LENAMORE N.S. 5K/10K RUN/WALK FOR ELLA AND KILLIAN
We are a two teacher school situated between the parishes of Listowel, Ballylongford, Tarbert and Moyvane. The school have been partaking in the Health Promoting Schools programme and have been awarded our "Health Promoting School Flag which we will celebrate on Tuesday 21st June.
SLIABH A’ MHADRA N.S UNVEIL KILMORE PLAQUE
On Friday last, the Staff and pupils of Sliabh a’ Mhadra N.S. joined with the local community in a Mass celebrated by Fr. Brendan Walsh P.P. at the Cillin in Kilmore to remember all those buried there but in particular, Alfred F Wheelhouse whose body was washed ashore there following the sinking of the Lusitania in 1915. Mr Wheelhouse, a marine engineer on the ship, was buried in an unmarked grave in the Cillin. On Friday a plaque was unveiled on the wall of the burial ground to remind all who visit that he is laid to rest there. The sun shone for the beautiful ceremony as the pupils from Sliabh a’ Mhadra played their instruments and sang hymns with a sea theme. Thanks to all who attended and helped in the preparations.
As part of this programme a pupils committee was put in place, our four ladies from 6th class Rhianna Cameron, Tara Lynch, Kady Acocal Moran and Danielle Finucane have done a super job and are now promoting the school's 5K/10K Run/Walk. It will take place on Sunday 10th July leaving from Lenamore N.S. with registration at 10.30am, which they have decided to donate all funds raised to two local children Killian Browne 7 years old from Listowel and Ella Ahern 8 years old from Athea, so that Killian and Ella "Can do something fun during the summer". The four ladies from our school became aware of Killian and Ella through the local media and realised that they were having a hard time at the moment healthwise, here is a little bit about Killian and Ella. Killian Browne is a seven year old boy from Listowel diagnosed with Leukemia. Killian was diagnosed on Friday 26th February 2015, after complaining of a recurring pain in his arm. He has spent the majority of his time since his diagnosis in hospital in both Crumlin and Tralee. The diagnosis rocked his extended family and community as heartbroken parents Colin and Shirley embarked with Killian on a treatment course expected to last anywhere up to three years. Killian’s prognosis is good, currently Killian receives chemotherapy treatment in Crumlin once a week, with daily injections in Kerry General when he is not in Dublin. Since Killian was unfortunately struck down with this disease he has been very fortunate to have had exceptional care in both Our Lady’s hospital Crumlin and Kerry General. The Listowel Community and its surrounds have been extremely helpful in providing support to the family with events organized in Listowel and in Shirley’s home town of Ennistymon. “The family are very grateful for all the help they received over the past year and again are indebted to Lenamore National School for their very thoughtful event which they have organized.” Nora Browne (Killian Aunty) Ella Ahern is 8 years old. Ella was diagnosed with ewings sarcoma of her backbone in May 2015, She has undergone 1 year of chemotherapy in Crumlin & 5 weeks radiotherapy in St. Lukes. Ella is now on oral chemotherapy to maintain her good health at the moment with regular scans in Crumlin. Ella is currently doing well and enjoying more time at home and having some normality. “Thank you and all 6th class.” Therese Ahern (Ella mum) This is why all in Lenamore National School are asking the public to come and Run or Walk with us for these two children. On Sunday 10th July registration opens at 10.30am at the school please watch local media for further details or check out our Facebook Page: Lenamore National School Ballylongford

CLLR. KENNELLY WELCOMES THE DELAY IN BIN CHARGES
The new pay-by-weight bins system proposed by the government has been delayed for the next year. The move comes amid controversy about some families being forced to pay hugely inflated bills. In the meantime, waste companies that are part of the Irish Waste Management Association (IWMA) have agreed to freeze their charges and use the next 12 months to share tips to their customers about how to benefit from their waste disposal and recycling.
So, what's happening now? We've put it simply for you: 1. What's happening now? Waste management companies that are part of the IWMA have agreed to freeze bin changes at their current prices for the next year. 2. Why? The Irish Waste Management Association (IWMA) said the move is in a bid to "alleviate consumer concerns about pricing".
3. So what am I paying now? The move means that no householder putting out the same quantities of waste will face any additional charges during the first 12 months of the Pay By Weight government scheme. Instead, customers will receive a cost comparison from their waste companies that will show the amount of waste they are disposing, their current costs and the equivalent Pay By Weight Charges.
