Bad Bunny Plots Intimate ‘Most Wanted Tour’ to Showcase New Trap Sound

After a massive 2022 that saw him become the top global touring artist, Puerto Rican superstar Bad Bunny is returning to the road in 2024 for an intimate arena tour across North America. Promoted by Live Nation, the 31-city “Most Wanted Tour” will feature 47 shows giving fans a chance to see the Grammy winner in a scaled-down setting compared to his last outing.
The staggering run kicks off on February 21st at the Delta Center in Salt Lake City and includes multiple nights in major markets like Las Vegas, Phoenix, San Francisco, Austin, Atlanta, Orlando and others. Bad Bunny will play three nights each in Los Angeles, Chicago and New York, as well as two shows at the Toyota Center in Houston on April 30th and May 1st before
wrapping up with three consecutive performances at the Kaseya Center in Miami in late May.
The “Most Wanted Tour” will give fans their first extended look at Bad Bunny’s surprise October 2023 album “Nadie Sabe Lo Que Va Pasar Mañana.” Marking his return to his trap roots, the album quickly became the most-streamed in a single day on Spotify last year, amassing over 900 million streams led by the hit single “MONACO” which topped Spotify’s charts in 16 countries.
While promoting a more intimate concert experience, the tour is still expected to be one of 2024’s biggest draws thanks to the album’s runaway success and Bad Bunny’s unprecedented global popularity coming off his 2022 smash “Un Verano Sin Ti.” That album spent 13 non-consecutive weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 on its way to
winning the Grammy for Best Musica Urbana Album.
Early hints of “Nadie Sabe Lo Que Va Pasar Mañana’s” title began surfacing last May when Bad Bunny’s “Where She Goes” video featured a billboard stating “Nadie sabe...” In the months before the album’s release, Spotify billboards reading “Nobody knows if it will be this year or next” appeared across Latin America teasing the highlyanticipated project.
In a Vanity Fair interview, Bad Bunny revealed he was “experimenting with a new musical mood” on the album, pulling influence from 1970s music across genres “in both Spanish and English” as he aimed to create an album unlike its predecessor “Un Verano Sin Ti.” He called the new

project, which features guest appearances from Arcángel, Bryant Myers, Feid and others, his “most personal yet.”
The surprise release of “Nadie Sabe Lo Que Va Pasar Mañana” caps off a meteoric rise over the past decade for the 29-year-old artist born Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio. After growing up in Puerto Rico idolizing salsa singers like Héctor Lavoe and reggaeton stars like Daddy Yankee, Bad Bunny began pursuing a music career while studying audiovisual communication and working as a grocery store bagger.
He first broke through in 2016 when the reggaeton DJ Luian caught wind of his song “Diles” and signed him to his Hear This Music label. Bad Bunny’s breakthrough single “Soy Peor” arrived in late 2016, peaking at No. 22 on the Hot Latin Songs chart and establishing his trapinfluenced sound.
A prolific string of singles like “Pa Ti”, “Loco Pero Millonario” and high-profile collaborations quickly followed, including 2017 hits with Ñengo Flow, Arcangel, Ozuna and others. Towards the end of that year, Bad Bunny appeared on the J Balvin and Prince Royce smash “Sensualidad” before teaming up with Balvin and Cardi B in 2018 on the Billboard Hot 100 No. 1 hit “I Like It.”
On Christmas Eve 2018, Bad Bunny capitalized on his momentum by surprise releasing his debut studio album “X 100pre” to universal acclaim. Co-produced by reggaeton legend Tainy, the genre-blending set mixed styles like pop-punk, R&B and hip-hop while still centering Bad Bunny’s trap and reggaeton roots. It
topped the Top Latin Albums chart and crossed over to the Billboard 200.
Just six months later, he collaborated with J Balvin on the joint album “Oasis,” which peaked at No. 9 on the Billboard 200 and won Best Urban Album at the Latin Grammys. He quickly followed that in February 2020 with his solo sophomore effort “YHLQMDLG,” which became one of the first all-Spanish albums to debut at No. 2 on the Billboard 200.
As the pandemic hit, Bad Bunny continued his prolific run, surprise releasing the compilation “Las Que No Iban a Salir” featuring unreleased tracks and guests like Don Omar and Nicky Jam. Then in November 2020, he unveiled “El Último Tour Del Mundo” which found him experimenting with indie and alternative sounds inspired by bands like The Cure and Radiohead.
The stage was set for 2022’s blockbuster “Un Verano Sin Ti,” which spent three months atop the Billboard 200 thanks to smashes like
“Moscow Mule” while winning the Grammy for Best Musica Urbana Album. The album continued Bad Bunny’s musical reinvention, blending reggaeton with Caribbean rhythms and unlikely collaborations.
While taking much of 2023 off aside from festival gigs at Coachella, Bad Bunny still managed hits like “Where She Goes” and guest spots with Travis Scott and The Weeknd. Now his highly-anticipated “Most Wanted Tour” promises to be an intimate spectacle showcasing his latest reinvention as a trailblazing voice in Latin trap and música urbana.
From humble grocery store beginnings to becoming a Grammywinning global icon, Bad Bunny has cemented himself as one of this generation’s most vital artists. The Resilient Journey of Quiet Riot
Quiet Riot, a rock & roll phenomenon, etched its name in history as the first heavy metal band to claim the coveted #1 spot on the Billboard pop chart with their monumental 1983 album “Metal Health.” Hailing from Los Angeles, this quartet became an overnight sensation with their undeniable smash hits.
Recently, legendary bassist and founding member of “Metal Health,” Rudy Sarzo, has made a triumphant return to Quiet
Riot after an absence of almost 20 years. This decision aligns with the wishes of Frankie Banali, who sadly passed away in 2020. With the blessing of the Banali estate, Quiet Riot embarks on its historic journey in 2022, featuring the talents of guitarist Alex Grossi, vocalist Jizzy Pearl, and the addition of Type O Negative drummer Johnny Kelly.
The saga of Quiet Riot begins back in 1980 when Kevin DuBrow initiated a new musical endeavor under his name, collaborating with Frankie Banali and various musicians. They later signed with Pasha/CBS Records, reclaimed the Quiet Riot moniker, and teamed up with new guitarist Carlos Cavazo and bassist Chuck Wright to craft a new album. It was in 1982, following the tragic loss of Randy Rhoads, that Rudy Sarzo left Ozzy Osbourne’s band to join Quiet Riot, completing the lineup for what would become the iconic “Metal Health” album of 1983.
Fueled by the powerhouse bassline of the title track and a raucous rendition of Slade’s classic “Cum on Feel the Noize,” “Metal Health” soared up the charts, landing at the coveted number one spot. The album achieved platinum status five times over in the U.S., eventually crossing the 10 million sales mark worldwide.
Quiet Riot continued their musical journey with the release of “Condition Critical” in 1984, which sold over 2 million copies in the U.S., featuring hits like “Mama Weer All Crazee Now” and “Party All Night.” In 1986, the band regrouped for “QR III,” with Paul Shortino taking over vocal duties. The years that followed saw various lineup changes, with different vocalists and bassists stepping in and out of the spotlight.
In 1997, a special performance at an after-show party hosted by Marilyn Manson lured Rudy Sarzo back to Quiet Riot, sparking a renewed energy in the band. They hit the road once again, captivating audiences across continents. The lineup at this time was documented on the 1999 album “Alive and Well,” followed by “Guilty Pleasures” in 2001.
Tragedy struck in November 2007 with the untimely passing of Kevin DuBrow, marking a somber chapter in Quiet Riot’s history. However, fueled by their dedication to the music and the legacy of their fallen bandmate, Frankie Banali, Chuck Wright, Alex Grossi, and later Jizzy Pearl and Johnny Kelly, continued to carry the torch of Quiet Riot.
Despite challenges and changes, Quiet Riot persevered, with Banali bravely battling cancer until December 2019. In honor of Frankie’s wishes, Johnny Kelly stepped in as the new drummer, continuing the band’s legacy. The recent return of Rudy Sarzo adds another exciting chapter to Quiet Riot’s story, as they look ahead to a future of touring and

