgia Log Homes' craftsmen, in particular, contractor Stan Tatum and his family of crew members. Bill said, "Stan was a magician with a chain saw, I was amazed. He had great suggestions and solutions as we did the finish work."
Betsy and Bill Long wrote in a thank you note to TLH Design Expert Dianne Wilson, "Thank you so much for your part in making it (our home) all possible. It was a pleasure working with you!"

Customer Satisfaction – Volume 7 Tennessee Log Homes – The Greatest Log Home on Earth™
Stephanie and David Dyer love their mountain home. A true timberframe structure, this home is chocked full of natural elements. "Architectural appeal" sums up the description for this plan. Stephanie was a bit more exuberant, "This is the most livable house! I am a nester and feared it might be too big. It's just perfect; cozy, warm feeling, we could not be more pleased!"
The addition of the porta cochere enables groceries to be brought into kitchen without getting caught in the rain and serves as a weatherproof guest entrance.
