Benedictory Message from our Kulaguru Jagadguru Shankaracharya Sri Sri Bharati Tirtha Mahaswamiji, Dakshinamnaya Sri Sharada Peetham, Sringeri
A Purposeful Day Today people usually refer to certain days as special or as red-letter days. Often times, they regard such days as special when they have met a famous personality. In the case of institutions, it is considered as a golden day, when a foundation stone is laid or a new project is launched. However there is a verse that states what our ancestors considered to be a special or purposeful day: कृतग ोदक ानं ुतभारतस थं । अिचता ुतपादा ं िदनं क शता रं ।। (That day when you have had the opportunity to be in a holy place, that day when you have heard the noble stories related to God, and that day when the Lotus Feet of God have been worshipped, is considered better than (even) a hundred years of Brahma.) Our forefathers felt complete if they were able to visit a holy place. They used to await the day when they could get the opportunity to go to Kashi. Their thoughts were, “Would I be able to go to Kashi? Would I be able to complete a holy dip in the Ganga? Would I have the Darshan of Lord Vishweshwara?” They felt that their lives would be purposeful if they were able to visit Kashi at least once in their lifetime. Similarly, a day on which Puranas and Itihasas such as Mahabharata, Ramayanam, Bhagavatam, Shiva Puranam, Devi Puranam, Markandeya Puranam etc., were recited, was considered an auspicious day. Also, a day on which Puja to Ishwara was offered with supreme devotion was considered to be a purposeful day. We think that our life is getting purposeful as we keep making progress in the worldly life. What we tend to achieve in the worldly life is only enough for progress in this world. All the progress that we seemed to have made in this world will not be of any help in the next world (para-loka) or during a rebirth. Whatever Dharma (or) Ishwara Puja we do in this birth will benefit us during a rebirth. May everyone understand this, make their days purposeful and attain Shreyas.

EDITOR’S NOTE Dear Readers,
astrologers to wear as a remedial measure. This article by Dr Rudra Prasanna Mohapatra explains the powers of Gauri Shankar Rudraksh which is represented as combined form of Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati.
The nail biting saga of the most anticipated US Presidential Elections comes to an end, declaring Democratic candidate Joe Biden as the winner and the President-elect of the USA. Our beloved Editor-in-Chief, Bangalore Niranjan Babu in the October 2020 edition of The Astrological eMagazine, had predicted the outcome where he mentions that since both the Dasa lord Jupiter and Bhukti lord Rahu are in Biden’s favour transit wise, the result will be in his favour, indicating his victory. Similarly, Dr. Nemani Venkata Raghunatha Rao using Chaitra Shukla Pratipada chart for Washington DC predicted the same outcome. Congratulations to both!
The all powerful Saturn is considered as the jewel of the solar system. Dr. N. Chandrashekar takes us to a world of possibilities of Aquarian Age or Kumbha Yoga, where Saturn is the Lord of the Aquarian Age. Come aboard on this journey to the future. Going back to historic events, we present an interesting horoscope study of the Beirut explosion and Hiroshima atomic bombing that took place in 2020 and 1945 respectively. Read on to understand the commonalities of both the events from an astrological perspective by R S Maniam.
As we wrap the year 2020, let us recall some of the key events that took place. The year has been shadowed with the clouds of Coronavirus; devastating cyclones and floods sweeping states of Telangana, Assam; communal riots of Delhi; India China stand-off. The year also witnessed the Bhoomi Puja of Rama temple in Ayodhya. Astrologically, the year began with a six planet conjunction in Sagittarius, Jupiter moving to Capricorn (its sign of debilitation) in March, followed with Rahu moving to Taurus, and naturally Ketu to Scorpio. Now in December we are experiencing the Great Conjunction of Jupiter and Saturn. It is an extraordinary event owing to the fact that the planets are separated by just one tenth degree, the closest ever since the year 1623!
Rasi Tulya Navamsa method is used to determine the subtle aspects of Grahas reflected through a proper correlation of Rasi (D-1) and Navamsa (D-9) charts. Dr. Nemani Venkata Raghunatha Rao offers principles and examples to demonstrate Rasi Tulya Navamsa method to understand why the natives with exalted planets did not get the fruits of an exalted planets. What makes our beloved Prime Minster Shri. Narendra Modi extraordinary? Prof. Dr. N. S. Murthy, in continuation to his previous article published in September edition, provides an in-depth study of various yogas present at the time of his birth and how each yoga is impacting his life and personality, with a special focus on his career in politics.
As you are aware, Jupiter is a benefic planet and Saturn is extremely malefic. When the exact conjunction occurs on 21 December, Saturn and Jupiter will be in Capricorn or Makara - 7 degrees 47 minutes and 34 seconds, in the constellation of Uttarashada ruled by Sun and Meena Navamsa ruled by Jupiter. Raman Suprajarama offers a detailed analysis of the impact of this great conjunction for few countries including India and USA, and on individual moon signs.
Stijn Cuypers continues his article on offering his perspective on astrological significance of the three core geometrical points - the Ascendant, the Sun and the Moon. In this edition, he speaks about the solar currents, and in the end, concludes that tropical system should be used, for determining the position of the Sun the equinoxes, solstices, and solar ingresses.
The ancient vedic rishis were great scientists apart from being great philosophers. They were the masters of engineering which is evident in the incredible ancient monuments and temples you see globally. One such engineering marvel is Shiva Lingam. Our revered chief editor, Bangalore Niranjan Babu, very beautifully explains the significance of Shiva Lingam and provides information related to the Panchabhuta temples of Lord Shiva and Jyothirlingams of India.
For those who missed reading any of the previous editions, or want a recap of what we covered so far in The Astrological eMagazine in year 2020, you will find the contents listed in this edition. The magazine ends with the monthly features with the most awaited predictions for your Moon signs, ephemeris, calendar and panchanga for the month of December.
Radhakrishnan Nair, in a succinct manner, explains the nature of Paramatma and its various manifestations. It is a reminder to bring us back to the roots and re-align ourselves to the core principles of Sanatana Dharma by following Satkarma and deep gratitude towards the Paramatma.
We wish all the readers a happy New Year in advance! Share your comments or suggestions at info@astrologicalmagazine.com.

