The manifestation od how the school embodies the Center Stage of Education Performance mantra.

Made from recyclable materials that completed the entirety of his green and white combined external appearance --- Centero is the first ever application-controlled robot born through the collaboration of Sir Marvin Fernandez, an award-winning National Robotics coach and Sir Norman G. Jandog, EdD, CNHS’ Principal IV.

Derived from the school’s official mantra, Sir Norman named the robot Centero. Currently, it has not yet made its formal public appearance for it has not yet been launched. According to Jandog, Centero has not yet reached his maximum potential and there is more to look forward to.

Centero is a product of RPA or Robotic Process Automation. Software robotics, also known as robotic process automation (RPA), uses automation technology to simulate back-office functions performed by human workers, such as enterprise and productivity applications, and APIs and user interfaces (UIs).

In addition, combining the interactions of RPA technology autonomously performs various tasks and transactions across unrelated software systems by providing scripts that mimic human interaction.

Centero’s features include; reminding the teachers to pass their Daily Time Record (DTR) reports, greeting individuals, and singing the Davao de Oro hymn --- which was applauded by the Regional Office.

On the other hand, Sir Norman G. Jandog got candid about Centero’s lacking current abilities due to financial constraints and financial budget. He also highlighted that in the near future, he will ultimately improve Centero.

In addition, Jandog encouraged the CNHS students to stay abreast with the current changes and to start going beyond their horizon. He also said that he immensely support innovation for it is our tomorrow’s future --- and is not only limited to STE and STEM students Norman G. Jandog described Centero as the official icon of the school --- that when people think about Compostela National High School, Centero is the first being that will come to their mind. He also wanted the students look at Centero as a reflection of themselves --- encouraging the students to act according to the robot’s programmed features, upholding the CNHS’ values and qualities.