recording, carrying on the enduring spirit of their legendary rock & roll journey into 2022 and beyond.
The Journey of Slaughter: A Rock Saga
Hailing from the vibrant music scene of Las Vegas, Nevada, Slaughter emerged in 1988, led by the dynamic duo of Mark Slaughter on vocals and rhythm guitar, alongside bassist Dana Strum. With Tim Kelly on guitars and Blas Elias on drums, the band burst into the rock scene with a fiery energy.
Their debut album, “Stick It To Ya,” released in 1990, catapulted them to stardom with its raw, unapologetic rock anthems. Hits like “Up All Night,” “Spend My Life,” “Mad About You,” and “Fly to the Angels” dominated the airwaves, propelling the album to double platinum status in the United States.
Amidst the whirlwind of success, Slaughter remained a steadfast presence in national tours, often headlining the Rock Never Stops Tour alongside fellow rock legends of the era.
Unlike some of their counterparts who faded with the rise of alternative music, Slaughter persisted, churning out new records and thrilling audiences worldwide. In 1992, they unleashed their second album, “The Wild Life,” which went platinum and featured the Billboard Hot 100 hit “Real Love.”
However, challenges soon loomed on the horizon. In 1993, guitarist Tim Kelly faced legal troubles related to drug trafficking, while Dana Strum suffered a motorcycle accident that jeopardized his ability to play. Undeterred, the band pressed on, navigating through setbacks as they poured their hearts into their music.
By February 1994, with Strum fully
recovered, they completed their next album, switching to CMC Records for its release. “Fear No Evil” hit the shelves in 1995, finding considerable success in Japan despite lukewarm reception in the US. Guitarist Dave Marshall stepped in for Kelly during this period, holding down the fort during the guitarist’s legal battles.
When Kelly’s legal woes were behind him, Slaughter forged ahead with their next venture. In 1997, “Revolution” emerged, showcasing a more experimental, psychedelic sound that, unfortunately, went largely unnoticed by mainstream media.
Tragedy struck the band on February 5, 1998, when Tim Kelly lost his life in a devastating auto accident in the Arizona desert. The loss reverberated through the
band, but their dedication to their craft remained unshaken.
With guitarist Dave Marshall stepping in for live performances, the band continued their journey. In 1999, they welcomed Jeff Blando as Kelly’s replacement, releasing the live album “Eternal Live” to commemorate their time with Kelly.
Resurging with “Back to Reality” in 1999, featuring Blando’s fierce guitar work, Slaughter once again found their stride. The band continued to grace rock package tours, sharing stages with the luminaries of the glam era from the late ’80s and early ’90s.
Their music found new life during the summer of 1999 with the “Rock Never Stops Tour,” as “Fly To The Angels” soared to the top of charts. “Up All Night” followed suit, becoming a chart-topper on Rhino Records’ “Hard Hitters.” The Summer 2000 tour alongside Poison, Cinderella, and Dokken further solidified their place in rock history.
In 2001, Slaughter joined the “Voices of Metal” tour, alongside Vince Neil, Ratt, and Vixen, continuing to captivate audiences with their electrifying performances.
Throughout their journey, Mark Slaughter and Dana Strum’s former bandmate Bobby Rock from Vinnie Vincent Invasion lent his drumming prowess to Slaughter’s live shows, filling in for Elias on occasions during the Rock Never Stops Tour.
As the years rolled on, Slaughter’s legacy continued to grow. In April 2004, they gifted fans with the release of “Then and Now,” a DVD-A featuring 12 of their timeless tracks and a treasure trove of 50 rare band photos, a testament to their enduring presence in the annals of rock history.

Diamond Rio Perform At Dosey Doe In the Woodlands
Diamond Rio is set to grace the stage for an intimate concert at Dosey Doe in The Woodlands on April 28th, offering fans a special night of their timeless country melodies.
With a musical journey spanning over three decades, Diamond Rio recently made waves with the announcement of new music and changes within the band. Their latest release, “The Kick,” not only highlights the exceptional talents of this Grammy awardwinning group but also marks a new chapter with the addition of two fresh faces to the lineup.
Originally formed in 1989, the iconic six-time Vocal Group of the Year, Diamond Rio, consisted of Marty Roe (lead vocals), Jimmy Olander (guitar/banjo), Dana Williams (bass/vocals), Dan Truman (piano), Brian Prout (drums), and Gene Johnson (mandolin/ vocals). However, after an illustrious 33-year run, the band bid farewell to retiring members Brian Prout and Gene Johnson, welcoming Carson McKee (fiddle/harmony vocals) and Micah Schweinsberg (drums) into the fold.
“The Kick” serves as the debut song and video under this new lineup, showcasing the mastery of their instruments with a captivating blend of country and bluegrass. The energetic and musically rich track features the two new members prominently, as seen in the accompanying music video filmed in Franklin, TN. Directed by the band’s drummer and newest addition, Micah Schweinsberg, the video was developed and written by long-time guitar player Jimmy
Olander.
Originating as The Tennessee River Boys in the 1980s, the group evolved into Diamond Rio in 1989. Signing with Arista Nashville the following year, they made history in 1991 with the release of “Meet in The Middle,” becoming the first country music group to achieve No. 1 with a debut single. Their impressive repertoire includes chart-topping hits such as “How Your Love Makes Me Feel,” crossover sensation “One More Day,” and timeless classics like “Beautiful Mess” and “Unbelievable.”
Having sold over 6.8 million albums and amassing more than 1.05 billion global streams, Diamond Rio boasts an impressive track record with 20 Top 10 singles, 15 Top 5 singles, and seven No. 1 hits. Get ready for an unforgettable night of romance and musical brilliance as Conjunto Primavera takes the stage at The Arena Theatre on April 6th. Hailing from Chihuahua, Mexico, Conjunto Primavera is not just any ordinary group; they are a best-selling, multi-Latin Grammy-winning ensemble that emerged from the explosive norteño scene of the 1990s.
Founded by the talented saxophonist Juan Dominguez in 1978, Conjunto Primavera quickly made waves with their unique blend of rancheras, boleros, and ballads. Their early regional success was evident with the release of the lively “Cuatro Primaveras” in 1980. As the years progressed, so did their sound, evolving to include not only the saxophone but also electric keyboards, as showcased in their 1986 album “Con las Manos Vacias”.

Pérez on bajo sexto, Francisco “Frank” Mata on electric bass, and Adrian Anthony Regalado on drums.
Their journey began with performances at local venues, gradually gaining recognition before signing a recording contract with Joey Records, an independent regional Mexican label based in San Antonio, Texas. The release of their breakthrough album “Me Nortié” in 1993 marked a turning point, leading to their debut on AFG Sigma Records.

Southern California punk legends Social Distortion and Bad Religion have announced an epic co-headlining tour across the U.S. that kicks off in Bakersfield, California on April 9, 2024. With additional support from The Lovebombs, the two iconic bands will join forces to bring their signature sounds and beloved catalogs to stages across the continent, showcasing their enduring legacy and influence on the punk rock movement.
As detailed in the announcement, Southern California punk legends Social Distortion and Bad Religion are set to embark on this epic co-headlining tour across America in Spring 2024. Formed as rebellious teenage punks in the working-class Fullerton suburb, Social Distortion survived their tumultuous youth to pioneer an undeniably honest and fiery punk rock brand incorporating outlaw country, classic 70s punk and primal blues. Seven studio albums and countless electrifying live shows have earned them a dedicated worldwide fanbase and catalog of timeless anthems like “Story Of My Life,” “Ball And Chain,” and “Prison Bound.” Their 2011 album ‘Hard Times And Nursery Rhymes’ hit #4 on the Billboard 200, and they celebrated 40 years as a band in 2019.