Beirut explosion
In both the incidents the transit of the planets Sun, which rules the political scenario in mundane affairs was in the constellation Aslesha. On the 4th August 2020, the Sun was at 18024' in the sign of Cancer in the constellation Aslesyha 1st pada. While in the Hiroshima bombing, the Sun occupied 18024' Aslesha 2nd pada. The most interesting is the constellation of Aslesha which is considered as Venomous. It is a symbol of coiled serpent. It is Rakshasa gana which is violent in nature. The venomous nature will destroy the enemy. It is termed as Gandhanta star. According to Chris wheels, it is devious and dangerous.
Hiroshima Atomic Explosion
Beirut explosion of 4th August 2020 was estimated at 1/5 the size of the Nuclear blast of Hiroshima. The explosion occurred where Ammonium Nitrate was stored. The explosion was heard at 100 miles away. The place looked like a war zone.

In both the incidents, the Moon which rules the mass public and also which causes depression and fear was transiting with Saturn and the planet Saturn is normally said to cause miseries. On the 4th August 2020 in Beirut incident, Moon and Saturn were together in the sign of Capricorn. While in the Hiroshima bombing, Moon and Saturn were associated in the sign of Gemini. In the Hiroshima incident, it was an exact conjunction, more fearing and devastating than Beirut incident.

In both violent explosions, the nodes were transiting in the Sagittarius and Gemini axis; explosions involving Sagittarius (Fire element) and Gemini (Airy element). Rahu in Gemini while Ketu in Sagittarius. In the Hiroshima attack, it was transiting at 15049' in the respective signs. While in the Beirut explosion it was at 4013' in Sagittarius and Gemini. Furthermore, in both incidents the Sun passed an eclipse in Gemini. In 1945, there was a Solar eclipse on 9th July 1945. While in 2020, the Solar eclipse occurred on June 21. There was an 18 days difference in both incidents. Both were presided by Solar eclipse, which is considered politically sensitive point. In 2020 there was lunar eclipse on 25/26 June while 1945 the lunar eclipse occurred 4/5 July 2020. Just about ten days apart.

