CNHS Men’s V lleyball Spikes Silver

ompostela National High School's Men's volleyball is putting in hard work and dedication to improve their skills and outmatch their opponents’ next season. With their eyes set on the championship trophy after receiving silver medals during the provincial meet last April 2, Under the guidance of their experienced coach, the team is focusing on strengthening their individual skills as well as their teamwork and communication on the court. They have been practicing tirelessly on their serves, spikes, blocks, and digs, aiming to perfect their techniques and become more efficient players.

"We have a talented and dedicated group of players who are all working hard towards the same goal. We know that it won't be easy, but we're determined to give it our all and come out on top", Arvyn Hebra one of the players, expressed his confidence in the team's ability to excel this
In addition to their regular training sessions, the team has also been participating in friendly matches and tournaments to gain more experience and exposure to different playing styles. They have been analyzing their opponents' strategies and weaknesses, and using that knowledge to

Fans can expect nothing but the best from this talented team, and their opponents Through constant practice and dedication, they influence the other students to appreciate volleyball and empower sports.
Lack of sports equipment is not just a hindrance but also a turmoil of the trainers themselves. According to Cheryl Macas, CNHS coach for billiards that the lack of rooms and settings as well as equipment is a burdensome wherein they will undertake a training outside the school premises, therefore, they will pay a heavy cost at the local billiard haul.
Furthermore, gymnasts of the CNHS also lack equipment such as; mat, balls, balance beams and ribbons. Coah Geralyn Quinto and Janice Cagas found this a difficulty since they cannot properly rehearse the athletics for the following competitions enduring inflexible processes.
Athletics are an integral part of the school and need to be spare of such sufficient materials and equipment ample to their necessity.
Sweat under scarcity is what the phrase attributes to the lack of equipment beyond the achievements, trophies and medals they bagged. The school should provide enough equipment and should devote itself to primary penetration.
Without solving this issue, this will become a heavy hindrance and can be passed though the next generations.

Checkmate - It takes one initiative to build up a fortress of students with knowledge and skills in mind-board games. August 09, 2017marks the opening of the Chess Club in Compostela National High School (CNHS) spearheaded by Jonathan Hermosilla, a teacher and a chess enthusiast himself; The club right now is one of the active sectors of the sports section of CNHS and they continue to revitalize the minds of the students that regards to capturing the King.
“I put in my mind that, why not I open-up a club that focuses on chess, because I know that there’s a lot of students who are interested and willing to learn more in this field,” said Jonathan Hermosilla CNHS Chess Club coach.
He added since the motto of the school is Center Stage of Education Performance, I jumped into conclusion and concluded to put the sport chess in the center stage to be more recognized because it is beneficial in sharpening one's mind.
The team recently participated in the Pantukan Chess Club Cooperative Tournament where they bagged silver in the open category, 4th place in the Victoria Plaza Tournament, participated in the Nabunturan Chess Tournament, secured gold in the Open Competitional Chess Tournament - 1st Levi Ebdao Invitational Chess Tournament by Dj Opiaza a Grade 11 CNHS student and brought home a
