Several members gather at the Post in Wimberley to recognize the important contributions of women in military service.

Texas VFW Post 10374, Fort Worth

Post Sr. Vice Pruett, Post Chaplain Bankston, fellow trustees and members pay tribute to women in the military at the Post. A speech was delivered by Pruett to fellow comrades on the history of women in the military. The ceremony ended with a prayer by Chaplain Bankston.

Members and Auxiliary gather at the Post to recognize Women in the Military.

Texas VFW Post 7108, San Antonio

Members and guests host a Women in Military Service Celebration on October 18, 2021. The event started at 6:00 p.m. with a salute, a Pledge of Allegiance to the flag followed by the Chaplain’s prayer. A detailed history of some of the most memorable women in the military from the Civil War to present were cited by Laura Einswilee, a new Post Member, and a Navy retiree. Ceremonial cake served afterwards and enjoyed by all.