WHEN DO EXALTED PLANETS BECOME FRUITLESS? SECRETS OF RASI TULYA NAVAMSA
TOOLS & TECHNIQUES
Dr. Nemani Venkata Raghunatha Rao Dr. Nemani Venkata Raghunatha Rao is from Parvatipuram (Near Vizag), India and lives in San Francisco, USA. Dr. Raghunatha Rao has been practicing Vedic Astrology since 2002. With a doctorate in Business Management by profession, he considers H. Ramadas Rao, Pt. Sanjay Rath, Pt. Dakshinamoorthy Ramasamy and Swami Omkar as his Jyotish Teachers. Dr. Rao has recently received Jyotish Visharada from the Council of Vedic Astrology (CVA), USA.
Dr. Nemani Venkata Raghunatha Rao Rasi Tulya Navamsa method is used to determine the subtle aspects of Grahas reflected through a proper correlation of Rasi (D1) and Navamsa (D-9) charts. As you all know, planetary placements or positions in Navamsa chart are very pronounced. Grahas in trines in Navamsa chart bear a strong impact to be able to mold the dharma of a person, as Navamsa Lagna has a strong bearing over an appearance of an individual. Hence, it is very important that planetary placement in Navamsa is appropriately correlated to a Rasi chart. If a Graha in the Navamsa chart is placed in a sign falling in Lagna in a Rasi chart, then its placement is known as Lagnamsa (please make a note of the difference between this term and Lagna in Navamsa chart). If a Graha is placed in a sign falling in the 2nd house in a Rasi chart, then its placement is known as Dhanamsa, in the 3rd house Vikramsa, in the 4th house Sukhamsa, in the 5th house Putramsa in the 6th house Shastamsa, in the 7th house Bharyamsa, in the 8th house Randramsa, in the 9th house Bhagyamsa, in the 10th house Karmamsa, in the 11th house Labhamsa in the 12th house Vyayamsa. I will write in detail about these in a later paper. I am giving below some principles and illustrated with some charts to demonstrate its application of why these natives with exalted planet (or planets) did not get the fruits of an exalted planets. Principles: 1. Look at the sign occupied by Grahas in a Navamsa chart. 2. Find that sign in a Rasi chart, and place the Graha from its Navamsa position to the same sign in the Rasi chart. 3. Consider the planetary placement therein and read the Rasi Chart. Notes: I’ve used few privately collected charts and used True Lahiri/ChitraPaksha Ayanamsa in casting these example charts. Chart-01: • October 16, 1954, Time: 11:36 PM, Time Zone: 1:00 (East of GMT), Place: 19 E 39' 00", 46 N 06' 00", Subotica, Yugoslavia.

This native has three Grahas (Jupiter, Saturn and Mars) in exaltation in Kendra and Mahapurush Yogas are formed. However, both Sun and Moon are weak as Sun being in Rasi Sandhi, while Moon is afflicted by Ketu in debilitation and placed in the 12th house. This native is neither successful, nor prosperous, in spite of mutual aspects of exalted 9th and 10th lords. He is also childless. He had more than one marriage, which is seen by conjunction of the 7th house lord Saturn with Mercury (lord of 12th and 3rd Houses) in trines to Moon (Lagna lord). UNRAVELLING THE SCIENCE BEHIND SHIVA LINGAM Bangalore Niranjan Babu
The ancient vedic Rishis were great scientists apart from being great philosophers and knowers of the power of the higher energies. They had mastered the power of observation and excelled in astrology, architecture, medicine, mathematics, engineering, astronomy, military (astra vidya), meteorology, geology, physics, flying (vimana vidya), and more. The huge buildings of Bharata (Ancient India), gigantic temples built from lofty rocks with incredible labor like Ajanta, Elephanta and Elora speaks volumes of the impressive engineering skills of the ancients.
Mention is also made of an incident where Sage Vyasa gives a powerful telescope to Sanjaya, at Indraprastha, to witness the battle going on in Kurukshetra which is at a distance of 160 kilometers. Was it just a powerful telescope or was it that the ancestors were much aware of today's visual sciences and live streaming? We can go on and on detailing about the great scientific advancement of the ancient Hindus. Suffice to say that the ancient Vedic sages knew a lot more than the modern scientists of today. They have invented technologies and constructed many things including temples, yantras and deities for the benefit of mankind, and these continue to harness and distribute the higher energies to mankind. Shiva Lingam is one such powerful technology, the secrets of which I’ll reveal in the coming paragraphs.
We find in Mahabharatha that the ancestors had abundant knowledge in mechanics. The great architect Mayasura constructs the Mayasabha and presents it to the Pandavas and mentions it is made of microscopes and telescopes. It is said that the Mayasabha, which could be moved, could accommodate thousands of people. Yet it required just ten people to turn and move it in any direction that they wished. December 2020
What is a Shiva Lingam?
Shiva Lingam is a powerful Yantra or a technology. At the face it, it looks like a cylinder sitting on top of a round pedestal. It is considered to be the representation of Lord Shiva, the slayer of evil.

