More Positive Positive V Negative. Many things can sway us from one to the other . The weather for exam ple, sunny days compared to rainy days. These are some of the things we have no control over. Focus on the things we have control over to leave you feeling more positive and getting an outcome that will benefit you for the better.

BOOK OF THE WEEK
Abu Dhabi Na Fianna is one of the world’s fast est growing GAA clubs. It is the only club that has hosted the GAA World Games as well as countless Inter-County teams and a GAA AllStars tour. This book charts the meteoric rise to fame of Na Fianna from the perspectives of the ten Chairmen who led the organisation’s 25-year journey. Each shared a messianic desire to lead the club with influence and impact. Their incisive recollections immerse you in a concoction of trials, tribulations and triumphs. Through gripping and exposing narratives, extraordinary adventures are relived. Each chair waxes lyrical about the importance of surviving and prospering. Over 100 internal and external stakeholders submit enlightening testimoni als, and the best teams from various eras are chosen. The results of psy chometric tests performed on each Chair allow readers to gain insight into the minds of these luminaries. The club’s extensive philanthropy work is also highlighted. Recollections penned in this epic journey can now be bequeathed to future club members, and moved into history.

Some words that may come to mind when you are answering that question could be for example..I am Great, I’m Ok, Grand, Fine, Awful, Not too good, Hanging in there. Your answer could be from a positive answer to a negative answer, all depending on your mood and feelings at the time.

OurU14:U14 hurlers were out twice this week in the U14 North Kerry “A” Championship. On Monday they took on Crotta at home for a spot in the final and their chance to retain the Michael Hennessy memorial trophy. The boys had a comprehensive win against a depleted Crotta team and qualified for the final. The fi nal, which took place on Friday night in Kilmoyley, was a repeat of Monday’s game. It was Crotta that started stronger on the night and two early goals left our boys with a mountain to climb in the second half. John Curtin managed to claw back some of the deficit late in the second half with a couple of late goals but at the final whistle it was Crotta that emerged victorious.

BEREAVEMENT
DEATH
It is with great sadness that we received the news that Brendan Hennessy had passed away in the USA. One of the Hennessy brothers who gave such sterling service to Ballyduff and Kerry hurling. He was on the 1955 team that made the breakthrough to bring back the County Hurling Championship to Ballyduff after an absence of 64 years, playing midfield at the tender age of 17. In 1957 he was captain when Ballyduff regained the title. Sadly, emigration took him to New York. He played hurling with The Kilkenny team in New York but was on the losing side in 1962 & 1963. He played football with Kerry and won New York Championships in 1959,1960, 1962 ,1963,1966 and 1967.

The Word of God tells me all that l need to know on this earth. John 3:16-17 is the greatest news l will ever hear. It says “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.”