4. Is this a move towards the Pay By Weight system? Yes. The IWMA said providing this cost comparison for the next 12 months before the system kicks in will help householders better understand how waste charges are calculate and they will be able to see how recycling more can reduce their annual charges. The Pay By Weight system will kick in on July 1, 2016. 5. Will anything else happen? Yes. The IWMA said their aim is to ensure customers "reap the benefits" of the Pay By Weight charging system when it is fully rolled out. They are going to use the 12 month transition period to encourage waste prevention and recycling.

There will be sibling discounts available The Frozen Star Wars Superheroes Summer Camp is one not to be missed, so early booking is advisable, call Tim now on 0834056829 to book your childs place as numbers are limited
6. So, what will the government do? Waste companies said they expect the Department of Environment to provide an informative awareness campaign that allows the public to understand the need for and benefits of the Pay By Weight system. Furthermore, the Government could still be facing a legal challenge - as not every waste company is a member of the IWMA which has agreed the price freeze.
7. What will happen those with incontinence wear now? Waste contractors who are members of the Irish Waste Management Association have also agreed to provide a weight allowance to HSE patients supplied with incontinence wear to reduce their annual waste charges. IWMA members are committed to an arrangement whereby the additional weight attributed to non-infancy incontinence wear will be collected free of charge. All of the above applies to you if your waste company is part of the IWMA

LIXNAW HURLING CLUB ALL IRELAND FEILE; Under the guidance of Johnny Conway, Amanda Brosnan and Joe Flaherty our U14’s descended onto Dungarvan last weekend for the 2016 Feile na Geal competition . The boys competed in Division nine and were hosted by Dungarvan club Bricky Rangers. After arriving safely in Dungarvan thanks to our driver JJ Moylneaux the boys hadn’t long to relax, it was straight down to business taking on Ballyduff Upper of Waterford in our first game The boys got off to an impressive start with a massive win. The final score in the opening game was Lixnaw 5-11 Ballyduff Upper 1-05. After a half hour rest our next battle was against Turin Hurling club from Westmeath which resulted in another win for Lixnaw. Results were Lixnaw 3-09 Turin 1-04. Finally after a very productive day our boys meet their host families and went home for a well-deserved rest. It was back in action the following morning which saw us take on our Hosts Bricky Rangers, Both teams put on a heart stopping game of hurling but it was our boys that came out victors with a winning score of Lixnaw 3-06 Bricky Rangers 3-01. After winning all three of our games which saw us top our group we were through to the Quarter Final where we played Waterford team St Mary’s, the boys sailed in the Semi Final with a huge win, it finished Lixnaw 6-07 St Mary’s 0-05. It was back onto the bus and off to Poleberry club grounds in Waterford for our Semi Final where we took on Ballinakill of Laois. The boys played one of the best games of hurling we have ever seen from an U14 team but unfortunately after a heart breaking defeat of Ballinkilla 4-06 Lixnaw 1-06 our involvement in this year’s Feile came to an end. The club would like to thank our host club Bricky rangers for showing us such great hospitality over the weekend, we would like to thank the parents of our host club for taking our boys into their homes and looking after them so well. The club would also like to thank Daughtons bus hire who never let us down, also to John Goggin who chipped in to help our mentors. We would like to thank all the parents for fundraising and also our senior club who made sure we had everything we needed to make our weekend a success. On a final note the club would like to thank our boys who showed huge respect to our host club, they worked very hard for their club all weekend. They were excellently behaved and their club, parents and families are extremely proud of them. The panel included: Keltyn Molloy, Ciaran Walsh, Robert O Brien, Jason Buckley, Darragh Conway, Jake Brosnan, Evan McArthy, Josh Brosnan, Aodhan Shanahan, Shaun Shanahan, Mikey Kelliher, Eoghan Stack, Cian McMahon, Sean O Donnell Power, Christopher O Sullivan, Arron Mahony, Darren O Brien, Bryan Allen, Billy Stack, Jack Leen, Jack Goggin, Philip Shortland LIXNAW BOYS N.S. Not for the first time either, Lixnaw Boys N.S. produced another very impressive performance when accounting for Ardfert N.S in their Cumann na mBunscoil Division 1 County Final in Abbeydorney during the week. In a pulsating final, this victory completes the ‘Grand Slam’ for the school, having already won the Mini Sevens and the both the individual and team category in the Skills competition, a remarkable achievement indeed. Ardfert edged the opening half slightly, led at half time by the bare minimum, 1-7 to 1-6. However, were it not for the heroics of Keltyn Molloy in the Lixnaw goals, the gap at half time would have been much wider, he make two particular outstanding saves, both from point blank range to keep his side in contention. The second half was a titanic battle right to the end. Ardfert stretched their lead to three points before Philip Shortland struck Lixnaws second goal. Ardfert went four points ahead again and were looking