MUNDANE ASTROLOGY

Attributes Signified by Jupiter and Saturn
Jupiter Saturn conjunction takes place on December 21, 2020. This is a once in a lifetime event. The angular distance between Jupiter and Saturn will only be six minutes (6’). The last time they were this close was in 1623, nearly 4 centuries ago and the next such occurrence will be in 2080 by which time many of us would have left our mortal self.
Saturn is commonly understood to be a malefic planet i.e. a planet that causes sorrow and misery. He is the most feared planet. Jupiter on the other hand is understood to be a benefic planet. Guru or Brihaspathi is like a teacher who guides people to happiness and comforts.
Astrologically speaking, this is a significant conjunction. Saturn and Jupiter are the biggest and most influential planets among the Navagrahas or the 9 heavenly bodies influencing earth and earthlings. The exact conjunction of the two planets – Jupiter and Saturn – occurs at 23:40:42 hrs IST. At this time, Saturn and Jupiter will be in the sign of Capricorn or Makara at 7 degrees 47 minutes and 34 seconds, in the constellation of Uttarashada ruled by Sun and Meena Navamsa ruled by Jupiter.
The following sloka expounds the aspects governed by Jupiter.

THE ALL PERVASIVE PARAMATMA AND ITS MANIFESTATIONS Radhakrishnan Nair
Brahman or Paramatma is all pervasive with enormous power. The author in a succinct manner, explains the nature of Paramatma and its various manifestations. It is a reminder to bring us back to the roots and re-align ourselves to the core principles of Sanatana Dharma by following Satkarma and deep gratitude towards the Paramatma. What little I understood as essence, by reading a few books from the precious and voluminous scriptures of Sanatana Dharma, the entire edifice of Indian Philosophical thoughts and the perennial wisdom of ages, founded firmly on Vedas, is that there is only one God and that is the Brahman. It is that no question remains unanswered in our ancient Hindu scriptures. The whole world literatures put together will not weigh equal to our scriptures. It is a treasure house of knowledge yet to be explored in many Chathuryugas.
of Himalayas and other such sacred places, where they could commune with the Brahman, and listen to his words made it clear that the above Devas are not different from Brahman, the PARAMATMA or God, but only to give the devotees a personal form or attribute (Vyaktigatha Bhavam/Roopam) ‘upadhi’ to worship as they like in a vibrant variety. With various kinds of bhakti, like prema bhakti/vatsalya bhakti etc., of their own, in close proximity. HE is immanent and transcendent. It is like all the rivers flowing towards the great ocean. They also made certain ritualistic rules or Vedic injunctions to use for worship as the Moorthy they use. People were satisfied, they worshipped and are still worshipping Devas gladly mostly for material, and sometimes for spiritual benefits. It proved the fact that God alone or people alone, cannot live happily; only when they mutually interact, they can live, which is called ‘Lokayutham’ or Materialism. It reminds me of Jawaharlal Nehru’s words, ‘The East is East and West is West, but when both combine, produce the Best.’ Divinity is not separate from Humanity. The Lord and His creations, together make the world joyous. Bhagavan is capable of doing anything sitting quietly in His Abode, by His ‘sankalapa’ alone. He is the number one ‘Bhavagrahi’, he understands our bhava (the exact thought and attitude of our mind) well beforehand. Mutual understanding based on divinity, with providence and prudence together with unselfishness, develops love among people. We should get rid of our ego, which is the main reason for our destruction.
The Brahman, also known by many names like PARAMATMA, ParaVasudeva, God, Eswaran, Bhagavan etc., is the one and the same and is all pervasive. The Brahman is the Impersonal Concept (Avyaktigata Bhava) of God. Naturally a question comes there: ‘Is there a Personal Concept or Form (Vyktigata Bhava or Roopa) of God? Yes, of course, the Brahman can manifest in any form since the Brahman is the Supreme Power, all pervading and with all potentialities put together. The Paramatma is like the air inside and outside of a pot, kept open. We are the pots. When the pot is broken or destroyed, the air inside and outside it, becomes one. The Brahman is not an object, but is the subject, and the one and only subject. All sentients and in-sentients, including their habitat, is Brahman. The Brahman is infinite and of very great magnitude, voluminous, diverse and quite indescribable, ‘‘Ananatham, Ajnatham, Avarnaneeyam” Everything is in Brahman. Karma forms a significant part of the Brahman. But it is independent and works on its own. The Paramatma acts as a witness or Sakshi to Karma. Karma is the law of consequences of merit and demerit of our actions, whether it is done by mind, words and deeds ‘Manasa, Vacha and Karmana’ including that of our past births. There is no way out, to escape from the result of KARMA. Every ounce of it, we have to experience. What we sow, so shall we reap. Brahman remains a witness to it, like its maya or deluded potency. Understanding that this is not enough for those dull-minded ‘manda-budhis’ like us, to do Satkarmas and to worship God, with focused attention and concentration, the Paramatma, which could create, sustain and annihilate anything and everything by mere imagining (Sankalapamathrayil) - transcended into three forms as ‘Bahma, Vishnu and Maheswara’. They again multiplied themselves into 33 crores (muppathi-mukkodi) of Devatas ‘demigods’ so that no one is left for his choice of worship. Our ancient Seers/Sages/Rishis, sitting austere and sublime, doing severe penance and ‘tapas’ in the dark caves December 2020
We should be social for a meaningful and happy life in the world and always indebted to God. God, whether in personal form or impersonal form, is omnipotent and is ‘Sudha Satwa’. By birth itself it is so, since Bhagavan was born in the Milky Ocean (Palazhy). He is Ksheerodakashayi. But we are born in the amniotic fluid (water) in the womb of our Mother- Udakodakashayi. We are not born Sudha Satwa, by birth. It is also not easy to become Sudha Satwa, since by birth itself, we are an admixture of the three gunas Satwa, Rajas and Tamas - put together. It says that in the colorful abode of Bhagavan, Vaikuntam, there is no rain, heat, rest rooms or the like. There are no entrails like ours, inside Bhagavan’s body. Bhagavan’s body is clean and it is called ‘Sachit’- Thirumeni. He is always in ‘Sachidananda Swaroopa’- Existence, Conscience and Bliss. It says that Brahmaji took years and extraordinary things like sky buds, roots of grinding stones and many such rarest of the rare things, from different places, for making the Thirumeni of Lord Krishna. In the final stage, after so many