Social Distortion: Punk Legends Persevere
The story of Social Distortion is one of perseverance and unwavering dedication to their punk rock roots. Formed in 1978 by singer/guitarist Mike Ness amid the fertile Los Angeles hardcore scene, the band weathered numerous lineup changes, the decline of the L.A. punk movement that birthed them, and even Ness’ own struggles with heroin addiction. Through it all, their gritty, roots-inspired punk sound endured.
Originally featuring Ness, drummer Casey Royer, and brothers Frank and Rikk Agnew on bass and guitar respectively, Social Distortion quickly
established themselves as torchbearers of SoCal punk. Their 1983 debut Mommy’s Little Monster, with its Rolling Stonesmeets-punk sound, produced the MTV punk video rarity “Another State of Mind.”
But the band’s trajectory wasn’t smooth. Ness’ heroin use and rebellious behavior stalled their momentum, leading to a four-year gap before the country-tinged Prison Bound in 1988. Their self-titled 1990 album, featuring the Johnny Cash cover “Ring of Fire,” returned them to MTV with “Ball and Chain.”
The 1992 breakthrough Somewhere Between Heaven and Hell merged Social D’s punk roots with blues, country and rockabilly influences. It became their most popular record to date, scoring a minor hit with “Bad Luck.”
After a mid-90s hiatus, they returned with White Light, White Heat, White Trash and recruited ex-Black Flag drummer Chuck Biscuits. Ness briefly

The 2004 album Sex, Love and Rock ‘n’ Roll preceded another long break before 2011’s Hard Times and Nursery Rhymes updated their classic hybrid punk sound. Through decades of turmoil, Social Distortion’s rousing, honest and defiant music kept carrying the torch for SoCal punk.
Bad Religion: Punk Lifers Stay Righteously Angry
Of all the defiant hardcore punk bands to emerge from the early 80s Southern California scene, Bad Religion proved the most enduring. While vocalist Greg Graffin remained the sole constant member through numerous lineup changes over four decades, the band’s musical attack continuously evolved.
Bad Religion formed in Los Angeles suburbs in 1980, anchored by guitarist Brett Gurewitz, Graffin on vocals, bassist Jay Bentley and drummer Jay Ziskrout. Gurewitz launched Epitaph Records to release their aggressive, musically dexterous early albums like 1982’s How Could Hell Be Any Worse? and Into the Unknown, which controversially experimented with prog rock bombast.
Personnel shuffles and hiatuses didn’t stop their momentum. Graffin’s only original bandmate by 1987, he regrouped with Gurewitz, Bentley, and new guitarist Greg Hetson for the seminal Suffer. That galvanizing 1988 album restored their hardcore cred and sparked a prolific run including No Control, Against the Grain and their 1993 mainstream breakthrough Recipe for Hate.
Now firmly an alternative rock crossover act, Bad Religion jumped to Atlantic Records for 1994’s Stranger
Than Fiction, their first and final album with co-founder Gurewitz. The Gray Race and No Substance followed before the Todd Rundgren-produced New America led them back to the independent Epitaph label in 2000.
With Gurewitz’s return after six years, 2002’s The Process of Belief reignited their fury, kicking off a blistering run of politically charged punk albums like The Empire Strikes First, railing against Bush-era policies. The potent 2007 polemic New Maps of Hell and 2019’s Age of Unreason proved Bad Religion still burned with anarchic fire after all these years.
Through countless lineups, Bad Religion never lost their trademark blend of hardcore intensity, progressive musicality and Graffin’s socially conscious, intellectually biting lyrics. Their ability to evolve while staying steadfastly true to their punk principles ensures their iconic legacy.

Expressing his excitement for the tour, Satriani shared, “The Satch/Vai Tour is happening! I’m so looking forward to sharing the stage with Steve again. Every time we play together, it takes me back to when we
were teenagers, eating and breathing music every second of the day, pushing, challenging, and helping each other to be the best we could be. I guess we’ve never stopped!”

Two-time GRAMMY Award-winning sing-songwriter Lauren Daigle has announced the spring 2024 leg of “The Kaleidoscope Tour,” a continuation of her highly successful 2023 U.S. arena tour. She will be performing at Toyota Center in Houston on April 11th She will be bringing her tour to Houston in support of her most recent self-titled album “Lauren Daigle.”
Lauren Daigle is the eponymous fourth studio album by American contemporary Christian music and pop singer Lauren Daigle. Atlantic Records (in partnership with Centricity Music) released the first volume of the album on May 12, 2023 and the second volume (the complete album) on September 8, 2023. It is Daigle’s first album to be released as a mainstream pop record.
In an interview with Relevant Magazine’s Emily Brown, regarding the inspiration for the album, Daigle said that the writing started in October 2020 and the time period was influential. Daigle further echoes how she felt powerless and voiceless due to the state of the world and her personal life at the time, and that God orchestrated the right people at the right time, seeing this album as her “rebirth” and considering it an “incredible musical journey”.
While discussing the album with Zane Lowe from Apple Music 1, Daigle explained the reason for the album being self-titled. During a dinner with two of her friends, she talked about the struggle to name her album after two years of work. Her friends suggested it should be a self-titled record because Lauren had poured herself into it, and they witnessed a transformative journey throughout its creation. The decision to make it self-titled reflects the realization that it took her previous records to find her voice and express her love for the sound and recording process. In her own words, she stated, “It’s because it took those records to find my voice, to find the voice that I can stand on in front of people and say, this is what I love. I love this sound. I love the way that we recorded this record.”
“Thank God I Do” was released as the lead single from the album on March 8, 2023. The single failed to enter the US Billboard Hot 100, but reached number 11 on Bubbling Under Hot 100 Singles. It also peaked at No. 1 on the Billboard Christian Songs chart on the issue week of May 20, 2023. The single was released to Hot AC radio on March 13, 2023.
“Waiting” was released as a promotional single on March 30, 2023. The song peaked at No. 38 on the Christian Songs chart.
“These Are The Days” was released as the second single on September 8, 2023. It was accompanied by a music video posted to YouTube on August 22, 2023. The song peaked at No. 16 on the Christian Songs chart.
“Turbulent Skies “ was released as the
third single on November 3, 2023. The song peaked at No. 22 on the Christian Songs chart.
Possessing a smoky and striking alto singing voice, Grammy-winning singer and songwriter Lauren Daigle went to number one on the Billboard Christian chart with her first album, 2015’s How Can It Be. Having already drawn some comparisons to Adele, her more soulful follow-up, 2018’s Look Up Child, was an even bigger hit, reaching number three on the Billboard 200. The album’s lead single, “You Say,” broke the record for weeks at number one on the Hot Christian Songs chart (129). She returned to the top of that chart in 2021 with “Hold On to Me,” and again in 2023 with “Thank God I Do,” which appeared on her eponymous, popleaning fourth long-player.
Growing up in Lafayette, Louisiana, surrounded by gospel, zydeco, blues, and Cajun music, Christian praise & worship artist Lauren Daigle was always singing around the house as a child. However, it wasn’t until a serious illness kept her out of school for nearly two years beginning when she was 15 that she turned to music as both solace and a profession. Home-schooled during that time, music became Daigle’s hedge against social isolation, and she began singing at her local church as a praise & worship leader. Colleagues quickly encouraged her to try out for the American Idol television series, which she did in both 2010 and 2012.
The demanding process of trying out for the show taught her a lot of valuable lessons, and she returned home determined to sharpen her writing and singing skills. She began pursuing a degree in child and family studies at Louisiana State University, and while there, was asked by a local band to help with vocals on an EP. A demo of the EP made its way to Centricity Music, and the label signed Daigle as a solo artist in 2013. Her five-song debut EP, the Paul Mabury-
produced How Can It Be, was released in late 2014 and landed on the Christian charts. In the spring of 2015, How Can It Be was expanded into a full-length LP and became both a critical and commercial success, crossing over to reach number 30 on the Billboard 200 chart and eventually going platinum. It was nominated for a Grammy Award in 2016 for Best Contemporary Christian Music Album.
Daigle followed up in October 2016 with an album of soft jazz-inspired Christmas standards called Behold. It repeated the chart success of her debut. The next year saw her contribute the single “Almost Human” to the soundtrack for Blade Runner 2049, and she received her second Grammy nomination, this time in the category of Best Contemporary Christian Music Performance/Song for “Trust in You.” In early 2018, Daigle issued the single “You Say” ahead of the release of her sophomore full-length. The song marked her debut on the Hot 100, eventually reaching number 29, and the album, September 2018’s Look Up Child, became a Top Three hit in the U.S. It also charted in Australia and Switzerland. Before the end of the month, Daigle became the first artist to reach number one on five Christian charts simultaneously (albums, airplay, songs, streaming songs, and digital song sales). Early the following year, she collected Grammys for both “You Say” and Look Up Child (Best Contemporary Christian Music Performance/Song and Album).
Several singles appeared in 2021, including the Petey Martin collaboration “Come Back Home” and the solo single “Hold On to Me.” The latter track topped the Christian songs chart and landed in the Top 15 of Billboard’s adult contemporary chart. After another non-album single, “Tremble,” Daigle returned in early 2023 with the mainstream pop single “Thank God I Do,” the lead track from her self-titled third album. Lauren Daigle debuted at number 21 on the U.S. Billboard 200 and at number one on Top Christian Albums.

