Parted Patriotism
Straight lines in a field of students that look up in the Philippine Flag shows the pride and patriotism for the country. Even in the midst of a pandemic, there may be things that change but this action respects the pride therefore the flag ceremony will be held despite being separated. Not attending flag ceremonies does not carry unfaithfulness to the land.
I believe that implementing a face to face flag ceremony must be done continually as this shows respect and loyalty to our beloved country. Despite the increasing of COVID-19 cases, there are still numerous ways to prevent this from spreading. Thus, teachers, students, school staff and workers should give their full-cooperation and participation. Even though during flag ceremony, each grade level is separated, that should not be the hindrance to suddenly stop face-to-face flag ceremony instead, this could also be one of the ways to avoid being affected of COVID. People can show their patriotism not minding where they are. Respect and love for the country are shown by students even though they are not always attending flag ceremonies but this statement do not tolerate those students to never attend the flag ceremony. Being parted do not limit how they can patriotism for the country Even with this situation too, their patriotism will never be parted.