ASTRO-SPIRITUAL IMPLICATIONS OF GAURI SHANKAR RUDRAKSH
REMEDIES
Dr. Rudra Prasanna Mohapatra
Dr. Rudra Prasanna Mohapatra
Dr Rudra Prasanna Mohapatra is an astrological consultant practicing for last 5 years. He is a Ph. D. (Vidya Vachaspati) Scholar in Astrology (Medical Astrology) at Shree Maharshi College of Vedic Astrology, Udaipur, Rajasthan, and an honorary Professor, Ph.D. and D.Litt. from Prixton University, Florida, USA. He is also a registered member to All India Federation of Astrologers, Societies (AIFAS) and International Society For Astrological Research (ISAR). His interest is in the study of Rudraksh and that’s why he works under the title of “Rudraksh Jyotish.” In July 2020, he was conferred with honorary title of “GURU” by Prixton Church and University, Germany.
Rudraksha are the dried seeds of a tree, which are also called “Tears of Shiva” and are traditionally worn by yogis and rishis from time immemorial for self empowerment and spiritual growth. It is believed that Rudraksh has the powers to eliminate malefic affects of planets and are being advocated by astrologers to wear as a remedial measure. This article explains in detail about the powers of Gauri Shankar Rudraksh which is represented as combined form of Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati. Gauri Shankar Rudraksh is much sacred compared to other Rudraksh. It has dual role of astrological and greater spiritual benefits. Read on to learn more about it’s various benefits. Rudraksh remedies are hardly explained in any astrological classics. Even it is exceedingly difficult to determine exactly in which year Rudraksh were taken as remedies in Vedic astrology or modern astrology. It is with lot of personal consultations with some astrologers from the last 75 years about Rudraksh being used as astrological remedies. But for sure it cannot be put scientifically without any authentic written evidences in Vedic, Upanisadic or astrological literature. In his research paper, “Rudraksha-The Eye of Rudra: Its Benefits and More” published in March 2020 issue of The Astrological eMagazine, Dr. E.S. Neelakantan has expressed Rudraksh remedies by birth constellations (Nakshatras) and also said it is not hard and fast to follow these rules. However, Dr. Neelakantan marched one step ahead by delineating Rudraksh remedies for birth constellations not confining it to the planets. But there is also no explanation on why the Rudraksh is considered remedial as per classics. However, various sources of sacred texts of Hinduism are sited. My research paper “Implications of Rudraksha in Astrology” was published in Planets and Forecast (April 2020) also raised the same questions. Overall, it can be concluded that the exact year of Rudraksh as astrological remedies (be it according to planets or constellations) has not yet been identified. However, use of Rudraksh in spirituality is from Vedic era when all the Rishis are found to wear Rudraksh for enhancement of energy body. This is continuing till date. Therefore, readers are encouraged to throw light on this issue with authentic evidence.
It is said the root of the Rudrkash tree is Brahama, the fibre of it is Vishnu and the top is Rudra. The fruits are all the Devas, Rudraksh Jabal Upanishat. Gauri Shankar Rudraksh is the product of genetic disorder (irregular cell division) when two-conjoined Rudraksh are formed. This type of abnormality is not only seen in many fruits (like conjoint banana) but also in humans, when the twins are born due to this type of irregular cell division in placenta. But unlike other fruits, those are conjoined, Gauri Shankar Rudraksh is much sacred compared to other Rudraksh. It has dual role of astrological and greater spiritual benefits. They are controlling planetary implications in one’s chart and energizing Ida and Pingala nadi of the wearer. These are the two Nadis as explained in the yogic science viz. one as masculine and another as feminine. Balancing of these two Nadis enhance the receptivity of cosmic energy for individuals. That is why many yogic practitioners are advised to put on Gauri Shankar Rudraksh to enhance their receptivity. In this research paper the astrological implications of Gauri Shankar Rudraksh shall only be discussed. December 2020