Los Invasores De Nuevo Leon Perform At The Arena Theater

The vibrant sounds of norteño music are set to echo through the halls of The Arena Theatre in Houston as the legendary Los Invasores de Nuevo Leon take the stage on Saturday, April 27th. Hailing from Monterrey, Mexico, this storied group has captivated audiences for decades with their infectious rhythms and heartfelt lyrics.
Founded in 1978 by vocalist Lalo Mora, backing vocalist/accordionist Javier Rios, bassist Homero de Leon, and drummer Eliud López, Los Invasores de Nuevo Leon began their musical journey by playing private parties, street fairs from the back of pickup trucks, and local stages. Their raw talent and undeniable energy quickly caught the attention of music lovers, leading to their first recording for DLV Discs in 1981.
The year 1982 marked a milestone for the band as they scored their first regional hit with the beloved track “Mi Casa Nueva,” which soon achieved gold status in Mexico.
This success was just the beginning, as their subsequent recordings for DLV Discs became radio and audience favorites, solidifying their place in the charts for years to come.
In 1993, Lalo Mora ventured into a solo career, and the band welcomed Isaias Lucero as his replacement. Their debut album with Lucero, “Playa Sola,” quickly achieved gold status, cementing the group’s reputation as norteño music icons. Despite Lucero’s departure shortly after, Los Invasores de Nuevo Leon continued to evolve, welcoming Rigo Marroquín (bajo sexto), vocalist Rolando Marroquín, and Luis Perales on bass, transforming the band into a sextet.
Their 1997 album, “Ventanas al Viento,” marked their international debut, followed by the blockbuster success of “Vuelvo Contigo” in the same year. This album, their first platinum recording, soared to the top of the Mexican regional charts and achieved gold status in the United States. The single “A Mí Qué Me Quedó” became an anthem across Mexico, remaining on the
radio charts for an impressive five months and earning the title of Song of the Year.
As the band entered the 21st century, they continued to push musical boundaries with albums like “Tiempo al Tiempo” and “No Soy de Palo,” featuring a collection of unpublished boleros. Their 2003 release, “Señal de Alerta,” showcased a diverse range of cumbias, boleros, and rancheras, captivating audiences with its eclectic sound.
Los Invasores de Nuevo Leon further solidified their place in the music scene with albums like “Los Más Buscados” in 2004, which added corridos to the mix, and “Corridos de Peligro” in 2005, a collection of intense narcocorridos that pushed artistic boundaries. Despite the challenging subject matter, their music continued to resonate with live audiences, showcasing the band’s versatility and passion.
In 2008, “Amor Aventurero” landed Los Invasores de Nuevo Leon in the Regional Top 40, followed by the success of “En Manos del Tiempo” in 2009. The band’s popularity continued to soar with hits like “Dejate Llevar,” which received widespread airplay across Latin America.
In a creative rebirth, Los Invasores de Nuevo Leon welcomed Lalo Mora back as lead vocalist in 2013, marking a turning point for the band. The album “Amistades” showcased the dynamic talents of Mora alongside Rios, with Javier Benavides joining as lead guitarist. This reunion sparked a renewed energy and passion for their music, setting the stage for their signing with Remex Music.
With the release of “Con la Luz Prendida,” Los Invasores de Nuevo Leon once again captivated audiences with their signature sound. The track received excellent airplay, paving the way for the full-length album “Mi Héroe.” The band continued to make waves in the music scene with hits like “Si Se Me” in 2015, showcasing their enduring appeal and musical prowess.
In a momentous achievement, Los Invasores de Nuevo Leon released their 50th album in the fall of 2016, a testament to their enduring legacy and unwavering dedication to their craft. Their most recent release, “40 Aniversario (Vol.1, Vol.2, Vol.3) en vivo,” in 2021, celebrated four decades of musical excellence and continues to resonate with fans worldwide.

After over a decade of forging fortitude from chaos and spiritual defiance, the revelation behind IDLES’ wildly ambitious new album ‘TANGK’ is as straightforward as it is transcendent: “All is love and love is all.”
The rousing fifth LP from the critically-acclaimed Bristol punks, due out February 16th, 2024 via Partisan Records, marks an audacious metamorphosis for mastermind Joe Talbot and his band of visceral agitators. Where their earliest releases like the 2017 breakthrough ‘Brutalism’ exorcised Talbot’s personal traumas with furious intensity, ‘TANGK’ represents an about-face into a full-blooded embrace of life’s great humane affirmations and human connection as an antidote to suffering.
“I needed love. So I made it,” Talbot states plainly about the album’s inspirations amidst the pandemic era and the birth of his daughter. “I gave love out to the world and it feels like magic. This is our album of gratitude and power. All love songs. All is love.”
That positivity and quest for transcendence courses through early singles like the throbbing, libidinous “Dancer,” which features guest vocals from LCD Soundsystem’s James Murphy and Nancy Whang. As Talbot repeats the mantra “I give myself to you/ As long as you move on the floor,” it celebrates the rapture of new romance but also IDLES’ unique bond with their ardently devoted fanbase.
“‘Dancer’ is the violence that comes from the pounding heart of the dancefloor and rushes through your body and gives you life from music, from love and from you,” Talbot explains.
The soulful slowburner “Grace” takes a more pensive approach, as Talbot’s weathered baritone delivers an epiphany - “No god, no king, I said love is the thing” - over swelling orchestration. It’s perhaps his most profound spiritual manifesto yet, discarding generational nihilism and toxic power structures for a more benevolent, unifying force.
Meanwhile, the taut intensity of the recently released “Gift Horse” showcases that IDLES haven’t gone soft
in embracing vulnerability. Its sinewy menace and stuttering grooves provide a backdrop for Talbot’s typically thoughtprovoking examinations of modern existence and self-empowerment: “All is love and love is all.”
The rallying cry for human connection as an antidote to life’s harsh realities has been a throughline for IDLES since their visceral 2017 debut ‘Brutalism.’ Fueled by Talbot’s adrenaline-blast lyricism documenting his struggles with addiction, abuse, toxic masculinity and more, the album was a critical and cult smash that quickly labeled them as scabrous post-punk agitators “taking the piss” out of society’s ills.
2018’s fearsome ‘Joy as an Act of Resistance’ doubled down, delivering a
muscular assertion of vulnerability as strength in the face of modern tribalism and injustice. IDLES’ music became a life-affirming rallying cry, as they forged cathartic solidarity with their fanbase. As Talbot stated at the time, “This is for those who stayed up crazy late last night talking with somebody they love about their size and skin...”

