CNHS takes steps to build stronger morality

Compostela Municipal Police station collaborated with Musicianary and visited Compostela National High School (CNHS) to share lifelong values and uphold its mission in reinforcing law, preventing crimes, maintaining peace and order, and ensuring public safety and internal security last May 2, 2023 at the school’s gymnasium.

Revitalized Philippine National Police (PNP) Kapulisan, Simbahan, at Pamayanan tungo sa Kaunlaran (KASIMBAYANAN) is a holistic approach to address concerns with national peace and order as well as to prevent and control crime. Reaching out to the students who require moral and spiritual assistance is another goal of this activity — this was set in motion because of the chronic incidents of suicide, which was the main targets are the youth.
Additionally, PSSG Christopher T. Cabillar gave the welcome address and shared his knowledge about the antibastos and anti-bullying laws with the aim of alarming and regulating students to prevent such incidents inside the school premise.
"Ayaw mo kahadlok!" Cabillar pointed out in his speech, mentioning women not to be afraid to speak up as they could easily reach out for the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) especially to the PNP, if they experience abuse and molestation. The theme "Life is beautiful, kaligtasan nyo, sagot ko," was also truly evident based on the statement aforementioned.
Furthermore, according to Cabillar the Republic Act No. 11313 or The Safe Spaces Act (Bawal Bastos Law) covers all forms of gender-based sexual harassment (GBSH) committed in public spaces, educational or training institutions, workplace and online space. And that students should not commit to this kind of act as they can face the worst penalty ahead.

Pastor Remil C. Sedurifa, PNP Compostela stressed as he gave motivational speech and worship songs together with the Musicianary, in order to bestow spiritual assistance to the students of CNHS. The activity really helped students to recover from all the bad things happening in our society, and it made them realize the good things in life.
"Dapat jud musalig sa Ginoo," Fevie Gwen P. Cadayona, a grade 7 Special Program in Journalism (SPJ) student stated after the moral recovery and worship service happened.
Moreover, PSSG Winston Dayon said that they are working hard to ensure a better future for the children.
Indeed, this program enlightened students about values that they can bear in their journey in life. It made them realize that a lot of things could go wrong, but God is the one and the only answer. Thus, by committing to a program where students can foster their used throughout the cleaning operation.