THE SIGNIFICANCE OF SUN, MOON AND THE ASCENDANT Stijn Cuypers
PART 2*
Born in Belgium (1979), he studied Germanic languages at the Catholic Universities of Brussels and Leuven. In 2013, during his stay in India, he took up the study of Astrology and Palmistry under Dr Gaurav Agrawal. Fascinated with Astro-Palmistry, the link between astrology and palmistry, he did research into the matter and recovered its genuine principles. He published The Simian Line (available through Amazon), to serve as a medium for sharing his discoveries on Astro-Palmistry and astro fertility. He has been published in ISAR’s International Astrologer (December 2019; August 2020). Contact: stijncuypers79@gmail.com

Solar Currents
most negative in the beginning of spring and that is why it receives most at that time. This is the reason why of all seasons of the year, the solar rays have a most curative effect during the spring.” That is, starting from the spring equinox – March 20th in the northern hemisphere, or September 22nd in the southern hemisphere.
The Bulgarian Master, Peter Deunov, explains that from midnight till noon, the Earth (i.e. any respective part) is negative and therefore more receptive, while from noon till midnight it is positive and gives more. He says, “The Earth is negative in the highest degree at sunrise, which means that at that time it receives most. This fact is of highest importance for us, since it reveals the great significance and value of sunrise. We must take into consideration the following law: we form a part of the earthly organism and therefore when the earth receives, we also receive and when the earth gives, we also give. This is exactly why the first rays of the sun are the most powerful. At that moment the human organism is most receptive toward the solar energies.
He is quite firm about the significance of the sunrise. In his book The Sacred Power of the Sun, he writes: “Whoever is too lazy to get up early to meet the first rays of the Sun, however much he warms himself at the noon rays of the Sun, he would obtain nothing.”3 He warns us not sleep during the day, especially when the “black” sunbeams are active, i.e. in the afternoon. He says it can make one feel unwell, tired, or depressed. His book, Health Guide4, contains lots of practical information on the subject. He explains that, since the legs cannot receive the energy of the Sun directly, they receive energy from the center of the Earth.5 He advises barefoot walking in Spring and Summer to absorb the Earth’s electrical currents and magnetism. As with watching the Sun, he advises to do so only in the morning time.6 More recently, sun yoga has been gaining a wide following, thanks to the efforts of the Hira Ratan Manek (HRM), who developed a “protocol” for safe sungazing. One should only look at the sun during the “window” between sunrise until one hour after sunrise. Starting with 10 seconds on the first day, no more, one may increase it by maximum 10 seconds per day. After three months, one will be gazing at the Sun for 15 minutes, after six months, half an hour, and after nine months, 45 minutes. The time should not be increased more than 45 minutes. HRM recommends standing barefooted on dirt or sand.
There is always more vital energy or prana in the morning than at noontime, and the living organism absorbs the greatest quantity of positive energies (prana) at that time.”1 Sri Yukteswar advises pranayama four times daily to counteract the changes in the Earth’s electrical currents. Peter Deunov advises Surya yoga at dawn to absorb the Sun’s beneficial energies. In Vedic culture, the dawn corresponds with “Brahma muhurta”, a period of one and a half hours before sunrise. It is considered the most auspicious time for pranayama and meditation. As the time of sunrise may vary each day, the time of the Brahma muhurta also varies. Peter Deunov2, however, says the best hours to get up are 3, 5, or 6 a.m. Sri Yukteswar always rose at 3 a.m. to practice yoga pranayama.
Another promotor of sungazing is Sunyogi Umashankar, who recommends sitting cross-legged (or in the Lotus Posture) on the ground. Like this, the body can absorb the Earth’s beneficial currents through the tailbone.