Adam Ant has charted out his 2024 “ANTMUSIC” U.S. tour with The English Beat joining as support for all dates. Mark your calendars for his performance at Bayou Music Center in Houston on April 20th.
This anticipated tour marks the English singer’s return to the U.S. after five years, beginning the journey in St. Louis on March 21st. The tour will weave through cities such as Chicago, Detroit, New York City, New Orleans, and Las Vegas before wrapping up on May 10th in Phoenix—just a day before his appearance at Cruel World 2024.
Adam Ant, known for his classic hits like “Goody Two Shoes,” “Kings of the Wild Frontier,” “Stand and Deliver,” and “Antmusic,” will treat fans to a mix of his chart-toppers and personal favorites throughout the tour.

In the mid-seventies, Adam Ant entered the music scene as the bassist for Bazooka Joe, performing in pubs and colleges around London. A pivotal moment came in November 1975 when he witnessed The Sex Pistols supporting Bazooka Joe at their debut show. This ignited his ambition, leading to the formation of The Ants and regular gigs at London’s famed Marquee Club.
By 1979, Adam and the Ants released their debut album, “Dirk Wears White Søx,” quickly topping indepen-
dent charts. Collaborating with former Sex Pistols manager Malcolm McLaren, they developed a more accessible, rhythmic punk sound, leading to the smash hit “Kings of the Wild Frontier” in 1980. This album dominated the British charts for an impressive twelve weeks, propelling Adam Ant into ‘Antmania’ and earning him the Brit Award for Best British Album.
The following year, “Stand and Deliver” further solidified Adam Ant’s success, spending five weeks at number one and earning him the prestigious Ivor Novello Award for songwriting. His subsequent album, “Prince Charming,” also claimed the top spot, coinciding with his role as the first VJ on the new 24-hour music video channel, MTV.
Adam’s solo career took flight with the album “Friend or Foe,” delivering three top twenty hits on the Billboard Hot 100. “Goody Two Shoes” soared to number one in the UK and Australia, leading to Adam being voted MTV’s Sexiest Man Alive and receiving a Grammy nomination for Best New Artist.
In 1983, he graced NBC’s “Motown 25 Special” alongside legends like Michael Jackson and Diana Ross. His solo albums “Strip” and “Vive Le Rock,” produced with the renowned Tony Visconti, showcased his evolving style, culminating in a memorable performance of the title track at Live Aid.
Exploring his talents beyond music, Adam ventured into acting, appearing in stage productions and films
like “Nomads,” “Junk,” and “Slam Dance!” He also made notable TV appearances in shows such as “La Femme Nikita,” “Northern Exposure,” “The Equalizer,” and “SledgeHammer!”
In the 1990s, Adam balanced his acting with music, releasing “Manners and Physique,” featuring the hit “Room at the Top.” His 1994 album, “Wonderful,” recorded at Abbey Road Studios, continued to showcase his musical prowess.

Following successful tours in the US, Europe, and Australia, Adam released his first album in sixteen years, “Adam Ant is the Blueblack Hussar in Marrying the Gunner’s Daughter,” in 2011.
In 2014, Adam performed his debut album “Dirk Wears White Søx” in its entirety at the Hammersmith Apollo, releasing a DVD of the show. The following year, he worked on the remastered release of his iconic LP “Kings of the Wild Frontier,” resulting in a sold-out tour with over 30,000 attendees.
Adam continued to captivate audiences with tours like the “Kings of the Wild Frontier” tour in 2017, the “ANTHEMS Tour” in 2018, and the “Friend or Foe” tour in 2019, where he performed the albums in their entirety.

This April, the renowned Polish metal band Decapitated will grace the stage at Warehouse Live Midtown on Saturday, April 29th.
Embarking on the “Cancer Culture Over North America 2024” tour this spring, fans of death metal will experience a night of epic music. Leading the charge are death metal icons DECAPITATED and symphonic death metal purveyors SEPTICFLESH, joined by the melodic death metal force of KATAKLYSM as direct support for a 30-day journey. Beginning on April 16 in Santa Ana, the tour will traverse cities like Atlanta, Toronto, and Minneapolis before concluding in Los Angeles on May 19. Opening
for these bands will be the technical melodic death metal ensemble ALLEGAEON.
With a discography spanning eight studio albums, DECAPITATED has evolved from the dreams of teenagers in a small Central European town to become stalwarts of the metal genre. Each successive album pushes the boundaries of their sound, maintaining authenticity and integrity, as noted by Metal Injection: “any self-respecting death metalhead knows the name well.” Their story, like a rose amidst infernal thorns, weaves triumph from tragedy. Through the gleefully grotesque imagery of extreme metal and the relentless assault of their riffs, DECAPITATED beckons listeners to uncover deeper truths.
Their latest offering, “Cancer Culture,” unleashed in 2022, delivers recognizable devastation with deceptively sinister hooks. As Vogg, the band’s creative force, describes it, “Decapitated’s music is a mixture of musical ideas that is really hard to describe.” The result is a unique sound that draws from death, thrash, rock ‘n’ roll, and black metal, creating an experience that promises to captivate both old and new fans alike.

Decapitated, one of technical death metal’s enduring pillars, was forged in the fires of late ’90s Poland by guitarist Wac?aw “Vogg” Kie?tyka and his brother, drummer Witold “Vitek” Kie?tyka. Their debut in 2000 with the groundbreaking “Winds of Creation,” recorded while still in their teenage years, set the stage for albums like “Nihility” (2002) and “The Negation” (2004), solidifying Decapitated’s robust international following. Tragedy struck in 2007 with Vitek’s untimely passing in an auto accident, leading to a hiatus, but the band rose from the ashes two years later. Since then, they’ve remained at the forefront of extreme metal, crafting acclaimed works such as “Blood Mantra” (2014) and “Cancer Culture” (2022), blending virtuosic musicality with unmatched ferocity.
Founded in 1996, with members Sauron (vocals), Vogg (guitar), Martin (bass), and Vitek (drums) barely 14 years old on average, Decapitated swiftly gained renown as Poland’s, and Europe’s, premier purveyors of ultra-technical death metal. The band honed their craft through demos like “Cemeterial Gardens” (1997) and “The Eye of Horus” (1998) before signing with Earache’s Wicked World for their 2000 debut, “Winds of Creation.”
This led to a successful run of U.K. tours supporting grindcore icons
Lock Up. “The First Damned” in 2001 resurrected early demos, while acclaimed releases such as “Nihility” (2002) and “The Negation” (2004) further elevated the band’s global status. Notably, since 1999, Vogg and Martin have also been integral to the acclaimed Polish black metal outfit Lux Occulta.
In 2007, amidst lineup changes, tragedy struck as the band’s tour bus met a serious accident en route to a Belarus show. Drummer Vitek tragically lost his life, and vocalist Covan (Adrian Kowanek) was severely injured, prompting an immediate hiatus. In 2009, determined to forge ahead, Vogg set out to rebuild the group, eventually enlisting Austrian drummer Kerim “Krimh” Lechner of Thorns of Ivy, vocalist Rafa? Piotrowski (Ketha), and bassist Filip “Heinrich” Ha?ucha (Vesania). Decapitated 2.0 emerged on 2011’s Nuclear Blast-released “Carnival Is Forever,” reaching number 11 on the Billboard Top Heatseekers chart. “Blood Mantra” (2014), which also charted impressively, saw ?ysejko and Pasek taking over drum and bass duties, respectively. Their seventh studio album, “Anticult” (2017), added elements of groove-metal to their punishing sound. “Cancer Culture” in 2022 marked Pasek’s return on bass, featuring guest spots from Jinjer and Machine Head members.