good. The introduction of Cian McMahon at this point to the Lixnaw attack proved to be an inspirational move. Darragh Conways twenty one yard free for a goal was saved and cleared. It should have signalled the beginning of the end but it didn’t. He got a second chance and he made no mistake second time round to turn the contest in his sides favour. Minutes remained as Lixnaw came in search of the equaliser. Josh Brosnan came to the rescue from a thirty yard free to leave the teams deadlocked. It was looking like extra time when the same player stepped up to the plate again to fire over the winning point, 411 to 4-10. There were great excitement as Lixnaw captain Eoghan Stack accepted the trophy while Mr McAuliffe basked in the glory after master minding another historic moment in the school Roll of Honour. Panel; Keltyn Molloy, Shaun Shanahan, Darragh McKenna Conway, Robert O’Brien, Christopher O’Brien, Josh Brosnan, Eoghan Stack, Darren O’Brien, Bryan Allen, Arron Mahony, Philip Shortland, Cian McMahon, Sean O’Donnell Power, Jack Goggin, John Moriarty, Ivan Conway, Gavin O’Keeffe. Following the match goalkeeper Keltyn Molloy competed in the Community games Long Puck in Austin Stack Park and emerged victorious to polish it all off. He now goes forward to the final in Atlone later on. time, 1-4 to 0-8. Kilmoyley with the aid of the breeze in the second half pushed forward and slowly wore down Lixnaw whose challenge faded as the half went on. Kilmoyley finished eight points in front in the end 2-15 to 1-10 and back to the drawing board for Lixnaw. Championship begins this weekend with a full round of games. Lixnaw and Causeway do battle in Lerrig at 7.00pm. Good luck to team and management. KERRY U17 HURLERS Celtic Challenge Final; heartbreak for the Kerry U17 hurlers in Nolan Park Kilkenny last Saturday, a goal in injury time deprived them of victory in the final of the U17 Celtic Challenge Cup, South Wexford winning by. Conor O’Keeffe was excellent at centre back, Shane McElligott was on the panel while Bryan McAuliffe was out injured. Reaching this final was a great achievement for this Kerry panel of players. COISTE NA NOG This week’s news is dominated by the Under-14 Hurling Féile trip to Tipperary and Limerick. After their terrific performance in the Kerry competition followed by weeks of preparations, the time had finally arrived. The boys and their hardworking mentors, along with a convoy of supporters, took to the road on Friday morning and were straight into the action with a match against Ballina (Limerick) in their host village of Cappawhite (Tipperary). They struggled to recover from their travels and never really got a foothold into this first encounter. They bounced back well, however, to record a fine wire to wire victory against Bredagh (Down). Ballyduff had clearly hit their stride and were off and running. Their final group game took place on Saturday morning against the hosts. This was a quality match between two teams looking to make their mark after a mixed start to the tournament. In the end, the home team pulled away and recorded the win, despite a strong performance from Ballyduff, particularly in the first half after which they had been ahead. Their reward was a long trip to Ballina for the quarter-final of the shield competition on Saturday afternoon against Kildangan of Tipperary. They won this game with a strong 16 to 0 - 3 score line, displaying some good scoring touch and strong back play. Unfortunately, the luck of the draw meant they were forced to travel all the way back to Clonmel for their semi-final. In the end, the task proved too great and they were finally knocked out by their opponents from Trim in Meath. The fun wasn’t over and the boys returned to Cappawhite for one last night of fun including a disco in the local hall. Ballyduff Coiste na nÓg would like to extend a special word of thanks to all of the host families and club members for their gracious hospitality. The warm welcome and generous support made the experience a memorable one for all players, mentors and supporters. Hopefully we can live up to the example when Football Féile comes to Kerry. Speaking of Football Féile, games start Friday evening in the village so watch Facebook for details and come out to enjoy the activities and support the players. And best of luck to the team. Keep it going. Finally, there was one other team in action this week. The Under-8s once again showed us why we have plenty of star quality to look forward to over the coming years. They took part in a Hurling Blitz in Abbeydorney on Friday night, performing extremely well in all of their matches. We look forward to seeing this group, like their older club-mates, continue to improve and represent Ballyduff like champions. BALLYDUFF GAA NEWS Senior Football: An under strength Ballyduff senior football team travelled to Knocknagashel on Sunday last in Division 5 of the County League and in miserable weather conditions came away with a League point after securing a draw. The Ballyduff scores were Eric McHale 1 – 2, Evan Doyle 1 – 1, John Paul Leahy, Paul O’Carroll & Eddie Joy 0 – 2 each and Roger Costelloe 0 – 1. The Final score was Ballyduff 2 - 10 Knocknagashel 1 - 13 and the team lined out as follows: Sean Brown; Johnny O’Regan, Sean Costello, Thomas Slattery: Anthony O’Carroll, Cathal Kearney, Michael Hussey; Evan Doyle, Roger Costello; Padraig Slattery, John Paul Leahy, Paul O’Carroll; Eric McHale, Eddie Joy. Well done to the boys who travelled.