“One needs to strike the iron when it is hot. After the Muhurta (auspicious time) has passed, not a thousand blows will produce the desired result.” (Sri Yukteswar)
Peter Deunov places great importance on the vernal equinox. He explains that the solar rays do not act in the same way during all the seasons of the year. “The Earth is December 2020

We all know astrology is non-religious and its use and application are global and beyond. According to astrological dictums Saturn, known as the Jewel of the Solar System because of its huge icy rings, has the maximum influence on human affairs on the planet Earth. As per Vedic astrology the different phases of Saturn periods like Sade Saati (3 Rasi), Ashtama Shani (1 Rasi), Ardaashtama Shani (1 Rasi), Panchama Shani (1 Rasi), Navama Shani (1 Rasi) are under the influence of Saturn at any given time which means 55% of people are under Saturn's influence. In addition to the above, there are people with Shani Dasa (Saturn Dasa Period of Dynamic Saturn for 19 years) and Shani Bhukthi’s (Various smaller dynamic periods of different major dasas) running at any given time for different people which is a considerable percentage.
Vedic astrology discovers what is known as the “Precision of Equinoxes” that occurs once in 25,827 years which modern science simply says it as correct. Astronomers or Astronomy tells that earth rotates on an axis and that this line going through the center of the earth has a slight wobble to it. It goes through a little circular wobble about once every 25,827 years. This cycle has been divided into 12 parts (12 Zodiac signs) based on which constellation the axis is wobbling towards and each sign gets 2,000+ years approximately and accordingly:
So, with all this data on Saturn’s influence we can safely say Saturn has a major say in human affairs with energy keys in his custody. That is the reason why Saturn is considered as both friend and foe of humans and this influence may be extended to other planets also during Aquarian Age as Saturn is the Lord of the Aquarian Age. From ancient times it is observed by all categories of Astrologers and noted that - "All high order achievements by humans” either individually or collectively has happened under the good influence and help of Saturn, in individual horoscopes or national horoscopes or horoscopes of global events. So, in the light of this understanding it is safe to say that the following may happen during the Aquarian Age or Kumbha Yuga where the lordship of Saturn is reigning for next 2000 years and for this reason we may also call it as Saturn Age or shani Yuga.

2,000 - 4,000 AD (Age of Aquarius - Kumbha Yuga) the current one. According to one calculation, the Aquarian age or Kumbha Yuga started on 05-02-1962 AD and will influence the human society on planet earth for the next 2000 years approximately.
As we all know since 05-02-1962 it is the “Knowledge revolution” meaning "knowledge and knowing” is happening exponentially in human society on this planet. Extensive technological and scientific growth has been happening at a very high speed since 05-02-1962. Now, every new day, there is a new idea coming in the world and results of this knowledge revolution will continue for few more hundred years which means what is happening now is just "baby steps” of human race in Aquarian Age or Kumbha Yuga.