I was puttin’ down from San Francisco to LA well at least that was the plan, sort of the plan anyway. Obviously California has a lot to offer in more than one way and they have a ton of poker rooms to be sure. Plus talk about some really great blues clubs California has them as well. I’m not into poker all the time but when it seems like it’s time to lay down some jack California has the parlors, many which are first class establishments. On this day I noticed a neon sign that read No Guns or Nuclear Weapons Allowed and I thought this could be an interesting place so I parked my scooter out front, grabbed a cigar and headed for the entrance. However, before I entered a good looking mature woman asked if I was there for the cards or the show. She was definitely not some young thing hustling, not this woman, she was looking for poker players. I said cards and she said follow me. Just like in the song “She was a long cool woman in a black dress ‘Bout a 5’9" beautiful, tall. With just one look I was a bad mess because that long cool woman had it all.” There was an outside staircase that led up to a second floor entrance so I followed her up the steps. She held the door and as I entered and I realized right away that I was not in some low class kind of joint. Nope this was a top shelf well lit fine place for sure. She asked what my favorite drink was and I said single malt scotch. She pointed at the tables and said some of them are Texas Hold ‘em, choose the game you want and I’ll be right back with your drink. I looked around and it was an ocean of male and female players. I bought in at a table close by and tried my luck. After about maybe two hours I was breaking even sort of bored and ready to go. Then that long cool woman came to our table and relieved the dealer so I decided to try a few more hands, well I mean a man has to have his priorities right? She had an award winning smile and that woman could handle a deck. I won the first and then the second hand. I asked the pit boss if it was ok to tip the dealer and he nodded yes. I stood up thanked her and reminded her that she had asked me if I was there for the show. What was she talking about? She said downstairs they have live music six nights a week. I asked what kind and she said all kinds but usually on Thursday it’s rock or blues rock. Cool. I’m in. So back down the outside stairs then I was out in front of the place once again. I decided to fire up my cigar and sit on my bike. There were others out there too mostly smoking cigarettes. I asked this one couple if they knew who was on stage and they said a band named ‘Stinky Felix”. What a name, I had seen them perform in the past. The music started and while I did not recognize the song it was indeed good. Rock tempo yet with a sexy blues feel. This place was cool, the patrons and the employees were all top shelf. The sign out front that read no guns or nuclear weapons was still lit and it was an attention getter to say the least. Once inside I could see it too was a bit up town sort of plush but not over the top plush. This floor and its bar was interesting. That night it was an all male band but the audience was notably mostly women. I cozied up to the bar, placed an order and scanned the area for what’s what. Nothing too out of the ordinary but some really sharp dressed women. Poker upstairs and then down-

stairs good music and good looking women. When the drink arrived it was certainly filled with scotch which is always a good sign. Still the place wasn’t holding my attention for some reason so I closed out and made tracks for my scooter. I called ahead to Los Gatos and reserved a room at a motel, fired up my bike and we hauled ass for our destination. Los Gatos is close to San Jose and if you are looking for a super friendly town that is cool with folks from out of town this would be the place. I checked in and waited for the engine to cool before rolling it inside the room. Everything went as planned until in the morning when I rolled it back out and into a parking spot. I sat down on a chair I had brought outside and fired up my morning smoke. A cognac flavored single leaf 50 ring Connecticut wrapper stogie. “Hey Mom what’s for breakfast?” Well kids nothing starts the day like a cloud of smoke and city water direct from a motel sink. Anyway I sat down enjoying this California low smog area of the state when a door a few rooms down opened and out came this elderly lady. Maybe 80 to 85 but cool looking wearing a Turquoise Squash Blossom and some native rings. I smiled as she walked by, she nodded good morning but not a word exchanged between us. A short time later she came back from wherever she had been, nodded again and kept on going. Then she paused at her door looked back and said hey they got some donuts and coffee up front. I nodded thank you and thought well that seems like a good idea but it was going to happen after I finished this fine cigar. So I was sitting there cooling it when this motorcycle cop pulls up. I thought no surely someone didn’t dime me out about my bike being in the room? He pulled up behind my bike and shut his off. A state cop no less. He was smiling so I thought well maybe it wasn’t anything too terrible. I could see he called in my plate then he came over and asked for my license and insurance card. I opened my wallet and gave him both and then kept quiet. It seemed like forever until he brought them back but then he said thank you. He asked what year the engine was because a new construction registration verifies the frame number but not the engine number. I told him 1975. He asked if it was a 1,200 and I said no I actually we bore the cylinders out and I’m running ten over pistons with an Andrews Cam. He asked if the pipes were muffled and I told him no and he replied saying that the county had a noise abatement law. I said I was just passing through and as soon as I had a couple of donuts and a cup of coffee from up front I would be on my way. He said he wasn’t going to cite me, thanked me again and said by the way not a good idea to take your bike into a motel room with new carpet, good day sir. I was stunned. Someone actually did dime me out and for some reason get this a state cop on a bike and not a county mounty came to check me out, go figure! His comment about the new carpet left me with the impression that it was the motel manager that probably called them. Anyway all’s well that ends well and with that thought in mind I decided to forego the donuts and coffee up front in the office. However, the idea of a donut and coffee was still on my mind. As I pulled away I noticed a sign that read Donut Wheel Bakery and I thought cool and wheeled on in.

Nice people, but not very many people inside. I could smell cinnamon so I ordered a bear’s claw and a cup of black coffee. I looked at the map on my cell phone and could see that Santa Cruz was 25 miles away straight down highway 17. I knew that the gas and oil levels were fine so when I finished I just fired up my scooter and left for Santa Cruz. Now you may wonder what is so cool about Santa Cruz and one thing is the variety of sea animals that harbor on their beaches. By the way California keeps their beaches super clean up and down the coast and you meet the nicest, friendliest folks on planet earth there. On the day I arrived I met a Mexican family of immigrants, a family of five. Mom, Dad, two boys and a girl. I can only imagine what was going through their minds when this biker guy on this loud red chopper comes rumbling up. Possibly stereotypical to them. They turned out to be cool about me being there and didn’t freak out and leave, they just kept doing their thing. It was lunch time when the Dad of the family, his name was Juan, came over with something in his hand and offered me some kind of Mexican dish his wife, Marcelina, had prepared. I gratefully accepted their food, smiled and thanked him. I asked him if he spoke English and he nodded nope. I told him I didn’t speak Spanish yet we both knew that we were communicating. I pointed to a seal sitting on some seaweed and he nodded and pointed toward his kids while saying something I didn’t understand. The kids were pointing toward the animal too and yelling something to their Dad. He left and went back to them. About a football field and a half away was this small food store combination gift shop. I walked over and while there I noted their candy aisle. I bought some and went back to where my bike was parked. The family that gave me the free lunch were still there. I walked over to them. When I got there I put my hand in the bag and took out three packages of Red Vine Licorice. I expressed as best I could that I wanted to give the licorice to their kids. He and wife got the non verbal message and nodded yes. The kids however wouldn’t come near me so their Mom took the licorice from me and handed it to them. I reached back into the bag and took out three Hershey’s Almond bars and gave Mom and Dad each one and I kept one. The three of us ate our cache on the spot. This is the way America is supposed to function, at peace with life and each other. I walked back to my bike and not too long after I noticed a priest going up to that family. I thought that was odd. A priest on a beach, kind of different. A nun was with him and as she escorted the family toward their car the priest walked over to me. He told me that they wished to tell me that my return friendship was a sign of their welcome to America. The priest explained that no they were not from Mexico as I had assumed but from Central America where all they possessed was taken from them and they fled the country for America. They were seeking asylum. I stumbled right into that situation and didn’t know it. As the priest turned to leave I said Father do you know why nuns do not have sex? He said what? I said do you know why nuns do not have sex? He just furled his eye brows, turned away and started walking again. I shouted out because they can’t get into the habit. He stopped, turned, visibly laughing and waved goodbye. It was then that I noticed a couple maybe in their thirties holding each other on the beach. They were either in love or harboring a deep desire. You could tell at that very moment they were happy being together and that was cool to see. Me, well the annual Blues Music Awards are in Memphis next month, May. I think I will point my scooter in that direction. Their annual awards event is a lot like the Grammys event except it just presents blues and that’s a way, way cool experience. See you next month...

