Smart Belts Smart belts represent a new concept of belts, which do various tasks, from offering a greater flexibility to tracking steps and connecting to a smartphone, however, fewer brands explored this opportunity and developed this product.
WELT WELT Corporation introduced WELT, a healthiness and fashionable belt (Figure 8), which measures the waist circumference, monitor eating habits, performs gait analysis and tracks steps and sitting times. The belt connects via Bluetooth to a smartphone and shows data. It comes in various colours and styles for both men and women and the price varies between $129-199 (WELT 2020). Figure 8.