Feile: Next weekend is a busy one with the Feile Peil na nœg and a County Hurling Championship game taking place in Ballyduff. Stewards will be required on Friday and Saturday evenings while volunteers will be needed on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings for a final clean up. We want to make sure that everything goes OK so come along and help out.
RETIREMENT Master Pat Walsh is retiring from Ballyduff Central National School on this Fri June 24th. We wish him all the best for the future and thank him for his 20 years in Ballyduff. Mass will be celebrated in the school on Friday morning at 9.30am. Past pupils, teachers & the people of the community are all welcome. Refreshments will be served afterwards. CAUSEWAY CAMOGIE NEWS Camogie training for U6, U8 & U10 girls every Saturday morning at 10am. The event was attended by 6th class under the management of Mrs. Lisa Keane and Miss Grainne Keane. This team played with amazing spirit and for the first time reached the semi finals. The semi final was a tough battle against Kilcummin with Duagh coming out in the second half and raising the spirit of the supporters with an outstanding come back in the first minute with 2-1. Duagh were unlucky not to progress but having picked amongst the students themselves and deciding to put a team in to take part for fun done considerably well. THE GLORIOUS HERESIES By Lisa McInerney Winner of the Baileys Women's Prize for Fiction 2016
Duagh/Lyre U12 County Community games silver medal winners in the relay last weekend at An Riocht, missing from pic is Jack Sheehy
'He was definitely dead, whoever he was. He wore a once-black jumper and a pair of shiny tracksuit bottoms. The back of his head was cracked and his hair matted, but it had been foxy before that. A tall man, a skinny rake, another string of piss, now departed. She hadn't gotten a look at his face before she flaked him with the Holy Stone and she couldn't bring herself to turn him over.' One messy murder affects the lives of five misfits who exist on the fringes of Ireland's post-crash society. Ryan is a fifteen-year-old drug dealer desperate not to turn out like his alcoholic father Tony, whose obsession with his unhinged next-door neighbour threatens to ruin him and his family. Georgie is a prostitute whose willingness to feign a religious conversion has dangerous repercussions, while Maureen, the accidental murderer, has returned to Cork after forty years in exile to discover that Jimmy, the son she was forced to give up years before, has grown into the most fearsome gangster in the city. In seeking atonement for the murder and a multitude of other perceived sins, Maureen threatens to destroy everything her son has worked so hard for, while her actions risk bringing the intertwined lives of the Irish underworld into the spotlight‌ Biting, moving and darkly funny, The Glorious Heresies explores salvation, shame and the legacy of Ireland's twentieth-century attitudes to sex and family.