Conjunto Primavera se presenta el 6 de abril en el Arena Theatre

Este mes, el icónico Conjunto Primavera se presentará en el The Arena Theatre el sábado 6 de abril, prometiendo una velada llena de romance y estilo característico que los ha convertido en una de las agrupaciones más destacadas del explosivo escenario norteño de la década de 1990.
Originarios de Chihuahua, México, Conjunto Primavera es un grupo multi-Grammy Latino que ha vendido millones de discos en todo el mundo.
Fundado en 1978 por el saxofonista Juan Domínguez, Conjunto Primavera inició su exitoso recorrido con sonidos rancheros, boleros y baladas, evidenciado claramente en su álbum de 1980, “Cuatro Primaveras”. Para 1986, con el lanzamiento de “Con las Manos Vacías”, el sonido de la banda evolucionó para incluir no solo el saxofón, sino también los teclados eléctricos. Tras firmar con Fonovisia a principios de la década de 1990, el grupo registró una serie casi constante de éxitos con sencillos y álbumes, epitomizado por su primer álbum certificado como oro, “Necesito Decirte”, en 1998. Sus armonías están estilizadas con influencias del vintage doo wop y rhythm and blues tanto como la música folclórica del norte de México. A
partir de “Morir de Amor” en el año 2000, Conjunto Primavera colocó una docena de álbumes consecutivos en el Top 200, y más de dos veces aparecieron en los rangos superiores en Top Latin Albums y/o Mexican Regional Albums, incluyendo “Amor Amor”, ganador del Grammy Latino en 2014 y “Lo Más Escuchado De” en 2019.
El grupo fue fundado el 21 de marzo de 1978 (el primer día de primavera) por el saxofonista Juan Domínguez en Ojinaga, Chihuahua. Los miembros actuales de Conjunto Primavera incluyen a Tony Meléndez (voces), Oscar Ochoa (bajo), Félix Antonio Contreras (acordeón, teclados eléctricos), Manuel Rolando Pérez (bajo sexto), Francisco “Frank” Mata (bajo eléctrico) y Adrian Anthony Regalado (batería). En sus inicios, la agrupación se presentó localmente durante años antes de firmar un contrato de grabación con Joey Records, un sello independiente de música regional mexicana con sede en San Antonio, Texas. El grupo grabó una serie constante de álbumes para Joey, muchos de los cuales fueron reeditados en CD a mediados de los años 90. Estas reediciones llegaron después de “Me Nortié” (1993), el álbum de éxito de Conjunto Primavera y su debut en AFG Sigma Records. Sin embargo, esta nueva
asociación con el sello discográfico no duró mucho, ya que AFG Sigma (un sello propiedad del grupo Los Temerarios) comenzó a tener problemas financieros a mediados de los años 90 y, en consecuencia, fue comprado por el gigante regional mexicano Fonovisa.
Conjunto Primavera fue uno de los pocos grupos que lograron sobrevivir a la transición de AFG Sigma a Fonovisa, y su perfil se vio enormemente reforzado como resultado, comenzando con su debut en el sello en 1996. Desde ese momento, el grupo grabaría álbumes de manera constante para Fonovisa, lo que a su vez aseguraría una óptima comercialización y distribución para cada uno de ellos. Esta relación comercial cosechó importantes recompensas para ambas partes, ya que Conjunto Primavera ascendió en las filas de la música regional mexicana en términos de popularidad y reconocimiento, uniéndose a los likes de Los Tigres del Norte y Grupo Exterminador entre los actos principales de la escena norteña. “Necesito Decirte” (1998) fue su primer álbum en ser certificado como platino por la RIAA, con más de un millón de copias vendidas. Los álbumes sucesivos, incluyendo “Morir de Amor” (2000), “Ansia de Amar” (2001) y “Perdóname Mi Amor” (2002), en general fueron al menos certificados como oro, con más de medio millón de copias vendidas de cada uno. Además, Conjunto Primavera regularmente recibió nominaciones a los Grammy Latinos; incluso actuaron en la ceremonia de 2006, donde ganaron el premio al Mejor Canción Regional Mexicana (“Aún Sigues Siendo Mía”).
Este marcó el comienzo de una larga serie de éxitos críticos y comerciales para el grupo. En los años siguientes, varios de sus álbumes se ubicaron en los primeros lugares de las listas de álbumes regionales mexicanos y fueron certificados como oro. Los sencillos de la banda también tuvieron un éxito notable. Fueron nominados para casi una docena de Premios Grammy Latinos. En 2014, en la 15a entrega anual de los Premios Grammy Latinos, Conjunto Primavera ganó el Grammy Latino al Mejor Álbum Norteño por “Amor Amor”. Le siguió una intensa gira, pero en los dos años siguientes, las únicas grabaciones fueron las contribuciones de la banda a compilaciones de varios artistas.
A fines de 2017, Conjunto Primavera reapareció con el álbum de estudio “Con Toda la Fuerza” para Fonovisa. Dos años después, lanzaron el álbum “Lo Más Escuchado De”, una colección de canciones románticas nuevas y regrabadas, que contó con el sencillo “Si Te Vuelvo A Ver”, lanzado a principios de la primavera de 2020. La cantante y compositora comenzó su carrera a muy temprana edad, siempre sabiendo que sería artista. Los Invasores De Nuevo Leon se presenta el 27 de Abril en el Arena Theater

