of Living Well magazine for the month of July, there’s a warm-weather influence indicated “On the Summer Side of Life” and “Sports Pack Summer.” Both articles reflect aspects of this season of sunshine and activity in balmy weather with sides of AIM nutrition.

AIM nutrition began back in 1982 with the juice powder of barley grass, creating “ The BarleyLife Bond ” that lasts to this very day. Getting down to business, “ The Business of Network Marketing ” delves into the way AIM operates as a company with a sales team of Members acting as independent distributors of nutrition that works. It’s also a business model that works because of the AIM difference.

“ BioVivify Benefits ” for hair, nails, skin and more continue to be shared in testimonials from those who regularly take this dietary supplement that AIM introduced to the product lineup a year ago. (And there are secret whispers of something new in the way of introductions on the AIM horizon.)

Member events that offer the opportunity to learn about AIM nutrition are always welcome items on the news page of the magazine. Chairman’s Club Director Charlotte Thompson has been hosting an annual event for two decades, and this issue features the successful “ 20th Anniversary Annual Ohio AIM Member Conference” held this past May.

And of all the puzzles in life, the magazine’s monthly puzzle is simply good fun—a content quiz of what you have read . . . in this issue.

The location for growing crops of beets and carrots has shifted from the Southeastern region of the USA to the Northwest, resulting in a slight taste difference for Just Carrots and RediBeets.

Now that the season of warmth has moved into the Northern Hemisphere, blue skies and balmy weather put most folks in a sunny disposition. It’s generally an easygoing time that somehow puts an optimistic glow on life in general.

It’s also the season for comfortable outdoor eating, exercising and even sleeping. Barbecuing, swimming, hiking and overnighting in a tent are just a few of the many popular activities that fair weather makes all the more enjoyable.

Spending stress-free time in backyards, cooling off at local swimming pools or beaches, exploring trails off the beaten path and camping in nature are examples of pleasurable summer pastimes that can create long-lasting memories.

Having more hours of sunlight each day has a positive effect on well-being. And without the need to dress warmly, people can step outside and feel the sun on their skin. Having natural access to vitamin D

daily in the summertime is likely one of the physiological reasons for feeling better, if not healthier.

One of the side effects of this typically laid-back season is the tendency to be more relaxed about nutritional intake, especially in regard to barbecued meats, ice cream and other summer treats. 20th Annual Ohio AIM Member Conference

Our speakers arrived on May 3 to join some of our local AIM Directors for our Annual Directors Supper on the evening before the conference began. We like to incorporate both events into one each year. We appreciate AIM Preferred Members Henry and Michelle Miller for opening their nice shop for a gathering place. It was a beautiful evening of wonderful AIM fellowship with a potluck dinner from local AIM Directors.

We were so privileged to celebrate our 20th Anniversary Ohio meeting with over 125 in attendance. Our speakers coming from a long distance were AIM Chairman's Club Directors Dr. John and Marilyn Shewfelt from Ontario, Canada, AIM Royal Emerald Directors Charlie and Joyce Brown from North Carolina, AIM Star Sapphire Directors Eddie and Leré Robinson from South Carolina, and AIM Chairman's Club Director Brent Peterson from North Dakota. In addition to our out-of-state speakers, other Members joined us from New York, Wisconsin, Indiana, Montana and Ohio.

Charlie Brown’s presentations were on a “Healthy Colon and Digestive System.” Dr. Shewfelt targeted “Nutrition with AIM Products” and the “Healthy Cell

Concept.” Brent Peterson spoke on “Sugar, Sugar, Sugar!” Leré Robinson presented “What is Candida?” as well as “Hormones.” Following Leré’s hormone presentation, she was joined by AIM Star Sapphire Director Joy Thompson, AIM Chairman's Club Director Karen Miller and AIM Chairman's Club Director Emma Miller to form a women’s panel for discussion.

Wearing the lovely aprons sewn by Joyce Brown many years ago for international meetings in years past, Dr. John Shewfelt, Charlie Brown and Brent Peterson (Ralph Peterson’s son) sang both the “AIM Garden Trio” and the “AIM Herbal Fiberblend” songs. It was so special for all of us. This “Singing Trio” also performed a special tribute song for Keith and Charlotte Thompson.