LISTOWEL EMMETS
Listowel Emmets seniors welcomed Rathmore to Frank Sheey Park on Sunday in Division 2 of the County League in which both teams took to the field without key players. Mark Reen opened the scoring for the visitors with a close range free before Conor Cox levelled for Emmets in similar circumstances. Both teams had their fair share of possession in the opening exchanges with Shane Quinn and David Sheehy playing a lot of ball for Listowel while George O'Keeffe and Brian Moynihan were showing well for Rathmore. Mark Reen who started very brightly fired over a quick brace and on 15 minutes the away side were in front 0-04 to 0-01 thanks to a placed ball from Sean O' Riordan. Rathmore seemed to handle the slippery conditions a bit better than their hosts and were starting to take control in the middle of the pitch, winning their lions share of breaking balls. With 21 minutes on the clock, corner forward John Moynihan raised the green flag when he got on the end of a high ball that broke in the square and suddenly Listowel found themselves 6 points behind. They did not let the heads drop however and put together some nice moves over the next few minutes but just could not threaten the scoreboard. Two more points followed from the boot of Brian Moynihan and a free from the 45' line by Eoin Lawler before Conor Cox kept Listowel in the game with 2 points just before the half-time whistle. Halt-time: Emmets 0-03 Rathmore 1-06 Rathmore came flying out of the blocks for the second half and Reen fired over another free to put them 7 points ahead. Emmets Captain Conor Cox pulled 1 back from a free after some great work from Shane Quinn and Sean Gilbert but it was the next 5 minutes of action that sealed the deal for the visitors when they rattled off 1-02 in the space of 3 minutes, a soccer style goal coming from John Moynihan to leave the score at 2-09 to 0-04. With 17 minutes to go Rathmore's Mark Reen fired over their last score of the afternoon and from here on in it was all Listowel Emmets. Darren Halpin entered the fray and he won some vital ball setting up scores for David Sheehy and Darragh Leahy. Conor Cox and Sheehy helped themselves to two more and Emmets were now attacking at will with Jack McGuire and Tom Melvin both pushing forward and taking the game to the East Kerry men. Shane Quinn and Jake Moriarty put in some big hits but time was against Listowel and the two goal bridge was just too much to pull back. Darren Halpin capped a fine cameo with a super score from the outside of his boot with 28 minutes on the clock but this was to be the last score of the day as Rathmore took home the points on a score-line of 2-10 to 0-10. Emmets: K. Hughes, J. Moriarty, J. McGuire, D. Broderick, T. Melvin, M. Lynch, J. Heaphy, T. McCarthy, C. Mulvihill, D. Leahy 0-01, D. Sheehy 0-02, D. Hughes, C. Cox 0-06, N. Kennelly, S, Quinn Subs used: S. Gilbert for N. Kennelly, D. Halpin 0-01 for D. Hughes

BALLYLONGFORD GAA
Under 14 Football Challenge Match - Asdee/Ballylongford 5-10 Tarbert 5-10 Played in Jack Walsh Park, Asdee, The local neighbouring teams played out an entertaining draw with some excellent scores by both teams. With a strong wind blowing into the dressing room goals, it was Tarbert who dominated most of the first half and deservedly went in 2-7 to 2-2 ahead at half time. Tarbert started strong on the resumption and built up what looked like a winning lead. However, not for the first time this year, Asdee/Bally never gave up and battled all the way to the final whistle scoring the final 2-3 of the game. It was an excellent all round panel performance. Both teams are to be credited for proving such commitment and entertainment in what was a challenge match in preparation for the upcoming national Féile competition starting next Friday evening 24th June.

COUNTY LEAGUE Asdee 4-6 Austin Stacks “B” 1-12.Played at Walsh Park on Saturday evening last the home side had to pull out all the stops having to withstand severe pressure by the visitors in an effort to at least tie up the contest in the closing minutes which included 5 minutes of injury time. Certainly Stacks will rue the number of clear cut opportunities that went well wide of the mark during the duration of the game (17 in all) and even that may well have even given them the County league points on offer. However Asdee stuck to their task and held on by the skin of their teeth. Jason Hickson put Annascaul in the lead with a point, a great burst up the field by Sean Weir passing to Paudie Quill and hitting the Annascaul net. Paudie Quill scored his second goal putting Senans ahead by a point but with the last kick of the game Annascaul scored a free to level the sides. C IL L A R D CR OW N ED F E I L E C H AMPIONS Cillard Camogie Cub traveled to Clonea Power GAA in Waterford last Friday to represent Kerry in Division 4 Of The John West Feile Na Gael Camogie Championship this weekend. They took Waterford by storm as they were crowned All Ireland Feile Na Gael Champions yesterday after defeating a tough Tyrone team; Eglish St. Pats in the Final on a scoreline of 2-7 to 2-4. There wasn't a team in Group B that expected this group of girls who were not physically the biggest in the Feile to demonstrate the level of hurling skill that was becoming the talk of Waterford as they progressed