Los Invasores de Nuevo León, el legendario grupo norteño originario de Monterrey, México, se prepara para una emocionante presentación este mes el sábado 27 de abril en The Arena Theatre en Houston. Esta agrupación, con una trayectoria llena de historia, fue formada en 1978 por el vocalista Lalo Mora, el vocalista de respaldo/ acordeonista Javier Ríos, el bajista Homero de León y el baterista Eliud López. Desde sus inicios, Los Invasores de Nuevo León se dieron a conocer en fiestas privadas, ferias callejeras desde la parte trasera de camionetas, escenarios locales y cantinas.
El camino hacia el éxito musical comenzó a perfilarse cuando en 1981 empezaron a grabar para DLV Discs. Fue en 1982 cuando lograron su primer gran éxito regional con “Mi Casa Nueva,” el cual eventualmente obtuvo certificación de oro en México. Sus grabaciones para el sello se convirtieron en favoritas de la radio y del
público, llevando al grupo a las listas de popularidad en varias ocasiones durante la década siguiente.
En 1993, Lalo Mora dejó el grupo para seguir una carrera como solista, siendo reemplazado por Isaias Lucero. El debut con Lucero, “Playa Sola,” también logró obtener el estatus de oro. Sin embargo, la alineación no paraba de evolucionar, y poco después Lucero dejó el grupo para dar paso a Rigo Marroquín (bajo sexto), el vocalista Rolando Marroquín y Luis Perales en el bajo, convirtiendo al grupo en un sexteto. Fue con su álbum “Jardín de Amor” que Los Invasores de Nuevo León alcanzaron tal éxito regional que obtuvieron un contrato con EMI Latin. Internacionalmente debutaron con “Ventanas al Viento” en 1997; el exitoso “Vuelvo Contigo” del mismo año fue su primer álbum platino. listas de radio durante cinco meses y siendo nombrada Canción del Año. Alcanzó doble disco de platino en México y disco de oro en Estados Unidos.
Después de completar la década con un compilado de boleros por su 20º aniversario y una grabación en vivo, Los Invasores de Nuevo León entraron al siglo XXI con el aclamado álbum “Tiempo al Tiempo”. En 2002, lanzaron una colección de boleros inéditos titulada “No Soy de Palo”, con canciones de Luis Elizalde, Fidencio Villareal, Luis Padilla, José Guadalupe Esparza y Ríos. “Señal de Alerta” de 2003 fue la primera vez que reunieron una amplia gama de cumbias, boleros y rancheras de todo el panorama musical mexicano. El álbum tuvo éxito en listas de popularidad y ventas, lo que los llevó a seguir el mismo formato con “Los Más Buscados” en 2004, que agregó corridos a la mezcla. Alcanzaron nuevas alturas con el corrido y prefiguraron el movimiento alterno con el intenso “Corridos de Peligro” del siguiente año, una colección de narcocorridos. Aunque tuvo éxito con audiencias en vivo, la reproducción en radio fue más difícil debido a su temática. “Amor Aventurero” de 2008 llegó a los primeros 40 en el Regional. “En Manos del Tiempo” de 2009 contrarrestó la seriedad con canciones de fiesta y amor. “Déjate Llevar” tuvo mejor desempeño en radio y fue tocado en toda Latinoamérica. El compositor Espinoza Paz escribió “Aferrado,” el sencillo principal de la colección de canciones de amor “Aferrado al Amor”. El segundo sencillo “Que Te Lleve la Pena” llegó al Top 20. A mediados de 2013, Los Invasores de Nuevo León lanzaron el sencillo “A Ver Quién Gana.” Marcó un punto de inflexión al traer de vuelta a Mora como vocalista principal. El álbum “Amistades” marcó un renacimiento creativo al presentar nuevamente el talento del vocalista junto con Ríos (Marroquín no se fue, pero su hermano sí y fue reemplazado por Ángel Hernández, con Javier Benavides como guitarrista principal). Después de una gira de reunión con Mora, la banda firmó con Remex Music. Su primer sencillo para el sello, “Con la Luz Prendida,” fue compuesto por Lalo Ayala. Recibió una excelente difusión en radio y preparó el terreno para el álbum completo “Mi Héroe”. Los Invasores de Nuevo León iniciaron 2015 con el sencillo “Si Se Me,” que obtuvo airplay en toda Latinoamérica, aunque “Sin Presumir,” el álbum que lo acompañaba, no entró en las listas. En el otoño de 2016, el grupo alcanzó un hito en su carrera al lanzar un álbum simplemente titulado “No. 50”.
Su lanzamiento más reciente es el álbum “40 Aniversario” (Vol.1, Vol.2, Vol.3) en vivo del 2021. Los fanáticos de Los Invasores de Nuevo León están ansiosos por la presentación que se avecina en The Arena Theatre en Houston el sábado 27 de abril, donde sin duda escucharán un repertorio lleno de éxitos que han marcado la carrera de esta icónica agrupación norteña.

Bad Bunny Traza Una Intima ‘Gira Mas Buscada’ Para Mostrar Un Nuevo Sonido Trap

El superastro puertorriqueño Bad Bunny está planeando una gira íntima por arenas en Norteamérica titulada “Most Wanted Tour” para mostrar su nuevo sonido de trap. Después de un 2022 masivo que lo convirtió en el artista de giras globales más destacado, Bad Bunny regresa a los escenarios en 2024 con una gira de 31 ciudades promovida por Live Nation. Esta gira contará con 47 espectáculos y dará a los fans la oportunidad de ver al ganador del Grammy en un entorno más íntimo en comparación con su última salida.
La impresionante gira comienza el 21 de febrero en el Delta Center de Salt Lake City e incluirá varias noches en mercados importantes como Las Vegas, Phoenix, San
Francisco, Austin, Atlanta, Orlando y otros. Bad Bunny se presentará durante tres noches cada una en Los Ángeles, Chicago y Nueva York, así como dos espectáculos en el Toyota Center de Houston el 30 de abril y 1 de mayo antes de concluir con tres presentaciones consecutivas en el Kaseya Center de Miami a fines de mayo.
El “Most Wanted Tour” dará a los fans su primera mirada extendida al álbum sorpresa de octubre de 2023 “Nadie Sabe Lo Que Va Pasar Mañana”. Marcando su regreso a sus raíces de trap, el álbum rápidamente se convirtió en el más escuchado en un solo día en Spotify el año pasado, acumulando más de 900 millones de reproducciones lideradas por el éxito “MONACO” que encabezó las listas de Spotify en 16 países.
A pesar de promover una experiencia de concierto más íntima, se espera que la gira sea uno de los principales atractivos de 2024 gracias al éxito arrollador del álbum y a la popularidad sin precedentes de Bad Bunny tras su éxito de 2022 “Un Verano Sin Ti”. Ese álbum pasó 13 semanas no consecutivas en el número 1 del Billboard 200 antes de ganar el Grammy al Mejor Álbum de Música Urbana.

En una entrevista con Vanity Fair, Bad Bunny reveló que estaba “experimentando con un nuevo estado de ánimo musical” en el álbum, tomando influencias de la música de los años 70 en diversos géneros “tanto en español como en inglés”, con el objetivo de crear un álbum diferente a su predecesor “Un Verano Sin Ti”. Llamó a este nuevo proyecto, que cuenta con colaboraciones de Arcángel, Bryant Myers, Feid y otros, su “más personal hasta ahora”.
El lanzamiento sorpresa de “Nadie Sabe Lo Que Va Pasar Mañana” corona un ascenso meteórico durante la última década para el artista de 29 años nacido como Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio. Después de crecer en Puerto Rico idolatrando a cantantes de salsa como Héctor Lavoe y estrellas del reggaetón como Daddy Yankee, Bad Bunny comenzó a perseguir una carrera musical mientras estudiaba comunicación audiovisual y trabajaba como empacador en un supermercado.
Saltó a la fama en 2016 cuando el DJ de reggaetón Luian se enteró de su canción “Diles” y lo firmó para su sello Hear This Music. Su sencillo de éxito “Soy Peor” llegó a finales de 2016, alcanzando el puesto número 22 en la lista Hot Latin Songs y estableciendo su sonido influenciado por el trap.
Una prolífica serie de sencillos como “Pa Ti”, “Loco Pero Millonario” y colaboraciones de alto perfil siguieron rápidamente,
incluyendo éxitos de 2017 con Ñengo Flow, Arcángel, Ozuna y otros. Hacia finales de ese año, Bad Bunny apareció en el éxito de J Balvin y Prince Royce “Sensualidad” antes de unirse a Balvin y Cardi B en 2018 en el éxito número 1 del Billboard Hot 100 “I Like It”.
En Nochebuena de 2018, Bad Bunny capitalizó su momento sorprendiendo con el lanzamiento de su álbum debut “X 100pre”, aclamado universalmente. Coproducido por la leyenda del reggaetón Tainy, el conjunto de géneros mezclados como pop-punk, R&B y hip-hop aún centraba las raíces de trap y reggaetón de Bad Bunny. Lideró la lista de Top Latin Albums y cruzó al Billboard 200.
Apenas seis meses después, colaboró con J Balvin en el álbum conjunto “Oasis”, que alcanzó el puesto número 9 en el Billboard 200 y ganó el premio al Mejor Álbum Urbano en los Latin Grammys. Rápidamente siguió eso en febrero de 2020 con su segundo esfuerzo en solitario “YHLQMDLG”, que se convirtió en uno de los primeros álbumes totalmente en español en debutar en el número 2 del Billboard 200.
Cuando la pandemia golpeó, Bad Bunny continuó con su prolífica racha, sorprendiendo con la compilación “Las Que No Iban a Salir” que presentaba pistas inéditas y colaboraciones con Don Omar y Nicky Jam. Luego, en noviembre de 2020, presentó “El Último Tour Del Mundo” que lo encontró experimentando con sonidos indie y alternativos inspirados en bandas como The Cure y Radiohead.
El escenario estaba listo para el éxito de 2022 “Un Verano Sin Ti”, que pasó tres meses en la cima del Billboard 200 gracias a éxitos como “Moscow Mule”, mientras ganaba el Grammy al Mejor Álbum de Música Urbana. El álbum continuó la reinvención musical de Bad Bunny, mezclando reggaetón con ritmos caribeños y colaboraciones poco probables.
