Bounce into Spring Depending on where you live in Canada, you may be experiencing the first joyous signs of spring: the first buds and blooms, the warmer weather, the growing absence of snow. We move towards the season’s highlights, such as Easter and Earth Day, and of course the release of being able to pack up our bulky winter gear and maybe even wear short sleeves again! Indeed, there are many great health benefits to this time of year.1 Extra daylight has a huge benefit on our wholebody health.2 Being able to spend more time outdoors due to the longer days tends to be a natural mood booster. A longer morning jog or evening stroll after dinner is now much more enticing and safe. Some studies have shown that the additional hour of daylight added to our evenings due to daylight saving time may lessen the number of automobile accidents because of better driving visibility, though be aware of the temporary increase in such accidents a few days after “springing forward” that one hour.3 Springtime allows us to have healthier homes. The warmer weather allows us to open windows again, bringing fresh air into our living areas and lowering the amount of household toxins and allergens built up over the winter months. We also start to enjoy heathier skin and hair that is no longer being bombarded by harsh winds and freezing temperatures. Just remember to wear sunblock!
Spring also supports whole-body health as we have thoroughly moved away from the holiday indulgences and cold-weather heavier foods. There is a whole range of fresh, nutritious greens, such as peas, asparagus and kale that are at their peak during this season. Many of us can further take advantage of this opportunity to bring in more whole foods to heighten our health. Of course, there are so many AIM products that may heighten the effects of the possible springtime boost to our health. Many of us enjoy the nutritional benefits of the Garden Trio: BarleyLife, Just Carrots and RediBeets for its daily whole-food concentrates. Another AIM product to add to benefit our year-round health is FloraFood, probiotics that may help keep our gut healthy. Let’s all take advantage of the great opportunities this spring provides to strengthen wholebody health for ourselves and our loved ones. Explore the AIM products that can support us in this mission! My Plant-Based Lifestyle “I view ‘life’ as a plant; there are amazing life lessons through the growth of a plant,” said Dr. Lanny Donald.
Plants turn towards the sun Plants concentrate on their growth by facing the sun and take care of their own well-being. “I believe the body is like a plant that needs sunlight, clean air, water, and rich soil to grow; without these elements, it wilts and eventually dies,” Lanny explained. “If we nourish our bodies by eating clean and with good nutrition, our bodies can protect us, repair any damage, and keep us healthy and strong. All my family members have increased their intake of Garden Trio, ProPeas, and PrepZymes, as well as Fit ’n Fiber, FloraFood, Proancynol 2000, and other AIM products over the past two years. We maintain our usual work and activity levels and none of us has been sick. Our clients do the same, and they stay well.”
Plants add values to the lives around them Plants produce oxygen for our breath, bear fruits for our lives, and bloom flowers to make us smile. Likewise, with a passion for holistic health, Lanny offers dietary suggestion and support to whomever seeks her out. “I’d like to help people, at least within my circle, to achieve better life through good nutrition. And I’m grateful that God has given me the tools via AIM to serve His people. I usually give my patients a cup of ‘whole-food cocktail’ – a smoothie mix of Garden Trio, ProPeas and LeafGreens (I still have a few canisters.) before and after dental surgery to help in relieving the pain, swelling and bleeding afterward.”
Plants don’t set limits for themselves Plants adapt the change of seasons and grow as much as they possibly can. Apart from being a dentist and a homemaker, Lanny has also earned the level of Distinguished Toastmaster. Toastmasters International is an organization that teaches effective communication and leadership skills. “I have been with Toastmasters since 2003 through which I have built networks with people from different professions and with various experiences. The training has enabled me to communicate effectively with my clients especially on health issues and the presentation of the AIM products. I joined Chrysalis a few years ago and found the webinars are very helpful in gathering AIM product and health information. I can also maintain close contact with other AIM Members from different parts of the world.” “I am very thankful that AIM’s whole-food powder and natural health products have provided a comprehensive nutritional support for my body. Without the AIM products, I don’t know if I could sustain a busy day of work and recoup overnight,” said Lanny. AIM Chairman’s Club Director Lanny Donald wears many hats: she is a full-time dentist running a busy dental practice with her husband, Ken, in the Greater Vancouver area. She is the chauffeur, chef, and CEO who manages assorted household duties. As a wife, mother and grandmother, Lanny is the key health care provider for her big family. Testimonials should not be construed as representing results that everyone can achieve.
Good Food, Good Health By Darius Waldner I enjoy my 10-mile trekking through the bush on my snowmobile daily. Because of the heavy snowfall in my area this year, my vehicle usually got stuck in the snow a couple of times on each outing and I had to shovel it out by myself. At 74 years of age, I am thankful for the energy and stamina that I get from the nutrition provided by BarleyLife and BarleyLife Xtra so that I am able to do it. Recently, I have been travelling by crosscountry skis for one to one and a half miles a day. 2

Here again, I was pleased with the energy I have. I have enjoyed the benefits of BarleyLife for over 6 years. On and off, I have tried other green products simply because of lower pricing but I always came back to AIM as I soon realized that my body was missing the “high octane nutrients”. My advice to anyone who will listen is that products are usually cheaper for a reason! [Editor’s note: Thank you Group Builder Ingrid Stoetzel from Richer, MB and Chairman’s Club Director Edna Smith for sharing this wonderful testimonial.]
Women’s Health
Are You Taking Care of Your Health? Women and men share many similar health problems. Due to anatomic difference, women experience unique health issues and challenges from their teenage to golden years, which deserve special care and attention. Women nowadays live a life catering to various domains from family to profession, to social and to political arenas, where they perform multiple roles throughout their lives. Such demanding roles propel many of them to give every bit of their energy and time to fulfil their responsibilities, leaving their health in the last order of priority. Aging is often a good excuse, but years of disrupted hormonal balance are a major factor in declining health. The female reproductive system, with its complex compositions and functions, plays an important role in maintaining a balanced hormonal environment. A woman can experience problems not only affecting her gynecologic health, but those problems can also influence other body conditions, such as bone mass, body weight, cardiovascular health, blood sugar stability, and mental wellness. The average life expectancy for Canadian women is 84.1 years of age, whereas the life expectancy for men remains at 79.9 years. As women are living longer, it is essential to take care of their health and to anticipate a better quality of life throughout their span of years.

Women are 6 times more likely to die from CVD than from breast cancer.

CalciAIM – new look
CranVerry+ has transitioned to a bottle of 60 capsules, in which the capsules are smaller but they deliver the same amount of ingredients in a two-capsule serving. The change is due to the natural variation in powder density that no longer allows AIM to fit the proper weight of each ingredient in one capsule. The two smaller easier-to-swallow capsules provide the same benefits as one large capsule. New NPN 80112716 Single 6655E • $27.25 • 18 BVP 6-pack 6656E • $147.00 • 108 BVP