through the qualifiers. Cillard had three matches that would decided whether they progressed on to The Cup or Shield Competition, and the lack of scores from the other side grew wider as they went through. The first match against Donard The Glin ( Wicklow) was going to prove to be the only test of this great team as the opposition were towering over our girls but they were quickly worn out from trying to keep up with our girls as brilliant tactics from our mentors Joe Walsh and James McCarthy had Donard running all over the pitch. Cillard were up against Tramore in the Second match and the Waterford side proved no match for Cillard with the end result being Cillard 7-6 Tramore 0-0. Cillard went on to the Cup Quarter Final when they defeated Clonea Power 9-11 to 0-0. Lacken of Cavan was the team to beat in the Quarter Final and the Girls in Red came out the winners sealing Cillard's place on a score of 4-9 to 0-0 The Semi Final was played in Kilsheelin Co Tipperary in the Valley of Slievenamon. This was the first test of our girls and they passed with flying colours as they scored 2-10 to 0-1 on a rainy evening. They played Eglish St. Pats of Tyrone to bring home the Cup. They had defeated a strong Mayo side in the Semi Final and were tipped to win but our Cillard Girls proved to had a little more in the tank and were up at half time with 1-7 to 1-0, Allanah Strich put Cillard on the scoreboard with a point in the first minute and a brilliant goal from Amy O'Sullivan along with 4 points from frees saw Cillard in the lead in the first half . Cillards hand passing and team play which they had shown throughout the tournment was interrupted due to the persistent rain that fell throughout the game in Cahir Co. Tipperary and a strong and determined second half from the more physical Tyrone team. They had Cillard on the back foot until Caoimhe Spillane got a brilliant goal for Cillard and gave us some breathing room. Tyrone answered back with a goal of their own that left just 3 pts between the sides and when Eglish were awarded a free 25 meters out with just seconds on the clock extra time looked to be on the cards ; the shot was saved and cleared as the final whistle sounded. There was great scenes of jubilation as Sarah Walsh accepted the Div 4 trophy on behalf of the panel as Cillard were crowned John West champions for the second time on a scoreline of 2-7 to 2-4
Division 4 Final Replay: Castleisland Desmonds 0.11 -v- Finuge 1.11 Report by Maurice Mannix - In the McCarthy Insurance Brokers Listowel sponsored Div.4 N.K.L. final played in Casleisland last Thursday evening between Castleisland and Finuge all present were treated to a very enjoyable hour of football. Both sides had a youthful look about them and from the outset the two teams set about playing open and attractive football committed too attack on a constant basis.Castleisland opened the scoring in the first minute with a point by corner forward Tadgh Walsh. That was added to by another point in the 4th minute from a free by Steven Bartlett.Finuge responded with a point from Gary Hogan converting a close in free. Both sides attacked but could not add to the scoring until Brendan Angland hit the net for Finuge with a well taken goal in the 12th minute. This ultimately proved to be a very valuable goal in the overall context of the game. The response though by Castleisland was swift when they added points byGraham Connor and Steven Bartlett the latter was a tremendous score from play. From there to half time both exchanged further points Finuges from James Flaherty, Gary Hogan and midfielder Ian MacAulliffe and Castleilands came from Ciaran Breen and again the very accurate Steven Bartlett to leave the half time score Finuge 1. 05 Castlisland 0. 06. Finuge began the second half in style when midfielder John Buckley added two further points inside the opening three minutes. This was the start Castleisland needed but they did respond with points by Tadgh Walsh and a free by Steven Bartlett. Again both teams exchanged points from Darran oSullivan for Finuge and Steven Bartlett Castleisland both operating at centre forward. Ian MacAulliffe added his second point for Finuge followed by another excellent point for Finuge coming from corner forward Colin Sheehy. Castlisland were not prepared to give in and the outstanding Steven Bartlett added three more points (two frees) and a sweet point from play. With Finuge holding a two point lead going into the final minute their half back Michael Stackpoole popped another point over giving them a three point lead going into injury time.Finuge had to defend a fiece onslaught from Castleiland in injury time as they hit the cross bar and had another stopped on the line as Finuge held out in an exciting end to a real good game of football. Welldone to both teams for the entertainment they provided and Ref Brendan Griffin and his Officials. THE MIRACLE PRAYER Dear Heart of Jesus in the past I have asked many favours. This time I ask you this special one, (mention favour). Take it dear heart of Jesus and place it within your heart where your father sees it. Then in his merciful eyes it will become your own favour not mine. Amen. Say this prayer three times for three days and your favour will be granted. Never been known to fail. Must promise publication of prayer. B.H.
